Dr. Carolyn Forbes

No! Was with this Dr for years but I will never return, ever. With the growth tooele has seen and new doctors to choose from, I encourage people to seek medical help elsewhere... not here, not with Dr Forbes.

They need to fix the billing side of things!!!

BILLING LADY IS VARY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!! She clearly doesnt bill correctly (fraud) ????

Billing policies are horrible and they are famous for FRAUD, The billing lady also isn't nice nor professional!!!!

WARNING THEY WILL BILL INCORRECTLY TO YOUR INSURANCE, ITS HAPPENED TO ALOT OF US HERE IN TOOELE!!!!! The last 2 years it's chanced!!! My family and I have been going to see Dr. Carolyn Forbes for about eighteen years. I have multiple health problems, and Dr. Forbes and staff have gotten me through some major hospitalizations and crises. I am still alive on the planet, thanks to her hard work and dedication.

Quality of patient care has decreased over the past few years. It's taken me a few months to write this. I was disappointed last year when they started charging fees for refills right after yearly appointments. The billing lady is not very helpful or kind. They did not notify patients they would change this policy. Then, I went in for my yearly exam and complained about my COVID weight with Dr. Forbes. She stated she could give me some medication to help with my appetite and I reminded her that I am in recovery. She stated that the medication wouldn't cause an issue with my recovery and she was wrong. The medication was highly addictive and I came close to re-lapsing. My feelings is maybe, she wanted me to relapse so I would need to come into the clinic more than once a year again. I adored Dr. Forbes for years but I think the skin care section she offers has prevented her for giving quality patient care to those who have been seeing her for years. I have had good experiences with Sara and Cameron but Dr. Forbes really disappointed me and I have lost trust in her abilities to really listen to me when I say, I need to be careful with the medications I take due to my addictive personality. My family has been going to Dr Forbes office since she opened her practice in Tooele. Dr Forbes, her staff and CPA's are an amazing group. I am truly honored to HIGHLY recommend Dr Forbes and her staff to anyone old or new to the Tooele area.

Michelle was so helpful and answered all my questions with lots of information. I couldn't ask for better care! I would highly recommend Symphony Medical Spas to anyone!

Dr Forbes and all her staff are the most amazing professionals in their field of work. I am always greeted with a smile and and they take the time to listen to my concerns and treat me as needed. I have been going to her medical office for over a decade and now to her Spa. It doesn’t get any better that this!!

I found out about the laser the Dr. Forbes was doing and thought I would check out what she could do for my birth mark (port wine). We tested out a small section and I will tell you it hurt so much. Dr. Forbes told me she could give me shots to deaden the area. They were uncomfortable but I could take them. After my 3 full treatments I no longer needed the shots. The laser was quick and hardly any pain. This was because the blood vessels were shrinking. I have a few more treatments to go but I love working with Dr. Forbes and her team. They are wonderful. Dr. Forbes and her staff are amazing! I feel comfortable with Dr. Forbes she listens to my concerns, and gives me choices to my care. I love this office I would not want to change to another medical office.

A doctor who charges an out patient Dr's fee, for sending a prescription that had been taken for years, to the pharmacy. (Only 6 mths since last visit) Especially during covid. Heartless, penny pinching doctor. Sad. They weren't like this for the past 10 years I had been seen there. They've lost a patient for life.

Went here a few weeks ago. They are very expensive. New patients pay more due the history, and if you see them for multiply things. I was unaware of this, and there was no mention about new patients paying more. I didn't even see their actual doctors, I saw a PA, that was brand new (katie). Apparantly they charge by the minute. I wont be going back. My bill is through the roof for just speaking to them and lab work. Go somewhere else so you dont pay a lot of money. I know I will!! Went here a few weeks ago. Dr Forbes is wonderful, she takes the time to talk to you about all your health concerns. I would recommend her to my friends & family.

I love. love this place and all of the doctors! They treat you so good. They actually take the time to listen to all your needs and I do not feel rushed whatsoever. Its nice to have a doctor that I can rely on! Best Dr. office out there!

Dr. Carolyn Forbes, Cameron and Sara are an AMAZING combination! They all take really good care of me and my children. I love Valley Family Medicine, they have literally been LIFE SAVERS time and time again for me and my family! Thank You All!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Forbes for nearly 20 years and even though I no longer live in the Tooele Valley I still travel there for my appointments. Dr. Forbes provides excellent care. She listens carefully to your concerns and questions. She is also a great communicater making sure you understand test results, medications, diagnosis, and treatment options. I would highly recommend her as a family practitioner. She does have a very busy schedule however so you need to schedule in advance.

I have been with Dr. Forbes for 17 years even though I moved away from Tooele 16 years ago. I have stayed with Dr. Forbes and her staff due to the excellent level of care I have received over the years. The hour-and-a-half drive to her office is worth it. I primarily work with PA Sarah, who has been excellent to work with to maintain my medications throughout my many insurance carrier changes. I have never had to wait an abnormally long period in order to get an appointment. A++

I have been going to Dr Forbes office for 5 years. Recently I have been going through a crisis when I fell and her PA Sara Carstensen has been helping through with the specialists and with disability. Today I went in for a follow up and all of a sudden a billing staff tells the receptionist in front of everyone that I'm not allowed to be seen unless I pay $XX.XX right now. Mind you I had been in several times and no one had ever mentioned anything. I left in tears because I was so humiliated.

Dr Forbes Cameron and staff are all amazing. They really listen to how you feel and couldn't be any more understanding. They are all patient and kind. They treat my kids grear. Only down fall is having to schedule out so far in advance to see Dr Forbes. Love you all

I'm new to the Utah area. I went to the office and had an okay visit. My issue is not with the medical care but with office policies. Beware of their policies. I was not billed at visit but sent a bill AND billed a billing fee!! I have NEVER been issued a billing fee and I have had A LOT of medical bills due to children with health issues. I've had bills out the wazoo and never been charged a billing fee. She said she clear the fee but then still sent another bill!!!!!! HORRIBLE. if this is how they want to treat a paying patient- of which they have already received plenty from insurance- then I don't care to do business with them again. Beware.
