Dr. Elizabeth Jane Carey

Dr. Carey is the worst kind of doctor because she comes across as knowledgable and has a mild bedside manner; when in reality she is very apathetic and uncaring. She is not interested in her patients as beings, only as people she might enlist in a clinical study. She will take down your symptoms, but does not care to discuss how to reduce or alleviate them. She will not suggest any course of action and if you ask about any lab results, she refers you to the patient portal; as though you are a doctor and can interpret them?! In addition she does not read her patients files carefully enough to familiarize herself with previous test results etc, thus entering erroneous information in the chart and not having a clear treatment plan. She and her patients would be better off if she had chosen a different profession...

My recent experience with Dr Carey is that she was a great listener and excellent at explaining a very complex medical issue I was experiencing. I highly recommend her.
