I had a new patient appointment scheduled for tomorrow (7/21) with Margaret Webster (that I made almost two weeks ago) and I received an email and text today that my appointment had been canceled. They didn't even bother to call me. So I called the office to ask about my appointment and instead of apologizing for the inconvenience the receptionist rudely gave me other options that are 2+ weeks out. I asked her why my appointment had been canceled and all she could say was “the doctor won’t be in”. You should have known that she wouldn’t be in or if she needed to cancel due to an emergency, at least call or make arrangements to have me seen by someone else. I own a medical practice and would never treat a patient this way. This office is rude and unprofessional and I opted to schedule elsewhere. They charged me $400 for a tele-med call that lasted maybe 10 minutes for the purpose of reviewing prescriptions. No upfront notice about costs for something that is completely routine. Called AdventHealth billing twice, and no one would even bother to pick up. I cancelled my care here, and will be moving to a better provider who is more transparent with their business practices. In my opinion, this organization is just leeching as much money as they can from people. When I called the office, they simply quote policy, but offered to have my charges audited (a 2-3 week process), so just be aware that's how they handle their complaints as well. Dr. Dumbacher is thorough, but not all of the staff knows what they are doing. Claims were coded incorrectly. My physical turned into a sick patient visit (I expressed that I was feeling “tired”) which I had to pay for and then I never received a physical for preventative insurance purposes. Make sure you know what you are getting.

Dr. Dumbacher is an excellent and caring physician. She always strives to provide her patients with the best of care.

I would give 0 stars but it don't have that choice. I had my appointment on August 17 and I had my blood work done on August 24. The lab sent the results to the doctor's office on the August 27. No one called me so toward mid September I went on their website and there was a note on my account: "All lab tests are within normal. Thank you and see you next year." I emailed them asking them for a copy of my lab work and if there are no concerns about my lab work results. I received no response to my email so I called the office. When I called in, I was told they didn't receive the results from the lab and that they will call them. I called back a week later: they received it just that morning and the doctor will call me with the results after reviewing it. Fast forward another week: no one called. I called in again and was told by the front desk that the results were in for a while and didn't know why no one has called me. Finally got a call from someone who told me that they received my results today??? and that the doctor reviewed the results. No problems: just my cholesterol is high so do not eat animal products. It took them a month to get back to me with my lab test results after I called in several times. I would give 0 stars but it don't have that choice. It's often very difficult to get through via phone, but the staff and Dr. Dumbacher are worth the effort to keep calling until you do. Can't speak highly enough of the kind, knowledgeable, and friendly staff in this office, or of Dr. Dumbacher. She is an excellent listener and looks at the whole picture of a patient's life, and shows great compassion in treating her patients. The staff go the extra mile to answer questions and meet your needs. Would highly recommend this doctor's office! Dr Dumbacher is probably the best family physician I have ever seen. She spends ample time with you discussing your health. She is very honest and doesn't hold anything back. I love that!! She is a wonderful Christian woman whom I pray I can keep as my Dr but have as a friend for many years to come. Doctor Dumbacher is kind, compassionate, professional, knowledgeable and treats patients as she would treat herself!!!! Highly recommend!

First visit with Dr. Dumbacher - such a helpful and caring staff!! Dr. Dumbacher thoroughly reviewed my tests and discussed my options. Looking forward to a long term relationship with such a wonderful Doctor and person!! Loved her desire and willingness to pray with me at the end of the visit!!
