Dr. Ilan took his time explaining the particulars of my case, and answered all my questions, in a friendly and thorough manner. He seemed truly competent to me, as did his x-ray technician. Highly recommend.

I was completely satisfied with my visit to NEO and Dr. Ilan - he & his very informative assistant solved my pain issue immediately and advised how to proceed with care clearly. My ONLY complaint does not have to do with the doctors care but has to do with the "Mask Mandate" issued by the office. I fully support wearing a mask in a doctor's office; however, for them not to supply them for their patients seems very ridiculous. One patient could not enter because she had forgotten a mask which is understandable since the mask issue is so subjective of late. I can't imagine that it is a costly item to provide and I think out of concern for their patients, all doctor's offices should have them available. I went there because several people told me that this was the best place to fix my broken bone, when I got there they were so excited to help other people but then when it came to me they completely just chose to just amputate it instead of going with the first option which was to fix my bone and have my skin heal it’s sad and I’m very disturbed. Excellent knowledge and bedside manner

Dr. Ilan is the best hand surgeon that I have ever been to! He is my third hand surgeon/doctor that I have been to. Having bilateral congenital hand deformities is already a challenge. But Dr. Ilan and Jonathan absolutely go out of their way to help me fix my issues. They are very caring and listen and help address my issues. I am heading into my third surgery since January 2021 and I feel so very comfortable with Dr. Ilan. Thank you for not dismissing my needs. I would highly recommend Dr. Ilan to anyone with hand issues. Dr. Ilan is the best hand surgeon that I have ever been to! He is my third hand surgeon/doctor that I have been to. Dr. Ilan was very thorough about listening to my problems and addressing them right away. Dr. Illan treated my condition with competence and confidence. It was my first visit and I felt that I had all my concerns answered and received the exact right treatment. He's a real pro and a good guy.

Great Hand Specialist. I have been to a few and Dr. Ilan is one of the best. He is thorough and can find the issues that other Doctors have missed.

Dr Ilan replaced my rt thumb joint 3 yrs ago. He wanted to do my left 1st as the bone spurs were larger but I wanted the right done since I’m rt handed & afraid if it was bad I wouldn’t come back. It was literally a breeze compared to what everyone said about hand surgery. I’m calling this brilliant surgeon this week since my left hand is so bad I haven’t slept in 3 days. I let this go far too long & it’s causing the middle of the thumb, the joint above, so much pain. I’m still scared but know that I’ve been through this before & because he’s the best I will be in good hands. Pun intended! Wonderful Doctor with a great bedside manner!

I Saw Dr. Ilan for a second opinion and he was able to find problems in my hand that the other hand specialist was not able to. He was thoughtful, considerate, and no nonsense. A confident and kind doctor!

Pros: Very knowledgeable and good bedside manner Cons: His office is very disorganized and I had to call 4 times to get my records sent. Secondly, you will wait a long time in the waiting room. If you have time to waste and won't need to transfer your records, I recommend him.

Dr. Ilan is so knowledgeable and kind. I’ve been to see him many times. Personally, with two of my sons and with my mother. He has a great bedside manner with all ages. The office staff couldn’t be more efficient and helpful. Highly recommend!

I agree, Office staff less than efficient, but Dr. Ilan performed surgery on my husband and will be performing surgery on me next week. He is kind and a VERY good surgeon. I'm sorry to see these reviews. After my surgery, I'll come back and see if my stars still stay the same!

Dr. Ilan has been my orthopedist for many years. He has treated many of my family members and is very knowledgeable. He explains everything carefully and clearly. I had a carpal tunnel surgery done by him and the outcome was far better than several other people I know that had it done by other surgeons. He uses a less invasive method that has a faster recovery time. I highly recommend this doctor.

I wish I could put less than one star, I tried to get through to this office for 48 hrs, their answering service is a mess, and Dr. Ilan, well, I don't want to use offensive language , but he is utterly completely useless and was less than helpful,

Dr. Ilan was very supportive and answered my questions. He did a great job on both of my hands (trapezoid joint removal with tendon reconstruction) and one shoulder (rotator cuff repair). I recommend him to others with similar problems. I will see him again when necessary.

Dr. Ilan performed endoscopic carpal tunnel release surgery on both of my wrists: dominant hand in 2/2014 and non-dominant hand in 10/2016. Since the procedures, I've made a full recovery and regained 100% use of both hands. I had minimal post-op pain (2 on a scale of 1 - 10, with 1 being very little pain), and no carpal tunnel pain at all since the procedures. Dr. Ilan is a brilliant surgeon and a kind, caring person. I highly recommend him and his POWR staff.

I had carpal tunnel surgery with Dr. Ilan on both hands over a 3 month period. I live in Queens NY and have Fidelis coverage and was shocked at how difficult it was to find a specialist in the area who preformed the procedure endoscopicly. Dr. Ilan was a little out of the way but well worth it. Wonderful guy and he did a great job. I only wish I had it done much sooner in life.

I have Dupytrens Contracture in my left hand which comes back every year or 2 requiring surgery. Dr. Ilan is very knowledgeable regarding this and explains everything to me ahead of time. My procedures all go well and allow me to get back to work and life very quickly with very little down time. There is no other Dr. I would recommend.
