I found myself unable to move my neck and knew that though I have avoided going to a chiropractor after an accident in 2010, nothing else would correct my situation and give me relief. I did some research and received a lot of recommendations from friends and family including chiropractors that used no manipulation (which did not appeal to me) but finally settled for Dr. Schiffer. I contacted my insurance to see if he was in network and also gathered some more information about him including how long he has practiced as a chiropractor, 1979. He happened to have an opening that afternoon, so I went. He did all the initial checkup including x-rays. And then the manipulation. I felt some relief immediately but considering my neck had locked up so strongly I couldn't have expected anything better for the time being. I have since gone three times every second/third day for check ups and manipulation and noticed considerable improvement. A few more and I'll be all back to normal. Pros: Dr. Schiffer is very personable, approachable and calm mannered. He definitely is knowledgeable both in the theory/science and in the practice of the manipulations. I feel very comfortable with his expertise and experience. For me also it's conveniently close. Cons: not the most modern clinic decor but certainly clean and organized. Opened only three days a week. Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Highly recommend Dr. Schiffer.
