Shereen Hashmi

I will be seeking another rheumatologist. I’ve been experiencing health problems that are rapidly getting worse, and was hoping that she would order labs for me and do more extensive diagnostic testing. She asked a lot of questions and I felt that she had already made up her mind within the first five minutes of our appointment. No more labs were given, and when she gave me the diagnosis she asked “is that enough? Are you satisfied with that?” as if I was there to get a useless diagnosis rather than helpful information about alarming health issues.

Dr. Hashmi was dismissive and rude. One of the most unhelpful physicians I’ve ever encountered. Do not go here if you’re overweight, she will tell you nothing is wrong with you and you need to just work out. Beware if you have allergies to dogs, as there’s one in the office.

Been with Dr. Hashemi for more than 15 years. She is the most compassionate doctor and person you would ever want to help you. The office staff and Sandy the infusion nurse are the Best. Thanks!

Been going here for over 4 years now and have to say Dr. Hashmi is one of the best doctors I have worked with. Not only that, but the staff that works here is amazing and the nurse is perfect. When I first came here, I could barely walk up to the door and now, through working together on everything, I am in a much better place with everything. I have been a patient since 2006, she has always been very professional and given very thorough explanation of my disease process.

Dr. Hashmi was everything I had hoped for in a doctor. Knowledgeable, helpful, thorough, compassionate, and kind. I felt like I had a clear treatment plan after leaving my appointment and am looking forward to hopefully positive results. Thank you Dr. Hashmi!

Dr. Hashmi is an excellent and compassionate doctor who has been treating my RA for several years. She listens and cares deeply for her patients. The office staff is wonderful, as well. I am thankful to be a patient of this practice.

Dr Hashmi is fantastic. She is so calm and encouraging, you feel that she really cares. She always checks in to make sure you are doing well. Arthritis is no fun, especially when you're in your early 30's. At other offices I've been to, I feel like a leper--like everyone is looking at me like "what is she doing here?" My wife, Trudy Crosiar, came to see the doctor because of arthritis in her ankles. She couldn't walk any distance without pain. Trudy wanted to walk our puppy but couldn't. She was prescribed medication to ease the her discomfort. She immediately felt relief. Yesterday, for the first time, she was able to walk the puppy around the condominium property which measures .4 miles. She was so happy she could do this. I was thrilled. Thank you so very much for making her feel better.

I was very sick when I first met her....could hardly walk with a disease still not named. She kept close watch for over a year but I kept improving. So now I see once a year to just keep her updated and she checks my meds. Wonderful compassionate lady!!

I was offended when the Dr mocked the way I walked. I did not receive adequate information when I asked. I am a person that wants to make an informed decision so I ask questions such as why would I take conventional medicine when it didn't seem to work before? What are the different treatments available that were not available when I was first DX? They did not call me to tell me about test results. I would not recommend this dr.
