She is very cocky!!! When my cervix was obviously shortened we asked about a cerclage. She ignored our concerns and said she wasn't worried. At 26 weeks we had a pre mature baby that could have been full term except for Dr Clark's negligence. It wasn't her idea so she wasn't interested. Definitely would not recommend her to anyone.

My baby was diagnosed with Spina Bifida while I was pregnant. The minute that happened I had MANY doctors appointments. No one made eye contact. No one treated my baby as a baby - just a “case”. Until Dr Clark. She admired my daughters nose on the ultrasound. She asked about her name. She gave us hope! She successfully delivered my daughter through a high risk situation. My daughter is happy, healthy and strong. Thank you, Erin, for being the only one who didn’t push abortion or “low quality of life”. Thank you! I was distressed to learn that Dr. Clark made a third-party disclosure about me in a purely social setting. A mutually known individual approached me and told me about it, with good intentions and at some personal risk. Based on the level of detail, I am assured that it happened.

I overheard Dr. Clark state that she "stupidly went in for a delivery," with the implication that the timing inconvenienced her. Work-life balance is a thing, I am empathetic to that, but embedded in her communication was a steady barrage of little reminders that patients cramp her style.

Though we had some good moments with Dr. Clark, we found her testy or uncommunicative at times. There were bigger, more worrisome concerns as well as little things that bugged us. In what limited post-cesarean communication Dr. Clark did eventually engage in, she outright assumed (incorrectly) that I did not desire future children, which I thought strange; it's not the case or our plan. Additionally, I had problems with healing that happened to occur subsequent to our 6 week check-in. I reached out politely and Dr. Clark simply did not respond. (Incidentally, I did find help from one of the dermatologists at The U when I was at an annual derm visit and that doc immediately noticed and wanted to help.)

I had a disappointing experience with Dr. Clark. The co-pay to see her was a pretty penny, and wow her annoyance was palpable if we approached the 15 minute mark at a visit. I was also surprised by how much scheduling things around her vacations and personal fun had to occur. While Dr. Clark was not present, a resident Dr. Meredith Humphreys interacted with me more disrespectfully than any medical provider ever has. Honestly, it felt awful. I think Dr. Clark should've been supervising this resident more actively. Overall I am uncomfortable with how Dr. Clark treated me. Personally, I would not recommend her to others. I wish I could add lots more detail, but will leave things at that.

Needing a high-risk maternal fetal medicine doctor I was unsure where to look. I'm so glad I found Dr. Clark! She was amazing throughout my pregnancy with all the problems I had. She would come to my hospital room to check on me when I was admitted (multiple times), and after delivery she was constantly checking up on both my daughter and I. She explained the NICU process and what was to be expected when the hospital staff hadn't done so. She reassured me when I was worried and truly cared about my situation. She made recommendations for my future care and has been wonderful to work with. If you want the best possible experience through your pregnancy, then you want Dr. Clark. Having experienced a high risk pregnancy, an Emergency C-section and prolonged NICU time with my first child, who was born in Denver, I fully realize the necessity of an exceptional doctor and the difference that one makes. Therefore, I knew exactly what I was looking for in a provider with my most recent pregnancy, here in Utah. Dr. Erin Clark was everything I was looking for and then some. She is calm and in control, highly competent, compassionate and sincere, invested in her patients’ best interests, and a leader in her field. I have had a healthy baby with Dr. Clark, ask well as a baby with a fatal diagnosis who survived less than one hour. Dr. Clark was instrumental in both cases, but especially with the baby we lost. From the time of diagnosis (which she was able to catch early), to the time of delivery, there is not another person on earth we would have wanted as our provider. In our opinion, she is the best in her field.
