My family have gone to see Dr.Hinkes since 2009 for 10+ different injuries and 3 surgeries. Each time they have been accommodating. Dr.Hinkes is very knowledgeable and makes sure you understand the severity of your injury or concern and how it may affect your life. I feel reassurance going to see him after any bone or muscle injury.

Dr. Hinkes has always gone above and beyond to take care of not only myself but my husband as well. He's taken time over the years to explain what may be causing my knee pain and offered solutions in a reassuring way. Above 5 stars!

My first visit was great, just waited a little longer than I anticipated.

I have been seeing Dr. Hinkes for more than 15 years and he's always had the best bedside manners, and is very personable. He makes me feel at home, asks about our family which puts me at ease. He's a no nonsense kind of doctor. Just tells me straight what we need to do to get the fastest relief, that's always the safe option. I felt like the Dr. was annoyed that I was there. He obviously had no idea why I was in pain. He seemed cold and uncaring to me.

Dr. Hinkies and his staff were extremely accommodating. I am on oxygen and need to see my doctors in a timely manor and this happened.

Excellent

Dr. Hinkes is an excellent, knowledgeable and compassionate orthopedic physician and surgeon who is dedicated to the care of his patients.

Dr Hinkes treated me for a nasty leg fracture below the knee. Because of the nature of the injury and some complicating health issues, I was not a good candidate for surgery. For 3 months, Dr Hinkes guided me through stages of various braces, X-rays, and finally physical therapy. The therapists were wonderful! Caring, dedicated, and thorough, they have brought me to the point to where I am walking once again with no limp! As a senior citizen, I am so grateful to him and his staff!!

In my opinion Elliott Hinkes does not even deserve a Zero Star rating.

Dr. Hinkess gave me two shots that cured my bursitis within hours. I could not be more pleased.

Very professional, yet personable. Listened to your issues, and gave you a selection of solutions. Highly recommend. The office staff was great also. Plus you get free writing pens. Bonus!

Doctor Hinkes has been my go to Orthopedic Surgeon for over a decade. My left knee has been problematic since I was 14. The last time I was there it was in 2013. Cortisone shot and I am decent. Highly recommend him. He is straight-up which is appreciated.

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Elliott Hinkes. I had been in a car accident back in November 2018 and was still experiencing pain in my neck, shoulder and having headaches. I made an appointment with Dr. Hinkes and when I met him in person I was pleasantly surprised at the care and attention he gave me. He genuinely cares about your well-being. He was very thorough in his check-up with me. He is very professional, friendly, and extremely attentive to what my concerns were. After my visit and his medical advice recommended physical therapy. I went to physical therapy there as well and his staff are definitely five star. I had my first visit with Bronson who gave me an extensive evaluation on what plan of care I needed. Through my physical therapy I worked with Bronson, Melonie and Sierra and they were not only very professional yet very kind and personable. I was shocked to see the negative review someone else wrote about Dr. Elliott HInkes as it was exactly the opposite of my experience. Dr. Elliott Hinkes is such a kind doctor and reminded me of the old-school traditional doctors who did not treat you as a number. Dr Hinkes was recommended to me by 2 other patients and I must say my experience meeting him twice has been informative and he has a caring nature. I had 2 shots and currently attending PT hopeful this will repair my shoulder pain. I liked him right from the start!

Very good doctor. Great at listening to his patients. Tries all treatment options and doesn't jump immediately to surgery unless it's truly the only option. Office staff is super friendly and helpful.

Dr. Hinkes is very polite and friendly. He listens to me and comes up with the best treatment option. I feel like he cares about my concerns because he does not rush me and he gives me options which is rare because most doctors just tell you what they want to do instead of asking you how you feel about their recommendations. I really trust him and I like him as a doctor.

I have been a patient for many years, he is a professional with great diagnostic ability, he has improved both mine and my husband’s quality of life without pain. I would not ever consider seeing anyone else. I highly recommend him. He also has a great staff of nurses and office staff. I have recommended him to friends, they all feel the same way I do in regards to Dr Hinkes and his practice.

Upon entering the office, the waiting area had NO distance. All the chairs were closer than the chair at my dining room table. Dr. Hinkes told me part of my problem, but didn't mention the most difficult part of my problem. I agreed with his decision because my primary gave me the same decisions.

He was wonderful as always and my cortisone shot is working. I have more options before surgery.

Over the years, I had a pain in my right elbow, couldn't use a knife or comb my hair, and woke up in the middle of the night with pain. Dr. Hinkes took care of it and after one visit I felt much better. After receiving a total of 2 treatments, I was almost able to return to my normal life. I highly recommend him! Dr. Hinkes is a clear communicator and doesn't waste time. I can get in and out quickly and have all of my options explained and offered.

Misdiagnosed as pulled muscles. After 2 weeks I find out I have a compression fracture. I called to get in right away and wasn’t called back. Maybe this doctor has to many patients. Don’t bother going!

I am sorry to say that I cannot recommend this Dr. I had such high expectations because when I booked the appointment with a lady named Helen, she was just so kind and understanding and really just went above and beyond to help me. Completely different story when I met Dr. Hinkes. I came prepared with all of my background medical history that would be relevant for an orthopedic visit and he didn’t even look at it; sort of rolled his eyes when I addressed the topic actually. As I was explaining what my concerns were, I felt as if he couldn’t be bothered, as if I was wasting his time. I repeatedly told him that I had previous injuries to some of the areas I was seeing him for, but it was very clear to me that he did not care. After I had x-rays, he told me that everything looked good and when I indicated to him that I was in pain and that everything was clearly not as it should be, as I know my body, he then asked me if I had had any previous injuries. That was an insult, as I had tried to address that topic with him at the beginning of the visit. So again, I tried to address and answer the question of previous injuries, to which he cut me off and again asked me, do you have any injuries? Really?! At that point, I repeated again my previous injuries and then he examined me and kind of lightened up and asked me about my job. But the damage had been done, and I pretty much left his office in tears. At what point in medical school do they stop teaching compassion? I had such high expectations and now I have to start all over again and waste more time and money. I truly hope that no other patient is made to feel the way he made me feel and I hope that one day, when he requires a doctor, that that individual will treat him with more kindness and compassion than he showed to me. From the first time I walked into Dr. Hinkes office to being discharged after physical therapy and the Dr's follow ups, I can honestly say that the service from Dr. Hinkes, his medical staff, clerical staff and physical therapists was top of the line. I was informed by Dr. Hinkes as to what would happen during the healing process, how long each procedure (ex: bone healing of six to eight weeks) and therapy to regain the function of my arm would take. The facilities were modern and clean and the wait time was brief. Dr. Hinkes is a compassionate physician who takes time and listens to his patients. His office staff are friendly and professional as well. What I like best is all services are available without having to drive around town. This includes Xray and imaging by his professional staff.

Dr. Hinkes has been great in treating a very painful issue with my shoulder. One of the most noticeable things about him was his respect for his patient's time. Some Dr.'s make you sit and wait for 20-30 minutes before they enter the room, however this was never my experience with Dr. Hinkes, within 5-7 minutes he was there and ready to go. The surgery on my shoulder was a success and I am now completing my physical therapy. Hopefully my right shoulder will back to normal fairly soon.
