Words cannot express how grateful I am to Dr. Isaacs and his staff. He works miracles in relieving pain. I was suffering with back pain for years and Dr. Isaacs kept me going for as long as possible until I had surgery. He continues to help keep me aligned and provide relief when needed. I have seen Dr Isaacs for 22 years. I had a bad head injury in 1997. I did not find him until 1999. He is amazing! He utilizes well over 25 years of neurology , and over 2 decades of osteopathic. He has more knowledge than any osteopath out there knowing the nervous system, all discs, muscles, bones, etc and how to properly treat patients for many illnesses. Mine include, head, neck, back and extremity injuries. He has saved my life many times. I am not suicidal; however my pain from injuries was the worst I have been thru! He took me off of meds that I didn’t need. He’s very compassionate. I always leave his office pleased, out of pain, have better control of functioning in every way! He strives to instill positivity to let his patients know they can and are capable of living and working a more fulfilled life. I have recommended my family and friends whom he has helped as well. He does not keep you coming like chiropractors. He has 100% of my trust. Thank you Dr Isaacs!

Absolutely the best for back pain. Very caring and a great diagnostician.

I had such excruciating pain in my lower back that I finally understood how people can be addicted to opiates. I was referred to and saw Dr. Isaacs. It was a night and day turnaround. I recommend him every chance I get, he and his staff are amazing. I am forever grateful.

Dr. Isaacs is THE BEST neurologist in Richmond. After a severe car accident years ago that left me with both cervical and lower back problems he has been helping me deal with the chronic pain. I go into the office with crippling pain and within 15 minutes I walk out with none. He is kind, compassionate and funny too!

Dr. Isaacs greatly eased my neck pain, and gave me a possible diagnosis after viewing neuro testing which been performed in Florida, where I now live. The tests consisted of 2 MRI’s & a CAT SCAN. After viewing the results, Dr. Isaacs mentioned a possible diagnosis which appears to be very realistic. I will be seeing him again, for his follow-up treatment and recommendation for further treatment.

Dr. Issacs is the only doctor who has helped relieve my back pain in all the years I have suffered from chronic pain. His method has drastically improved the quality of my life and I am so grateful to him!

Dr. Isaacs committment in diagnosing mine, or yours, health problem(s) are genuine. He does not lack in compassion toward you as a patient. Why?, He's been one too. He understands we are all different and are looking to him for help with our particular condition. Sometimes he may not have the answers. I found out personally one of my conditions needed a 2nd look. He invited me into his office , made a phone call. I had an appointment with another specialist the next Day. I recommend him. AAA+

After a series of life, auto accidents, hurting myself at work and at home injuries, my doctor sent me to see Dr. Isaacs. This was back in 1993. I couldn't walk. My L5S1 was shattered. I had three discs in my neck that were in ruff shape. Dr. Isaacs kept me off the surgical table for two years. I finally had no choice but to get my neck fixed and I don't regret that. It's 2014 and My lower back had never had surgery on it and I have this wonderful man to thank for this. I have recommended him over the years to many people who have had positive effects from this man's medical practices. He cares for the patient and is far from a snake oil salesman. Thanks Doc! My husband was in a bad car wreck in 1983 that ruined his back. For three years he was treated at UVA hospital and by a chiropractor with no relief. A lawyer told us there was a doctor in Richmond that was "fixing people who couldn't be fixed." This was Dr. Isaacs. Despite the fact we lived three hours away, we made the trek and it changed my husband's life, for Dr. Isaacs did indeed "fix him." It didn't happen overnight, but it did happen. Far from being the "snake oil salesman" described by the other reviewer, Dr. Isaacs is a gifted, compassionate physician (neurologist, in fact) who has developed a unique method of skeletal manipulation that works to heal. The reason he doesn't accept insurance is that the insurance companies don't understand what he does -- there is no category for "medical magic." My husband's back has been healed for years and he has been able to have a physically demanding career. Every now and then he will do something stupid -- like try to lift a four wheeler by himself -- and back to Dr. Isaacs he goes with positive results. Dr. Isaacs has also helped our children -- one after a fall from a horse, one after a skiing accident, another after a car wreck. We can't say enough positive things about this doctor who gave my husband another shot at a normal life. Maybe what the lawyer told us is the takeaway: Dr. Isaacs fixes people who can't be fixed.
