Absolutely horrific customer service. The other reviews regarding ignored messages are grossly understated. I was overcharged without my knowledge, consent or even a receipt. I had a bad reaction to treatment and received very little support and 0 follow up calls. I strongly recommend finding another facility to treat you for anything.

Highly recommend Nicole Miller for mental illness! She has been treating our young adult son who is on the Spectrum and has Schizophrenia. We have seen a huge improvement in our son. She is always in contact with me when I have had some bad situations with my son. She is caring and understanding. She has been a blessing to us. She is extremely knowledgeable about the brain and how all the medications work together. Our son had no help with his previous psychiatry doctor.

It is spring break and I have a trip planned and now can not leave until the crane center fills my prescriptions. Extremely disappointed in the way i have been treated and continue to be pushed off. Now closed I never received a call back nor did I get my medications refilled. Last time I needed my medications filled the same thing happened nobody would call me back. I have been on medications that you just cant stop taking and well they never refilled my prescription which caused me to have side effects from stopping cold turkey. I called to get refilled, I left voicemails for this prescription refill and never even got a call back. The rn who works for the doctor is the only person you will see. He is great and is the reason I have stayed. You will pay as if you are seeing the actual doctor but you wont. I have never even met him. I really hope they sort things out bc I really like the rn who has been responsible for my care. I do not want to leave the crane center due to the rn being so kind and helpful but at this point I cant even get meds filled and am very disappointed and left without medications needed.

I do not make a habit of posting reviews. I work for a small business, and I understand the impact they can have. That being said, anyone who cares about their mental health deserves a full picture. The Crane Center was unable to fulfill its most basic obligation: refilling my prescriptions on time. I experienced multiple lapses in medication for this reason. What's worse, they do not appear to have a dedicated receptionist, meaning all my calls went to voicemail. Towards the end of our relationship, I got in the habit of leaving messages for multiple people, in the hopes that one would get to it sooner. Perhaps most damning: when I went to terminate my relationship, I asked the Crane Center to refill my prescriptions. These prescriptions were not new, but SHOULD have already been sent to my pharmacy. In a previous conversation, I was assured that my prescriptions would be preserved for up to 2 months, should I seek a new provider. Instead, they chose to ignore my message. If I felt like my health was not a priority prior to this point, I certainly feel so now.

Highly recommend the office and staff at the Crane Center. Great team, welcoming atmosphere! I've repeatedly been seen here. Dr. Goldberg is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He listens, explains and truly cares about his patients and their recovery. I cannot say enough! I am thankful I choose him!

Do NOT go here if you’re looking for someone to coordinate treatment with other providers, work as a team, and be a proactive patient/health advocate. You’ll get overcharged and become a patient who falls through the cracks. The clinic is unorganized and was unable to obtain records from other doctors or communicate to the patient when there were barriers. It was clear the PA was not prepared and had not reviewed my chart before my appointment, then tried to charge me extra for the time used. There are great people who work there, but my overall experience for what I really needed was poor. I rarely, if ever, write bad reviews (this may literally be my first one), but the bad taste left in my mouth by the “treatment” I received there necessitated me to speak up. The clinic has SO much potential to add such a benefit to the Destin area by having professionals with different areas of expertise available. I sincerely hope they are able to develop the clinic into the full extent of potential they have.

I have mixed feelings. I used to go to that office, but often would see different providers. I saw a couple of the nurse practitioners, Dr. Ellen Vonden-something and Emilia I think. I liked them both, but I got great results with Emília Banse. I read some negative comments about having to see nurse practitioners but I feel they provided great care. I am not sure if they still work there, but I would definitely see Emilia again if I had to. My reviews are for Dr. Goldberg’s overall experience, but I would give the NPs 5 stars.

Eric Goldberg, D.O is the worst person I have ever dealt with in the medical field in regards to patient care. Cash only, and he requires the patient to be seen monthly in order for a thirty day prescription to be given, which is intentional. He over bills, and when questioned about over billing or care, he is confrontational, gives untruths and is uncaring. I feel he has never developed the much needed compassion for the patients in his practice. The Nurse Practitioner was the only provider seen in this office and is not available sometimes for designated appointment times. This is unacceptable when dealing with mental health clients and patients with anxiety issues "their specialty". From the actions shown by this office, I feel this practice does not deserve to practice medicine!

Dr. Goldberg has been a lifesaver for me. He has helped me through major life traumas and through several depressive episodes. I now understand my triggers and am able to manage my depression and anxiety. Thanks to Dr. Goldberg and his staff.

There’s a good reason this is the best psychiatrist in our area. However I find the one star ratings eye roll worthy because it clearly tells me people don’t do their own research as well. There isn’t a miracle working doctor of any sort that is going to know how someone needs to be treated since we all react differently. As adults you have a responsibility also, the doctor can’t be there to observe and fee what you or a family member feel.

They gave my child medication that was rated for an adult. She tried to commit suicide. They decided to send a letter stating they would no longer treat her. When I confronted him about it, he said his lawyer recommended him stop treating her to try to avoid a lawsuit. He had been treating my family for a while and the way it ended was so unprofessional. I am just glad my daughter lived through the overdose. She hasn't taken any medicine since that day.

He is quick to increase doses and doesn’t listen to concerns. He doesn’t take insurance so it’s $150 right upfront.

They don’t take health insurance so you pay $150 upfront for a 15 minute appointment to review how your medications are working and require you to come in monthly. More out-of-pocket expense since they are not in-network. You’ll see a nurse practitioner instead of Dr Goldberg. Not very helpful with coping skills and refer you to find your own mental health counselor.

Dr. Goldberg has a very good manner with all patients. He is of the most outstanding medical professionals that I have met. He has done wonders for me, and I have a high level of confidence in him, as well as the rest of his staff. Unfortunately his office cannot Bill Insurance directly so you have to submit the claim yourself. He also does very well in family scenarios. I truly am impressed with his insight. As far as I'm concerned he's the best money can buy.
