Dr. David Paul Mosch

I hope this man retires before he causes any more families the pain he caused mine. We considered Dr. Mosch a neighbor, friend and family throughout my childhood. I baby sat his daughters and enjoyed neighborhood functions with his family. After I grew up and moved away my dad continued with Dr. Mosch as his primary doctor for nearly 25 years. 25 years of knowing my dad and the way he treated him and my family at the sudden end of his life was astonishing. I am an ER nurse and work closely with doctors and especially in situations like my father was in and I have never seen anyone disregard their patient to the degree he did. My dad lost his life earlier than expected and Dr. Mosch's last task as his lifelong provider was to sign his death certificate. He refused to sign it, which not only caused my family and I immense pain during our grief, but also had my dad sit in a freezer for 3 weeks rotting and we were unable to have a memorial or be able to handle his last affairs due to this. We called, the funeral home called, the department of health called and still he refused to sign even though it is his primary job. I cannot believe that any doctor would let their ego punish not only their lifelong patient but also the family that he knew. No matter how you feel about a patient, you still have a duty to care for them, even more so at the end of their life. My Dad trusted Dr. Mosch for 25 years and in return Dr. Mosch let him rot in a freezer for weeks and delayed his memorial. He never did sign his death certificate and due to the outrageous circumstances another doctor who did not even know my dad stepped in. I hope no one else has to go through what he put us through. Our father suffered and our family suffered knowing there was nothing we could do but hear week after week that he was still in a freezer and we could not even plan a memorial. I'm appalled that he was ever our neighbor and friend. My dad deserved better.

This is one of the most attentive caring Doctors I have known. His bedside manner is phenomenal along with his personality!!!

When discussing my problems with the medical assistant was told only to discuss one issue per visit with an attitude. Then the doctor stated my issue couldn’t have been that bad if I was unable to get my medication. He judged me and walking out this office I felt bad and nothing was resolved after paying $100. I don’t recommend this place. There’s hundreds of other PCPS that genuinely care for patients and not judge you. Avoid this place at all cost.

Dr. Mosch is amazing, but his front desk staff have always been incredibly rude and need to learn customer service skills.

The providers at this practice are decent. The front office staff could use a lot of customer service training. Most of the people who work here look like they don’t want to be there. One particular employee is just plain rude to patients. Listened to her tell a patient she should have set a calendar reminder in her phone when the patient asked why she didn’t receive an appointment reminder. Nothing is bright or modern. Processes are archaic. No one has any enthusiasm and the office has a weird musky smell.

Their billing is very questionable and in my opinion dishonest. They don’t have a set fee for each visit, they charge you a deductible in the first visit and in the second visit they charge you the same deductible plus more deductible for the first visit claiming that the doctor charges by the minute of time spent with you, but he always spends the same amount of time . Also the staff treat you as if you were a car and they were mechanics. Very rude, specially the one guy who takes your vitals and blood pressure. He is the proof that men can’t be good nurses. If you're hearing impaired and want to be treated like you're stupid this is the place to go. Very rude and unprofessional, the Nurse practitioner Catherine has no desire to accommodate the hearing impaired.

The Dr seems ok but the staff are the rudest people. Do NOT come to this office. I have been sitting here in the waiting room for 40 minutes. This has been going on for the past two years. I should have switched a long time ago. I will be doing it after I leave this visit. Oh and the receptionist is just plain RUDE!!!!

I have been coming to this office specifically because of Dr. Mosch for over 15 years. I have NEVER had such a terrible experience like I did this week: I was forced to come in person to ask for a referral to see a dermatologist because I am having trouble with facial acne. I have done this twice previously without any problem or issue however after my last Derm closed I was told I had to come in person to get a referral for a new Derm. I was very skeptical of this because this had never been required of me before and I asked for virtual appointments and was told that is not an option. Today at 8:20 I came to office and waited a lousy 20 min for the Dr. to come in and ask me why I was there. I said a referral for a dermatologist and she said okay do you have any other questions and I did not so I left. I WANT DR MOSCH TO SEE THIS POST and know that you all need to come up with something better and respectful of patients time. My time is valuable, It is absolutely unacceptable and completely INSULTING that you think we have this kind of time to WASTE for absolutely no reason. I was also told to cover my nose with my mask so considering you all are so worried about the “pandemic” yet you are forcing patients to come in and waste their time over nothing. The care they provide is good. They have been able to properly diagnose me I’d say about 4/5 times. The reason I’m leaving a one star review and will not be returning is because they are awful at working with or billing my insurance. I would expect any respectable medical service provider in the modern age to do their best to help patients shoulder the cost of the oppressively exorbitant cost of healthcare in America. Unfortunately, the employees at David Mosch do not do this. I always double check with my insurance what I can and cannot do before I go in. Once I’m actually being seen, the people at David mosch inform me that I can’t do certain things with my insurance and refuse to contact my insurance. The specific instance that finally broke the camel’s back is that I was scheduling an annual checkup and also wanted to discuss a potential H. Pylori infection with the physician. I have been seeing Dr Mosch and the physician's assistants here for 20 or so years. I've never waited long, and I always get in the same day or that week. The staff is knowledgeable, kind, and professional. I'm not sure what is up with the other reviews of people complaining about this and that. Lindsey is professional and knowledgeable. Doctor requested I take some additional tests that were not required or needed during my yearly physical as he is “graded by the state” on having them completed, then I was charged for these tests as they weren’t covered by my insurance which he did not inform me of. I tried to explain to the staff the situation but she just kept telling me I signed a document saying I would pay for the tests if insurance did not cover them. Dr. Mosch is by far the best doctor that I've ever seen. I've had a continual back problem since 1999 and although Dr. Mosch is not a magician, his treatments have decreased my pain levels substantially. I highly recommend Dr. Mosch and his staff!

I've been seeing Dr. Mosch for as long as I can remember, as I've grown up around Oviedo. I've only seen him whenever I was sick, but I decided to see him for the medication I'm on for ADHD. A lot of doctors are skeptical about writing certain slips to new patients, Dr Mosch included (I certainly don't blame him. I have been going to Dr Mosch since moving to the Orlando area. He was recommended by the only friend I had at the time. Dr Mosch always has a good disposition and he listens to you explain your condition. The office staff has always been friendly. Being friendly and giving attention to patients needs is a hard thing these days. Not all patients come in to a doctors office with a good attitude ??.

If you want to visit a doctor’s office with cob webs, dirty walls, and looks like it hasn't been updated since 1995 than this is the place for you. If you want to be treated by some of the most incompetent people that shouldn’t be allowed to run a veterinarian’s office for dying animals, then say hello to your new doctor. They can’t even fill a simple prescription and have it sent to the right pharmacy.

Lindsay was cute but the office staff has no idea what they're doing. I told them my reasoning for needing to come Xanax I've been previously prescribed before the new little doctor across the street came into play. They said they could refill my prescription and become my primary. I thought perfect close to home I get there first thing I see is a Chinese paper and says no Xanax. I’ve been bringing my mom to see Dr. Mosch for many years. He always extremely attentive and kind. Highly recommend.

I've been a patient for many years. The Dr is really caring, always takes as much time as you need to go over your issues and to make sure all the questions are answered.

Dr. Mosch has treated four generations of my family. He is a great diagnostician, with a good heart. Sometimes his staff is great, sometimes iffy. I highly recommend him.

Very disappointing, superficial, not a passionate doctor. Good if you are NOT sick. Reactive no proactive. To avoid if you need a good doctor. In addition, he will do what the insurances want him to do. For example, he will code your lab test as diagnostic and not prevention so that you do not benefit the full one year physical. So sad... Absolutely terrible doctor. My biggest problem with him is instead of just educating his patients on how to safely and properly take anxiolytic (xanax, vallium, klonopin, etc.) and opiate pain medication like an intelligent and good doctor that wants to help his patients, he flat out refuses to prescribe either of these medications because he is afraid of any sort of ramifications on his license. Instead of prescribing me something for my anxiety his office told me I needed to see a psychiatrist for my anxiety. That psychiatrist promptly put me on a cocktail of medications for my anxiety and depression that caused me to have a severe mental breakdown and to be admitted into a psychiatric ward. Where if he had just prescribed me xanax or something close to it, none of that ever would have happened, so I absolutely blame his office for that. The next problem I have is he is extremely fake. He throws up this smile that is painful to look at because you know it is absolutely fake and he is trying to put up his facade because he has to. Another thing is that he dresses extremely unprofessionally. His clothes are way too tight and things that only his wife should see are not left to the imagination with his patients. Honestly I was disgusted by it when I saw him for the first time. Also on my first visit (I have a plethora of health problems that I have little control over like herniated discs with sciatica and two back surgeries and kidney stones, etc.) he literally flat out told me that "I made his heart sad." seriously who says that to another human being for things they can't control, let alone a doctor to his patient? That really pissed me off and I essentially lost all respect for him as a human being let alone a doctor right then at that moment. He also requires a doctor's visit to refill essential maintenance drugs like blood pressure and antidepressant medications, because all he wants is your money, nothing more, nothing less. Overall he is a terrible doctor that cares nothing for his patients and only cares about money and his bottom line. Honestly should not be in practice. I set up appointment for side effects to some medication he prescribed. I owed a balance of $80 that the insurance didn't cover from a previous visit. I was refused treatment unless I paid this balance. I have been going to Dr. Mosch since 2008. I promptly left after being refused to treat. I will go to another doctor that values his patients and treats them with dignity and respect. Honestly, no one has ever owed balance but sick and can't afford it? My entire family is seen at Dr. Mosch's office. We have been at his office for 10 years. The office staff, PAs and Dr. Mosch are amazing. They take the time to actually listen to their patients and we have never felt rushed. They are very accommodating with appointment times. I have been given several same day appointments as well. They have taken excellent care of us!!!

Always accommodating and the PA's and NP's are well versed and very friendly. I have been coming to this practice for 20 years and never had any issues. Yes, sometimes they are slow, but it is expected when the quality is there. Only issues I have are with the patient portal: 1- Not easy to remember 2- Once in, it's not that easy to navigate.

My family and I have been going to this practice for 13 years. We have had nothing but great service and they have a friendly staff. My perscriptions are sent via the internet to my store of choice and are filled the same day. Dr Mosch, his Nurse- Practioners and PA's have been great.
