She delivered my first born 6 years ago. I was induced a week early (come to find out because she was leaving on vacation). I actively pushed for 4.5 hrs. Nurse told me they usually consider c-sections at 1.5 hrs. Bartholomew kept coming in saying I was strong and could handle it. I was so exhausted I was passing out and had to be woken up to push. I have a variety of health issues because of that experience, as well as my son. As a first time mom at the time, I trusted her to do what was the best thing for me and was very much let down.

I have been a patient forcibly for the past 4 years. This is the coldest most callous Dr around for my sensitive areas. She is at least 30 minutes or more late every single time. She does not respect me as a patient and treats me very harshly. She forces me to have med students present even though I keep telling her I don't feel comfortable, she runs unnecessary procedures on me bc she put me in her study and will not allow other obgyns to see me. I did not give consent to be a part of her study and since she has been cutting into me every year has found absolutely nothing and has no reason to run these labs. I hate her as a doctor and I want someone else.

Dr. Bartholomew has been wonderful and so helpful treating me. Staff are nice also.

First doctor I’ve been to that truly has lack of any genuine care for her patients. I became pregnant through IVF, and was given direction from my IVF specialist to check my thyroid monthly to ensure proper levels, ensuring the safety of my baby and pregnancy. Dr. Bartholomew insisted I didn’t need to get it checked, which is actually really dangerous. Luckily I’m moving and easily have the opportunity to seek care from a trusted OBGYN. She was usually 30-45 minutes late, rushed, didn’t ask how I was doing, and made comments that didn’t make sense and caused a lot of anxiety. First doctor I’ve been to that truly has lack of any genuine care for her patients. I became pregnant through IVF, and was given direction from my IVF specialist to check my thyroid monthly to ensure proper levels, ensuring the safety of my baby and pregnancy. Dr. Bartholomew insisted I didn’t need to get it checked, which is actually really dangerous. Luckily I’m moving and easily have the opportunity to seek care from a trusted OBGYN. She was usually 30-45 minutes late, rushed, didn’t ask how I was doing, and made comments that didn’t make sense and caused a lot of anxiety. I made it clear from my first appointment that I was not comfortable getting the Covid vaccine while pregnant, yet every appointment she pushed and pushed in a rude manner, it was all she was talking about as I heard my baby’s heartbeat for the first time after four years of infertility. Terrible bedside manner.

Don't waste your time. She's don't care much about anything.

I went for my first appointment and doctor was in a hurry and didn’t take time with me. The staff was amazing. She gave me a diagnosis but told me she was to busy to treat me. That I needed to see a dermatologist. I did and they did a biopsy which showed that I did not have what dr bartholmew said. I would not go to her. I adore Dr Bartholomew and have had a long time relationship with her. I like her bedside manner and her expertise. She has helped me with incontinence and the things that go with it.

Dr. Deb Bartholomew is a consumate and trusted professional.

I'm reading the comments before and it's almost identical to my experience with this doctor, she's the worst and I mean the worst doctor I've ever crossed paths with! My primary doctor made a referral to see her because I've been getting recurring BV and yeast infections for more than 5 years and I really wanted a good Obgyn who had the medical expertise plus the experience but boy was I wrong! I don't remember the doctor who did the actual LEEP procedure, but Dr. Bartholomew was overseeing it. I told the entire room I still had feeling in my cervix. They ignored me and went ahead and burned off my abnormal cells. I was screaming in pain the entire time. I had two doctors, one nurse and one student doctor in the room. No one listened to me. No one seemed to care that I wasn't numb. And no one seemed to care that it hurt. I now live with ptsd as a direct result of the LEEP procedure. My quality of life has been compromised by this woman and the people in her office. Her license should be revoked. This is the worst OB/GYN Doctor in my entire life. I used to feel Doctors generally had a rude personality but this one right here does not even have the bare instincts of why she is a Dr especially to how sensitive yet complicated some women health issues coukd be. This Doctor is rude, shrewd and unprofessional while 95% of the times her staff is rude they are expected to do all the questionsand answers for their patientients. my encounter with this lady is one which even my worse of enemies deserves better I will never recommend anybody to this lady she is mean and evil. I used to be a Patient any without any notice or alternative she discharged me with" we can only hope and pray there is nothing I can do at this time we no longer take you inssurance but once your insurrance from work starts to kick in you can came back" Basically I have no clue what is going on with my body and to say the least I am in total frustration. Absolutely not recommended. Horrible bedside manner and unapologetic for her mistakes. She should not be trusted.

DO NOT USE HER! I went in for a hysterectomy. I was unable to keep anything down and she released me from the hospital. Many calls were made over the next 3 days. I was told "you had major surgery, you need to buck up." Day 4 I was rushed to the hospital and into emergency surgery. I was SEPTIC! An additional 5 surgeries were required to repair all the damage done. Perforated bowel in two places, perforated ureter, several stints and finally ureter surgery. I have kidney infections after 3yrs!

Dr. Bartholomew was totally ignorant to my visit and asked me "Why are you here?" She then asked "Can I help you?" Before introducing herself. Her office is overscheduled and I got lost in the shuffle. Like being invisible and Dr. wasn't prepared for my acheduled visit.

I highly recommend Dr. Bartholomew and her assistant Laura. I was very nervous for the procedure I had to undergo, but she was efficient and informative. They are great at what they do. I was in great hands!

Dr. Bart is a calm, careful doctor. She is not a cheerleader happy go lucky type, she keeps things professional and informative. Her intelligence and capabilities are obvious and I found her to be great during and after my pregnancies.

She delivered my son because my doctor was not on call at the time. In that context, she was great. Kind, effective, and seemed skillful with surgical technique. She spent adequate time answering my questions postpartum.

Very flaky. I just don't trust her.
