Dr. David Weinstock

Dr. Weinstock was great, his staff was very nice and made me feel welcomed. would recommend him!!

Dr. David Weinstock is the most arrogant person I have ever met. He is very condescending. He thinks he knows everything and he will not let you get a word in if it is not aligning with what he wants you to say. He will do everything in his power to make you feel stupid or call you disrespectful if you dare stand up to him or call him up on things that he presents that is not true even if you have proof. When you do present receipts that prove that you are right, he quickly sweeps it under the rug or just ignores it. His reports to the court do not anywhere come close to what transpired in sessions with him. I am quite sure if someone were to do an investigation on him, a lot would come to light.

Traumatic experience. This man is arrogant and has zero compassion for women. He criticized me for separating from my NEX In an effort to provide more stability. He was prone to believing the lying patient and allowed me to continue to be railroaded by a dominant lying NEX. His doctor believes that he is above the situation and knows exactly who’s doing what and he seems more inclined to blame the female I frequently got blamed for things that my ex did and then when I took the time to prove that I was not the offender it was swept quickly under the carpet

Dr. Weinstock performed a custody evaluation on our family and had such an imbalanced bias that he was unable to explain his recommendations. In fact, there is evidence that he violated several psychologist code of ethics and a complaint to his licensing board was filed. If you care about your family, stay far away from this man.

My ex and I both agreed to have Dr. Weinstock perform an evaluation that was to be used in court to help determine custody and decision making. My ex had a litany of accusations that we had to discuss and provide any supporting or contradicting facts. Dr. Weinstock spoke to teachers, counselors we used, and obviously our own interviews. He put together a fact-based report that highlighted the inconsistencies from my ex and it helped my case. I would agree with one of the reviewers that he is blunt and he was all about getting details. If you choose Dr. Weinstock, be prepared to focus on facts and provide supporting information. None of these evaluators are cheap but he kept the costs as reasonable as could be expected and produced a quality report. I didn't agree with everything in the report but it was definitely fair and pretty accurate all around. I highly recommend Dr. Weinstock and wish all of you the best of luck... if you are at this point you need someone fair and knowledgeable.

If asked to write a review during my evaluation process, it would be lower. However this is the nature of forensic counseling. He is not there to validate during appts. His report validated my positions in our divorce and helped me gain my freedom from coercive controlling ex. He takes time to assure his report is in best interest of kids. His recommendations for decision making and parent behavior change (on both our parts) has greatly helped our high-needs son and daughter. Trust the process.

He was hard to get into see, but it was worth it. He quickly sized up our needs, gave great advice, and sent us on our way. He didn't try to have us return again and again. He was blunt, to the point, and very helpful. Our daughter really liked his 'therapy dog.'

Dr. Weinstock really tries to understand both sides of a conflict and works to be fair to both; not an easy stunt when two adults have serious challenges with one another and our kids are in the middle.

Dr. Weinstock is an advocate for children and is not afraid to address and challenge the family problems affecting the child
