I had a severe eye injury and he treeted me in a warm welcoming way.

Earlier this year I visited and was examined by Dr Newsom for new prescription eye glasses. I had seen him twice before with above average results, but this time he was distinctly different in his attitude toward me. He spent a total of about 10 minutes with me (I'm in a wheelchair). He charged my Medicare insurance plan and received $137 for my brief visit with him. Also, his prescription for me wasn't as accurate as one I received from an Optometrist at Visionworks three months later as I needed a new pair of glasses. Finally, Wal-Mart usually charges $50 for an eye exam, so I might have to take this up with Medicare Fraud!

Great place. Warm, helpful and wonderful staff.

My son had a serious eye injury, and Dr. Newsome some him everyday for five days to monitor his improvement, even when he was closed- on Sunday! That is how dedicated he is to his patients. Our family is forever indebted to he and his staff! They are the best people!

Dr Newsom was very knowledgeable about my specific diagnosis and spent the time to explain it to me. He was very professional yet friendly. He made me feel comfortable and welcomed.
