David Merer

Let me start by saying that Dr.Merer himself deserves 1 million stars. He is absolutely amazing with my daughter, myself, and probably just in general as a person. His staff however deserves -45 stars. They are literally the rudest, non-caring, no urgency whatsoever bunch of people, I’ve ever encountered in my life (not the after hour answering service to be clear- they are nice and kind). I contacted his office to get her an appt as she is complaining of hearing loss in her right ear- when we last saw him he very specifically said to “reach out if she has another ear infection before her next appt OR if something more happens like hearing loss or anything like that. Contact me right away.” So I did. The receptionist who answered couldn’t be bothered, didn’t seem to care or want to help. Why do you work there then? As a parent I am freaking out that my child is saying she can’t hear out her one ear and you are rude and uncaring and zero percent comforting. Pretend for the love of God. As I “write” this I am currently on hold waiting for someone to try to get him on the phone which won’t happen as I have a telemed visit(for myself, not with Merer) at 1pm. I hate to write reviews but people should know that Dr.Merer himself deserves all the accolades in the world. His front staff deserves a course in manners/respect/empathy/urgency and why they want to continue receiving a check.

I could not be happier with my son's visit with Dr. Merer. He is amazing with children. We visited because the pediatrician advised to have his ear checked as something seemed to be lodged in there and he wasn't sure what it was nor could he get it out. Dr. Merer was super friendly and informative every step of the way, displaying the utmost patience with a very fidgety and curious 4 year old wanting to know what and touch everything in the office was. Both he and his nurse, Crystal were super nice and caring. I couldn't be more elated with our visit or the fact that Dr. Merer was able to dislodge what was stuck in his ear, saving us a trip to the ER and the possibility of my son having to be put under heavy anesthetics. I would recommend him to anyone with children, he is amazing. Thank you!

He is excellent and knows what he is doing. I honestly trust him. Im traveling from far so my child can have the best care by Dr. Merer.

Awesome staff Dr. Merer operated on my daughter recently. He is genuinely one of the most caring and best doctors I've ever experienced. If I could I would have given 10 stars

We love Dr. Merer! Both of my kids see him and have tubes put in by him. He is truly amazing w/ kids and has the best bed side manner! Would totally recommend him.

Dr.Merer is amazing. He is an excellent surgeon. His way with children is truly kind and compassionate. He would come in on his day off if one of patients need him. I would recommend him especially for kids who have recurring issues or special needs.

He was AMAZING. He spoke & played with our 4.5 year old daughter before even saying hello to us (the parents). He made sure she was comfortable, and laughing. Very thorough, patient, kind. Probably one of the best doctors (for children) we have ever met. Waiting to schedule surgery.

Dr. Merer is the absolute Best!!!! he has been treating my daughter since she was 6 months old. Yes there could be a wait but if you explain what is going on they will get you in that day or the following day. Please note there are 2 locations and he goes to both. I normally go to Ardsley.

Dr. Merer is a wonderful and compassionate physician! He is so wonderful with kids. He is kind, patient, and thorough. Would highly recommend!

Have seen Dr. Merer in every office he has. My daughter loathes doctors but took to Dr. Merer immediately. The best bedside manner of any doctor I have ever dealt with. Would recommend him to anyone needing a pediatric ENT. My daughter is scheduled for her 2nd surgery with him and is actually excited for it (she is 4)

What an amazing Dr! Love his staff in Suffern (only office we have experience with.). His care exceeds the care of any Dr. we have ever had to deal with. He gives personal service and cares for his patients greatly!

He was great with our son. Would highly recommend if you can get over the people scheduling appointments and processing paperwork (they are not great at all)
