Dr. David Alexander Kelly

Dr. Kelly was the surgeon who closed the wound after Moh's surgery. He told me that since I had dissolvable stitches I would not need a follow-up appointment. One week later, the area with stitches was red, angry-looking, and painful. I called the number on the sheet I was given, and never got through. I then called the number for Center for Dermatology and Plastic Surgery and was able to talk to a medical assistant in triage who told me to contact Dr. Kelly directly. When I did, Dr. Kelly showed no compassion and told me he did not see "why I was getting so upset." Since he was on vacation, he eventually got me an appointment with his medical assistant who removed the stitches, supplied information about scar care, and explained the situation in depth. The pain was alleviated immediately, and the appearance has improved somewhat. I have no confidence in a plastic surgeon who does not schedule an appointment for wound inspection and who does not provide info about scar care.

I couldn't get better care then from Dr Kelly and his staff.

His calm bedside manner put me at ease as I was very concerned about having Mohs surgery on my nose. After only 2 weeks his skills show amazing results. A pleasant caring doctor, the staff at the Gilbert office were very accommodating and all were very nice especially Dr. Kelly’s surgical tech. I travel 30 minutes to the Gilbert office when I live a mile from the Sun Lakes office, that office is awful.

I am a physician and am grateful I was referred to Dr. Kelly.Dr. Kelly did such a beautiful breast reconstruction after I was treated for breast cancer. I would highly recommend him whether or not you have cancer. He is an artist! His bedside manner is comforting and kind and so appreciated in my time of need.

Repair after MOHS for BCC. Dr Kelly has a calm reassuring manner & I’m confident the result once healed will be great.

I feel very blessed to have found Dr. David Kelly, it is not every day that we find a skilled, professional and caring doctor, but I did. I am completely satisfied with the encapsulation removal he performed on me. He is a true artist! My breasts look amazing. A big shout out to all the professional office people in his practice, they are amazing and so professional. I recommend Dr. David Kelly and his practice to anybody that is looking for a skilled surgeon.

Dr Kelly and his staff are very professional and fun to be around , given the circumstances. I would refer them to any friends or family. Thanks for all you did for me (except the huge scar on my nose ??).

It's not often you find a doctor who is just as kind and attentive as he is skilled. Really the best plastic surgeon around. He treated a trauma injury to my face and it's healed up beautifully. Definitely knows what he his doing. So glad to have found him.

Dr Kelly and his staff have bent over backwards to make certain my experience with reconstruction of my right breast after cancer surgery is positive and looks good. Dr Kelly has made personal phone calls to me to make sure I understand his philosophy as well as taking much time with me in his office to be sure I know the steps that will be taken to perform the reconstruction. His staff has also been very responsive and helpful. I would recommend him to anyone wanting plastic surgery.

Dr. Kelly is a knowledgeable, courteous,and proficient professional. No problem scheduling, but I was unprepared to cover full cost the day of procedure.

I saw Dr. Kelly the first time after learning that I had a rare cancer and I was so happy with the concern he showed and I am dealing with cyst on my wrist area and after trying other options I will be having surgery. I would not consider any other doctor.

One can't speak too highly about Dr.Kelly & his polite efficient nurses, Kelsey, Dawn & Ashley. He is professional, skilled, caring (even calls you later that day !) and also humorous.......excellent !

Surgery was quick and easy. Plus, don't know too many docs who would call you at 7:30 on a Friday night to check on you after your surgery. Great experience. 5 stars from me.

I had a very positive experience with Dr. Kelly and his staff. He treated me with compassion, and never made me feel awkward or uncomfortable. He communicated what he'd be doing in my procedure, bantered amicably during the procedure (ostensibly to keep my mind off the excision process), and followed up with me personally via phone later that day.

I got to meet Dr. Kelly last week. My partner had an appointment and I went with him. What a great doctor. He listened to our concerns and explained everything in detail. I had a situation I needed to talk to him about and he spent time with me discussing what he could do for me. I have an appointment next week to go over everything in detail. I would have no second thoughts about recommending this doctor.

Dr. Kelly along with his staff could not come more highly recommended. He does excellent work and is very attentive to his patient's needs. His staff is equally excellent and each contributes to make surgery as positive of an experience as possible.
