All you will here is that all of your problems stem from "the stomach being like a blender with no lid in the evening and not eating dinner will cure everything (ENT issues, arms, leg, back...)" Advised not to eat after 2PM and further said don't feed babies at night. It was 40 minutes into the appt when he even looked at my ear which was the reason for my visit. This was the worst doctor appt of my life, seek real medical attention elsewhere.

I am so lucky to have met Dr Stewart. He identified the root cause of my problem and after almost 6 months I feel good. I am extremely thankful to dr Stewart. I am very satisfied with the front office as well. Everything is great here. Thank you dr Stewart. ????

Avoid this man at all costs. He lies about his credentials, says he is a vet and a plastic surgeon and is incredibly unprofessional. His medical “advice” borders on the ridiculous and recommends treatments that are unnecessary. STAY AWAY, HE IS DANGEROUS!!

Worst ENT ever! I just don't see how anyone could think he a good doctor. Went to him for vertigo and he attributed it ( and every other health condition I have) to the fact that I eat dinner too close to bedtime. He said my stomach was like a blender without a lid and when I went to bed it ( the blender) got turned on spilling the contents of my stomach into my throat. He said this caused my bulging disks as well as several other conditions. Don't be fooled by the reviews on his website as I was. Find a different doctor.

Best ENT doctor, very friendly, knows his business very well, listens to his patients and advise of what to do and not do, we highly recommend him

My first impression of this office... not good. Now I see why they only have 3 stars. I was called right before my scheduled appointment, to reschedule(after requesting off work). I never received confirmation of my appointment and I was supposed to receive a new patient form... never got it. When asked if I would like to reschedule on Monday... I told them no I wouldn’t and will be taking my business else where. My time was not respected and with this being my first experience with this office I will not waist my time any further. He has found the root of the problem of continuous ear infection of my wife. After he performed surgery the problem is gone.

I can really tell that Dr. Stewart cares about his patients and explains the reasoning behind all his recommendations. If you are technical or analytical he is a good fit because he will explain everything without talking down to you.

I have a lot of experience with doctors. I have had multiple surgeries. I have spent almost all of 32 yrs in and out of doctor offices and hospitals. I can say without a doubt that Dr. Stewart is by far the best and most caring doctor I have ever met. He clearly wants you to live your best life heathy and feeling great. He explains things so perfectly and it makes 100% sense. I have suffered from migraines my whole life. I had cervical spine surgery bc they thought that could be what caused it. I have tried every medication shots to help with the migraines. But it wasn’t until I saw Dr. Stewart that he fully explained what was causing my migraines. It was a deviated septum and my acid reflux and timing of when I ate that was the true culprit. With his help and the surgery he has truly Changed my quality of life. I never thought I would be writing a review like this. I thought I would suffer from migraines my whole life. I can’t thank him enough and he is just happy he could help. I have a great experience with Dr Stewart he tells you the truth about your care ,and gets to the point of care he has great bed side care,I really like him.

What a waste of time and money! I waited two hours in the waiting room to find out that This man is insane!!! All he did was joke around and when I said I used an ear swab he said there’s no such thing as an ear swab what does it say on the box? So I said to him it says Q-tip and he said yes it’s a Q-tip and it’s not meant to go in your ear it’s not an ear swab there’s no such thing! He also said that candling was a scam when I know for a fact that it works it has removed a ton of wax from ears. He did anything except talk and joke and the worst thing that he did was He told me I was wearing my mask wrong and put his hands all over it and turned it in put it on me with the outside going against my nose and mouth where he had just touched it and I have been using it breathing in whatever contamination there was in the air! I don’t know what kind of a fool would do that! This man is like not a doctor in my opinion whatsoever! All he wanted to do was things that cost a lot of money.

BEWARE! If I could give a zero, I would. I went in for fluid behind my eardrum. Within two minutes he told me I had permanent damage in my sinus due to reflux and recommended surgery. Then he gave me a lecture about my stomach being like a blender with the lid off and that I should not eat 8 hours before bedtime. He attributed the problems in my ear to reflux as well. Note that I had an ear infection (my first since being a child 40 years ago) that had cleared up but there was still fluid remaining... to him it was all because of reflux. He did tell me what to do for my ear (Afrin dripped into my nose), and said if it wasn't gone in a week he would put tubes in my ears. I obviously did not go back, and my new ENT said I didn't need surgery or tubes and there was no reflux damage at all. I wonder how many needless surgeries this man has done. For your sake, find a different ENT.

It is very frustrating dealing with Dr. Fermin Stewart office. The front office and support staff is very rude and unsupportive. I’ve been waiting for the test to be ordered since last 2 week after my visit and even after several phone calls, there is no response.

Excerpts of My letter to Dr. Stewart - No response. I left your office that day trusting your office staff to take the next step and submit the necessary paperwork to my insurance carrier as you said they would. January 2018 rolls around and I have received no communication from your office. NONE. So, I called your office and imagine my shock and dismay to be told that your staff person, Chris, never got your order from the “new girl in the office,” and absolutely nothing had been done about my case since I left your office in November. I have no way of knowing if I was being told the truth or not, but I felt like a fool that I had put my trust in the competency and integrity of your office. In all my years of dealing with doctors and their office staff, I have NEVER had this happen to me. Chris reassured me that she would immediately get my case to the insurance company, but offered no explanation or apology. A few weeks again roll by, no word from your office! I followed up again, Chris advising me there was “a lot of paperwork” going back and forth from the carrier that she is having to complete, which seemed logical at the time. Since that time I have followed up every 2 weeks getting the same excuse, “so much paperwork.” Chris never returned any of the many messages I left for her. NEVER. On April 6th, now SIX MONTHS LATER, I called again and spoke with Chris who gave me the same speech, informing me that Cochlear actually are the ones to submit my request to the insurance company. So, if this is the truth, why had she told me she would get right on it and now was blaming the manufacturer! This didn’t make any sense, so, I felt I had to take matters into my own hands, found Cochlear’s number and called. That day, April 6th, is a day I will never forget. Angela at Cochlear’s insurance verification department looked in vain to find me in their system. Nothing under my maiden or married name, date of birth, etc. It was then I discovered that in spite of what your office had been telling me, Cochlear NEVER got my case! THEY NEVER GOT MY CASE! From November 2017 – April 2018, I was being lied to, deceived, strung along by your INCOMPETENT, UNCARING, AND DISHONEST office staff who I assume are under your supervision. For SIX MONTHS I’ve been believing all this would surely have a good outcome for me, that I was doing what I was supposed to do, believing you had spoken the truth to me. There are so many layers of hurt and frustration I’m enduring and I assure you, I will never trust your office again and will tell anyone who asks what cruel treatment I endured from your Suwanee office. What that office did to me was unprofessional to say the least, if not downright cruel. The day Cochlear got my case, that very day, they called your office, spoke to Chris and got my paperwork. They submitted my claim request to the insurance company on Monday April 9th. The very next day, we received a response from BCBS NC, DENIED! BCBS NC is categorizing the Baha as a hearing aid. I tried to call Chris, wanting to give her the benefit of the doubt and get her side of the story, but she never returned my calls. Cochlear, who knew nothing about me or my medical history had to be my advocate to the insurance company. They filed an appeal which was also denied just this week. The employees at Cochlear were more responsive and informative every time I reached out to them than your office ever was. Dr. Stewart did a good job on my surgery and was very informative. However his staff can be rude at times. In particular his receptionist Chris (female). Upon inquiring about my bill she became very short and was unconcerned. I asked why wasn't I informed of separate charges different from what Dr. Stewart charged and she told me it wasn't her responsibility to tell me and that pretty much it was common sense. She continued to talk over me a tell me I should've known and that in her 20 years at this job she's never had to break it down for someone. I've had one appt with Dr. Stewart...2 days ago. Dr. Stewart was very thorough and made me feel comfortable asking questions. He impressed me as a very knowledgeable ENT specialist that loves what he does!! Dr. Stewart took the time to go over my case...my options..pre-op,, what the surgery would entail and likelyhood of success. He also went over post OP and what to expect and a reasonable time frame of when I can get back to what I do! His office staff were friendly and locked me into the dates I needed for my surgery!! This was the worst experience I have had at a doctor and it left me in tears. I kept getting very painful sore throats only when I had a cold, so I went and saw him. He didn't even get a background, just started talking about how the stomach was like a blender, etc. His answer to my 3 painful sore throats in the last year (and only when I had a cold) was to stop eating dinner and only have it for special occasions. Also, I was pregnant, my second, and he told me that some women use it as an excuse to eat whatever they want. I was dumbstruck. How many babies has he carried? Dr. Stewart is thorough, and a great communicator. He takes time to answer the questions his patient poses, and later to explain the intricacies of his findings. His prescriptions work.

I really love this guy. I have been to a BUNCH OF DIFFERENT ENT's and he is BY FAR THE BEST ONE!!! There simply is no comparison. PERIOD. He spends way more time trying to educate me about the systems causing my problems. No other doctor I have been to does that!! He understands interfacing systems impact on the sinus' and that is a rare blessing to have him as no doctors try to study interfacing systems!!! This is a serious man with a high level of expertise. The only one I'll go to!!

Basically I had a good experience with Dr. Stewart. The reason for my rating is becase 2 weeks after my visit, I called the office to talk to the doctor. My call was attended by a lady named Christine. I mentioned to her I wanted to talk to the doctor because I though I may have something else, different from its diagnose. Without asking how I feel, and what was my case about, Christine said the doctor will not change his diagnose, and suggested I may go for a second opinion. I hate to post this bc I very much enjoy Dr Stewart and think he doesn't a phenomenal job but his receptionist is the WORST!! So rude. They are always 5 patients behind and pick and choose which people they will see first. Have to wait an hour each time I go there just to see the doctor. When I questioned the receptionist she whispered "I don't care" to the other staff and shut the window. Quite possibly the most uneducated women I've ever encountered in my life....gives deer in the headlights a whole new meaning. Love Dr. Stewart..he is a life saver. I was sick for six months and seeing another Dr. On my own I found Dr. Stewart and on my first visit he diagnosed me correctly and solved my problem with surgery. He went over my Scan in detail and pointed out the problem areas. He is an amazing surgeon, never rushes me when I see him in his office and is always friendly and professional. I refer anyone who needs an ENT Dr.to him. He takes the time to explain in detail how to avoid further problems. His staff is wonderful and in an urgent situation they will fit me into the schedule. Dr. Stewart was very knowledgeable and helpful. His staff was extremely hard to deal with and confrontational. Wish there was a way to let him know what is going on in his office:( We cancelled our surgery and looked elsewhere for another doctor to avoid dealing with unpleasant staff. Very frustrating to say the least.

We like the doctor but we boycott the office due to Office Manager who obviously hates her job. Every time we go there, we had to wait over 1 hour. She said she ordered the patient after our us to go first even though we arrived on time for our appointment. I suppose if you arrive "late" that another patient that follows can go in. This is how she was teaching her new 'trainee'. But, we were "on time" on the dot!!! She REFUSED to give me her last name when asked and ARGUED incessantly.

This doctor has no bed side manner and he's not professional at all. He acted like when I bleed for two day's and it was a lot of blood that it was no big deal. I had this stupid surgery in July 2016 and still my nose hurts and having more problems than before. He doesn't deserve any patients at all. I was told by an other doctor not to go back to him.

Thrilled to say Dr. Stewart is my doctor. I would follow him to the moon and back, he is that good. He is patient and addresses every question and concern. His diagnosis with me to date, has always been on target. As he advises you on what is wrong and it's cause, he then tells you how to fix it, and then how to prevent further problems from happening…and on top of that, I love that he prescribes medicine and tests "only" when needed. His office is equipped with the latest technology, giving his patients the best treatment out there. Finally, the office atmosphere is the perfect balance between friendly and professional. Dr. Stewart performed a Cochlear Implant in December 2015. The decision to have this Implant was the best decision that I could have possibly made. I am now able to hear sounds and understand conversation that was not possible before the surgery. Dr. Stewart is not only excellent in his field but, a true educator as well.

Dr. Stewart takes the time to educate you on habits that help you decide to look at your eating and sleeping habits that may have a direct affect on digestive system which may or may not be related to your swallowing and masticate your food, e.g., and time of day/night. He demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and apt interest in one's medical reason for being treated and diagnosed.
