I am 52 years old, had a reverse vasectomy one year ago using Dr. Friedman. It had been 21 years since my original vasectomy. Choosing a Doctor proved difficult, but all I can tell you is with Dr. Friedman you only need local Anastasia. (I met one Doctor who preferred full Anastasia). I got to witness my surgery first hand, and I remember the Doctor and nurse working so well together, they barely passed any words between them during my operation. To keep it short, my first test showed no sperm, 2nd test showed 500,000 sperm, and my third test showed 9,000,000 sperm. Then i got my wife pregnant soon after the third test. She is 31 years old and very healthy. Unfortunately she miscarried, (it was actually twins.....which of course hurt even more.). On the bright side woman who have a miscarriage are less likely to do so next time they get pregnant. In conclusion, Dr. Friedman can at times feel a little short when it comes to bedside manner, but I surmised his surgical skills were excellent and I was correct. Total fraud. This man did a reversal surgery and then had us take vitamins off his website and then another prescription. He kept telling us the results of the sperm count were inconclusive. He wanted to do another surgery, and every time we went in it was more money. Finally, after stringing us along and never calling with conclusive results again, we sought another opinion. This doctor at Newton Wellesley just told us there were no sperm and the test was clear and easy to read. I would never recommend Friedman to anyone, we just wasted 2 years of trying for a baby. I had a reversal approximately 3 years ago and had great sperm counts shortly after. It had been 8 years since my vasectomy. My baby boy is due in 5 weeks. So happy we chose Dr. Friedman to perform the reversal. Thank you!
