Mr. Louis Duchin

I saw Dr Duchin for several years and he was very helpful. Then he said they weren't going to be accepting Medicare anymore. I was very upset, But he told me not to worry that he would work with me and I could still see him as my Dr. Then he stopped taking my calls I tried calling for weeks leaving messages on the voicemail. I finally had to find another Dr. So that I could continue the several medications I was on. This very unprofessional Dr. would not even return calls from my new Dr to get my records. So she could treat me. My new Dr said she had never seen a physician act this way. I guess the current terminology is he "Ghosted" me. If he didn't want to work with me because of the insurance issue that is something I can understand and would have thanked him for his help and found another Dr However he just lied to me and then refused to return a call to me or another physician. Thankfully I am very happy with my Dr now. But this man needs to be reported to the ethics board or whatever you report Dr's to. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DANGEROUS!

I have been seeing Dr D for many years and I can without a doubt say that he's the best, kindest Doctor I've been comfortable with. He listens and Tyler is the best too. Always someone to talk to if you even just need to talk to. They are My Christian family, I love all of them.

The employees at this practice NEVER answer the phone. I don't get it! Isn't the purpose of a business to provide a needed/wanted service? When you can't ever make an appointment or reach someone when calling the practice it leads people & potential customers/patients to believe it is not a functioning business, or at least one I don't want to spend my money at or receive medical care from. The fact that this medical practice NEVER answers the phone, screens calls, & NEVER calls back/follows up on messages, leads me to conclude the care here can't be that great... which is a shame because based on reviews it sounds like Dr. Duchin is a wonderful doctor. It's too bad I will never have the opportunity to discover this... unless things miraculously change & someone picks up a phone when on the clock. I have been seeing Dr Duchin for about 4 years. He spends time to really listen to me. I recommend him to everyone that needs a psychiatrist. I have been to others before but he is the best. I discovered him when I was going for a vivitrol shot. I doesn’t charge astronomical prices for the shot like dr. Bright. My mother likes him slot but couldn’t continue because it’s out of the way for her. His receptionist Tyler is one of the nicest and kindest people I have ever met. I’ve been seeing Dr Duchin for over two years. In my humble opinion, he is one of the finest doctors in his specialty I have ever had the pleasure of being treated by. He is VERY personable and has a real and sustained interest in helping his patients. He also has a great sense humor. I highly recommend him

This man helped me with my mental health, and helped me as a psychiatrist. He seems ti be a great man. And he's very knowledgeable. But he gave me access to Suboxone a little too easily.

Ms. Erin Snipes please educate yourself about health insurance before giving out a one-star rating on a physician. If you were to work with an insurance company for one day, you would clearly see the difficulty in obtaining authorizations. Dr. Duchin and Tyler are great. This is a very small operation which is a benefit to all patients.

They r.the.most compatient understanding professionals in the medical field that I have ever known it has this family feel I wouldn't trust my thoughts or health with anyone else thank u Dr Duchian and Tyler u r most definitely one of a kind don't ever change God bless

Dr. Duchin and Tyler are both genuinely great people. I always feel comfortable, I’m comfortable seeing Dr. Duchin and he has helped me in more ways then one. He’s kind and caring, and nonjudgmental. I’ve been seeing him for 2 years, and I wouldn’t change a thing. Drive about 45 mins once a month. Wonderful establishment.

Dr. Duchin is the best doctor I have ever been to. If you are open and honest with him he will treat you right. He is very understanding and caring to me and my family. I will always return to him regardless of how far I have to travel. I live in Lynchburg and it's s about a 2-2 1/2 hour drive, but well worth it. He has helped me and my husband in so many ways. Dr. Duchin is a fanominal and compassionate physician. He takes time with his patients. This may require you to wait a little. It is way more than worth it. I have never left an appointment with him when I did not feel encouraged. I truly thank God for Dr. Duchin.

After 10 years of being basically ignored at my visits and being handed yet another prescription to try, I am so thankful to find a doctor that actually spends quality time with me. Dr. Duchin is truly invested in my mental health and gives me the time I need at each visit, and I have never even once been rushed like cattle through his office. His compassionate, patient and empathetic approach, has been a blessing to myself and my family. If you are tired of your psychiatrist ignoring you, and handing you pills as if they alone will "cure" you, this is the doctor for you! I have been seeing this doctor for about 2 years and now they are not accepting any insurance patients, only accepting cash only. They are refusing to do any preauthorizations for certain medications mainly there most frequent client base which is opiod maintence. I had a very unprofessional experience with the staff and was classified as "you people" due to me being on maintenance medication while pregnant and was told they do not want to take the time to do the paperwork for a patient that pays for a service. It is a convienence issue and I stated that not rudely and that I would probably need to be in search of a new doctor. Leah Montegomery decided to raise her voice and say very rude and unessscary comments and said I was ignorant because I don't know how my insurance works, which I do . I go to a psychiatrist to feel safe and be in a safe environment and I felt the least comfortable after she judged and berated me over there neglect to do paper work and giving me the run around on why they don't do preauthorizations. I am in shock at her unprofessional behavior today and to speak to a patient the way she did and would not recommend any patients looking for treatment to go to trinity mental health.
