I had my wisdom teeth out today and was very nervous, but everyone made my time there today so much easier and less scary! ???? I'm very afraid of needles so the IV was the scariest part for me, but Bre was the sweetest ever!! ❤ My arm has always been sore after getting IV's or getting my blood drawn but she must be magical because my arm is barely sore at all. I'm very afraid of needles, but she was the best ever which meant a lot to someone who gets nervous at hospitals. She helped me stay calm and was the best person I've ever had do my IV / needle. Montana was very sweet to me as well! My mom obviously couldn't be back there to hold my hand but Montana was so kind and let me hold hers and show her my stuffed bunny. Very sweet! I'm not sure of everyone's names but the front desk girls, nurses, and Dr. Cook were all wonderful! Made a scary experience the best they could and aside from the surgery part, I actually had fun with everyone today and they made me feel comforted and laugh a lot instead of scared! ???? I also brought a stuffed animal to help with anxiety and no one judged me, thank you! Everyone was very sweet and professional. I never leave reviews but felt the need to leave one today. Thank you to everyone for being so sweet to me and making me laugh during a very scary day, 10 / 10 would suggest! ???????? If I could give 0 stars, I would. We were referred here by my daughter's orthodontist to get a tooth exposed. I went in telling the nurses and Dr. Cook about my daughter's extreme anxiety and how if she was aware of anything that she would not allow the surgery. Well, they tried anyway and after 30 minutes, the surgery didn't happen. Dr. Cook assured me that we could try again another day that he would put her to sleep, waiting to put the IV in until she was unaware of what was happening. Her orthodontist called Dr. Cook specifically and they agreed she would be put to sleep for the next surgery. Fast forward to today, she is back for surgery, has been fasting for 8 hours as instructed, and my husband advises the nurses and Dr. Cook that they need to put her to sleep (as agreed) and that her IV needed to wait until she is unaware. After 30 minutes, they call my husband back and inform him that they once again couldn't do the surgery. He asked him if they put her to sleep as we agreed and they said "No we gave her laughing gas, but she wouldn't let us put the needle in". Hello? Twice? Do you listen to your patients at all? As if that wasn't bad enough, Dr. Cook told my daughter how disappointed we (her parents) were of her for not allowing the surgery and told my husband and daughter that yesterday a six year old allowed him to put an IV in and my daughter is an adult and should be able to handle this. She is thirteen with extreme anxiety of medical procedures and we informed the doctor of this twice, as did our orthodontist. All I can say is run from this place!!!!!!!!!!! I don't need to pay a doctor to put my daughter down and bully her into compliance. Dr. Cook, this is one of the worst experiences we have had with a doctor. We will find another office that understands about my daughter's needs and listens. Your office staff at the front desk is nice and helpful, but you need to learn to listen to your patients and other advising doctors!!! If I could give 0 stars, I would. Registered and waited 75 minutes for a consult. When we asked when it was our turn, they clearly clued in and got us in. The Nurse could care less we waited. The dr acknowledge it, but that was it. If you want a rude, arrogant, inpersonable experience, this is a good choice. Respect people to get respect......

This year I have become a patient of Dr. Clifford Cook at the Northwest Oral & Facial Surgery. I have been very satisfied with the ease of making appointments, the friendliness of the support staff and the friendliness and competence of Dr. Cook and his dental assistants. My procedure was very comfortable and pain free! I would not consider using another oral surgery practice.
