Dr. Coffey is a very humble surgeon with exceptional expertise in his field of work. He has excellent perioperative instructions that are clear and easy to interpret. He takes the time to listen and answer any questions you have about your surgery. Prior to going into surgery he came to see me to go over the surgery process again and since I requested music be played in the operating room, we went through a song list and selected artists to listen to. As I rolled into the OR, music was playing and the atmosphere was positive. His crew was exceptional. While in PACU, he came by to speak with me about how the surgery went, showed me pictures of what he did and went over what medications I would be getting to control pain. I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Coffey's down to earth, friendly and compassionate approach to how he treats his patients. All around 100% recommend him as a surgeon. Dr. Coffey is an exceptionally talented doctor. He is humble, compassionate, and exudes passion in his field of work. I underwent a lap hysterectomy with salpingectomy on 3/30/18 at Salem hospital. The entire crew; pre-op nursing staff, anesthesia team, op-team, PACU nursing, and lastly...and most importantly, Dr. Coffey were excellent! He has a strong, qualified cohesive team. He has a keen sense of connecting with his patients on a personal level. 100% recommend. Excellent

Dr Coffey is an experienced and honest doctor and if you’re looking for an OBGYN consider him. He is part of NSMC OBGYN that’s in Danvers and Swampscott. I had my daughter on 9/29/16 and I was lucky that he was there to deliver her. A “Umbilical cord prolapse” happened with her and it was a bad one. He handled it all well and I think my daughter is healthy and here because of him.

Dr Coffey is an amazing, honest, trustworthy and experienced doctor who really cares about his patients. He listens and is genuinely concerned about all my questions and fears. He performed my surgery last month and I had no complications. He called me personally on the phone to see how I was recuperating. Because he does not rush you through any appointment he does tend to run behind schedule a bit. I don't mind this though because I know he is giving someone else the time they need too.

Dr. Coffey is a wonderful, caring doctor. Always pleasant and listens to your concerns. Never feel rushed.

I have had 3 appointments in a row with this doctor either, No show or very late! 3 times in a row ladies and gentleman. People like us have a schedule that we go by, this is unacceptable!

I was recommended to see Dr Coffey as a great surgeon by my OBGYN doctor Heller. My primary care dr August also has high opinion of dr Coffey and mentioned that a lot of his patients were treated by Dr Coffey and all were happy. And I also had perfect experience having Dr Coffey perform the surgery. He is very experienced, knowledgeable and confident in what he is doing. From the first meeting I trusted him, he was very thorough explaining everything and was always available if I had questions.
