Great doc, really knows his stuff. About 15 years ago he fixed our son's hand, which was really messed up. We've gone to him for stuff ever since. (But watch out for his handshake, he'll crush it ;-)

Waited weeks for appointment and when I got there they told me the appointment was canceled after I drove 33 miles

Dr. Thull is on time and an excellent doctor--thorough, wastes no time but gives time. He is intelligent and tells you what is happening in a straight forward manner. I recommend him highly.

Super friendly, kind & compassionate staff. Dr. Thull is an outstanding doctor, he's knowledgeable and gets right to the point. It's also very convenient that the medical imaging is in the same building. I'd recommend this office to anyone!

Today is the first time I'd ever met Dr. Thull, as my family doctor referred me to him. Because of the problem I was having with my hand, he sent me to X-ray. Turns out it was Osteoarthritis. Not to diminish the severity of osteoarthritis, but glad it wasn't something worse. Dr. Thull explained what to do, to diminish the pain. Dr. Thull knew what he was talking about, very knowledgeable, and very personable. That's what I like in a doctor, and will definitely see him again if the problem were to get worse. Dr. Thull is the best! My hand surgery went very well and the postop isn't as bad as I anticipated. Everyone in the office has been friendly and helpful. Dr. Thull is very nice and easy to talk to. He truly takes the time with the patient and is very thorough. Highly recommended! ????

Paul was able to apply for grant for injection that was used. His wound was still open and bleeding, but he didn't complain much about pain. One finger was not fixed.

Amazing Dr and very nice man. Office is managed very well and it was easy to schedule appt. Would definitely recommend.

Dr. Thull was great. He was on time and upon immediate inspection of my finger, knew exactly what was wrong and rectified the issue. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Thull has performed a carpal tunnel release as well as an arthrodesis for me. As background I have a congenital joint disorder and have had multiple ortho surgeons and I’m also a nurse who knows a lot of surgeons in Phoenix. He is hands down, pun intended, the best hand surgeon in the Valley. I am so glad I got referred to him and will not go to anyone else for any hand or upper extremity surgery. I had an appointment with Dr Thull for 2:45 PM and arrived at 2:37. The lady in the front desk was very efficient and pleasant while checking me in. I was directed to go back in to a waiting room at 2:40. At 2:43 PM Dr. Thull came in to the room to examine my hand. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprise to have a doctor arrive before my appointment time. Dr Thull had a great bedside manner and diagnosed my hand issue within a few of minutes. He took the necessary medical action to relieve my pain that same day. I had a great experience with Dr Thull and his staff. I highly recommend him if you are in search for a hand specialist. Best doctor visits ever! Dr. Thull is extremely knowledgeable, explains condition and options, and allows time for decision making. He and his staff are very thorough, efficient and so pleasant. I am so glad he was recommended to me!

Dr. Thull can only be described with one single word: TERRIFIC! I was suffering from "Trigger Finger". Different fingers, on both hands were not functioning properly, not releasing when needed, and at times painful. Dr. Thull operated on both my hands, at different times, 1 year apart. The operation was a resounding success, and I survived without any problems. Dr. Thull cured me 100%! He is also a nice guy.

Dr David Thull is an excellent hand surgeon. He corrected my thumb through Arthrodesis and my wrist which I broke in a fall. It was comminuted in the fall too. After PT my wrist is back to full usage and flexibility. I haven’t started PT on my thumb yet.

Dr Thull and his staff are responsive and caring. He took every precaution to accommodate my allergies in surgery. You can tell he cares about his work and his patients comfort. I was referred here by my primary Dr and would refer others to him as well!

I saw Dr. Thull on 3/7/19 and I was so impressed with his kindness, humor and professionalism. He had me go to SMIL for Xray's for my elbow prior to seeing him and immediately had the results for me. His staff is the best I have ever encountered Tonya was beyond fantastic she got me into the office while I tried for 45 minutes to find a orthopedic surgeon who could see me right away no one could but Dr. Thull. Kailey at the front desk goes beyond the call of duty as does Lindsey.

My daughter saw Dr. Thull for a carpal boss on her hand. He was very abrupt with her, did not answer her questions. He proceeded to inject her hand with a local anesthetic and steroids; never got an x-ray. The pain was actually much worse for several days after the injection, so much so that we saw another provider who informed us that Dr. Thull should have gotten an x-ray to assist him with placing the medication in the correct space; his failure to do so resulted in the injection being administered in the wrong joint space. Her out of pocket expense for this procedure was $250. When my daughter attempted to speak with his office they would not return her phone calls and turned her over to collections. I contacted the office manager, Lindsey, who was exceptionally rude. When I voiced concern that my daughter was a student and had two medical bills to pay because we had to seek out care from another provider, Lindsey stated that we are responsible for the bill and that "poor service does not mean that you don't have to pay your bill." Dr. Thull operated on me back in 2003 I tore my right rotator nearly in half and also my bicep tendon, he had done surgery on my left shoulder a few years earlier so I definitely wanted to go back to him. You did an amazing job on both. 14 years later my right shoulder and bicep have never been stronger and I do a lot of heavy weight lifting. if you need surgery I highly recommend him. Last year I used Dr. Thull when I developed trigger thumb in my right hand. Both Dr. Thull and his staff were as professional as could be. Dr. Thull's treatment was to try cortisone shots first before considering surgery (in my opinion) the most thoughtful scenario. The cortisone did not solve it and I did the short surgery to repair my thumb. After a very quick recovery, my thumb is perfect now. Unfortunately my left thumb has developed the same symptoms, so I am seeing Dr. Thull again to solve this side! Highly recommended. I was very impressed with Dr. Thull and his staff. I had a cyst that formed in my palm that was causing pain. I was able to get an appointment for the same week. I’ve had these cysts in the past but I was living in a different city at the time and the previous doctor went straight to surgery. Dr. Thull recommended trying to aspirate it first. It was a quick procedure and clearly more cost-effective than surgery. And there’s no down time! The procedure was not comfortable (I’m a big baby) but it was fast and saved me from having surgery. Dr. Thull kept me calm during the aspiration (again, I’m a baby, so I appreciated that he kept talking with me to keep my mind off it it). I highly recommend him! Dr Thull's office was able to get me in for an appointment quickly! (Had x-rays in the same building) and my hand was put in a comfortable splint that stopped the pain of a broken bone in my hand immediately. They are dishonest! my wife quit her job there because the front office girl accused her of stealing. no evidence against her and was told to come pick up her check where there was 2 cops waiting for her. they took her in and released her do to no evidence. Excellent doc

Excellent physician! I saw Dr. Thull this week due to right hand numbness. I have a previous history of issues with my neck. I had ACDF surgery in 2012. I have seen several specialists and Dr. Thull is the only professional I have seen that actually listened to me with a genuine ear. His office staff was extremely professional and upbeat. I did not have to wait to be seen and he spent as much time as I needed to review my history and answer ALL of my questions. He is a GEM for sure. Excellent physician! Dr. Thull helped my son after he had an injury with his right hand finger. He attached that finger back and it healed amazingly. My son was able to play tennis quick after surgery and won many matches. I highly recommend Dr. Thull to all my friends.

Went to this Doctor on April the fourteen , he check my hand , send me to do xrays an the end he find out the I have d'quervain disease so he put me a shot and prescribe pain medicine, week latet noticed my hand still with same pain and no relieve at all , call for a follow up wich a have to paid $72 dollars and was ok but they told me also hasto paid the shot from las visit and did not have the money for that so they denied to see me and also denied to give a prescription for the pain the I have.. My bill was not past due i believe I have 30 days to pay it and today is April 26 so just 12 days.. I guess the patience health or pain does not their priority. After spending an hour and a half on the phone trying to find an Orthopedist who could see me after injuring my hand yesterday, Dr. Thull's office got me in. The office personnel are friendly and Dr. Thull was awesome. I highly recommend him for anyone needing help in this area. Even though I was squeezed in at the last minute, I was in and out of the office with X-rays completed in a little over an hour. One of the best Dr. visits I've ever had. Thanks so much!!!
