Dr. William Holland Johnson JR.

I was referred to Dr. William Johnson at John’s Creek Surgery by my GI doctor - I had gone to do a consult with another surgeon to get an opinion prior to seeing Dr. Johnson, and once I did meet with Dr. Johnson yesterday I immediately knew this was the place I was meant to be. Dr. Johnson was so personable and kind, and did not make me feel rushed in any way, which I really appreciated. He took the time to answer all of my questions very thoroughly, including drawing me a picture/diagram on the paper on the exam table, which I wish I could have grabbed and taken home to frame, it was that good! Dr. Johnson was very good at explaining my options and the rationale behind each one which really helped me to make my decision. I will definitely be moving forward with Dr. Johnson for my surgery, very happy to have found him! Thank- you!

Everyone involved is very cordial, communicative and available if you have any questions at all. Very organized and professional.

Dr Johnson and staff are very helpful with everything. Meagan the dietitian is just as helpful. Would recommend them all.

First I want to say, having gastric bypass (RNY) on 3/11/19 has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Dr. William Johnson, dietitian Tracy, Nurses, and office staff was supportive, friendly, and caring. Dr. Johnson has a bedside manner that is encouraging and understanding. I did not make my decision lightly but when I did he offered his feedback to make sure I was making the right choice. The process wasn’t easy and I still have to work everyday to stay active. This has helped me to reset my mind and body to keep my on the right path, the healthy path. People like to say this was the easy way but what they don’t understand is you still have to work for it. This was not the easy way out. It was the right way out for me. Dr. Johnson, thank you for what you done for me. You and your staff will always have a special place in my heart. Everyone there was so nice and took the time to listen to me and answer all my questions. The nurses are amazing and are passionate about helping others. Dr Johnson is great! He made I sure I understood all my options and made me feel at ease about having my surgery.

I'm so impressed with this office, from the receptionist, confirmation calls and the very sweet and professional Dr. Johnson and his amazing rest of the staff, Courtney, Gabby, Megan and more. Thank you for making my daughter and I feel welcome and heard. We had a bunch of questions prepared for Dr and he listened to every last one of them and answered them in detail. What an educational moment. Thank you for helping us feel at ease with this very important decision as this is to help me fight for my life as I need a kidney transplant. Dr . Johnson and staff are FANTASTIC! Second day post op and very little discomfort.

Dr. Johnson has walked side by side with me on this 87 lb weight loss journey. He is professional, skilled, and very knowledgeable. He has done two other surgeries for me, and all went very well. Highly recommended.

I had a hernia repair surgery and Dr. Johnson & his staff (both in office and at the surgery center) were fantastic to work with. Dr. Johnson has a great bedside manner. His staff made surgery day as stress-free as possible and everything went very smooth.

Dr Johnson performed my gastric sleeve surgery and he is amazing, everyone in his office is so kind and explained everything to me about surgery and the process afterwards.

I just love the staff here. They are all so caring. They have an absolute positive outlook that is infectious!

Great place , even better people

My bariatric surgery was performed at Emory Johns Creek Hospital. This is my second time having a procedure done at this hospital and I have to say this is my hospital of choice. The staff is very nice and on the ball. You really have to wait for anything. Just a really good experience

Dr. Johnson was awesome. Explained each procedure so I could make an informed decision. He is very compassionate.

I have been a patient of Dr Johnson and his dietician Tracy for 8 years (surgery Mar '14). I have always received excellent care and am much healthier today thanks to them. I highly recommend this practice!

Dr. Johnson and his staff have done everything pre and post-op to ensure my success. They gave me the tools I needed, communicated clearly and set realistic expectations. They did their part; I’m doing my part. Three months post-op and I look and feel great!

Great place kind Staff

Dr. Johnson treated me with professionalism and friendliness. Each visit he took the time to answer all my questions as well as provide me with information regarding my needs. I saw 2 other Bariatric surgeons before Dr. Johnson and things didn’t work out. I am so grateful I waited for Dr. Johnson as I have no complaints whatsoever. Great experience! Office staff was professional and informative. Wait time was minimal. Dr. Johnson was very knowledgable and knew what my symtoms were imediately and recommended a treatment plan that was well thought out and strategic. I would highly recommend this practice.

This team is a well oiled machine they have everything down to a T. They are kind and helpful even when you forget information they have told you a few times. They understand you are going through a life changing event.

I can’t say enough about Dr. Johnson and his team. He is first rate, excellent communication, and a very practical approach to the various procedures. Anyone considering a VSG should NOT hesitate to have him perform the procedure so long as you are really ready to live a new life which I highly encourage. He has performed procedures on my veins and he is equally gifted. His office staff is very good with respect to all aspects, appointments, insurance, billing, and very welcoming. Courtney, his nurse, is delightful and is always joyful. Truly a pleasure to experience her approach each time.

I am so grateful to Dr. Johnson and his staff. I received amazing care and my life has changed for the better in every way! If you are considering bariatric surgery, I highly recommend Dr. Johnson!

Dr. Johnson is an excellent surgeon. Dr. Johnson explains everything about my surgery and answered on all my questions about it. He was so accommodating to my problem with gallbladder and hernia. His staff is also very professional beginning with the front office. Dr. Johnson explained me everything about my surgery, recovery time I'm right now and answered all my questions. I had follow up visit last Tuesday. Dr Johnson find out some side effect and fixed it right away by himself. His nurse Emily is very knowledgeable and skilled. On Wednesday I had to do to change the dressing by myself but I couldn't do it. I called the office and Emily told me to come over to show me again how to do it without appointment! Now I'm doing this by myself. His office staff is professional and very friendly. Thank you very much Dr. Johnson, Emily and your office staff for taking good care of me. I highly recommend Dr. Johnson.

Dr William Johnson did a great job on my hernia. I would recommend him to anybody. His staff in the office gives excellent service.

Dr. Johnson is very likeable, respectful, and assertive. I was very comfortable discussing my issue with him and he listened intently to me. He provided a diagnosis forme and assured me did not need or require surgery for my issue. He obtained a diagnostic test report while a waited and discussed that before ending my visit.

Suburb care and treatment. I flew out here to get care specifically from Dr. Johnson. I would do it again. I have been so thrilled with my results and I love that he managed to hide the scars in my navel. SILS made it so that It's all hidden away! I love that I don't have to look at a bunch of ugly scars, marring my feelings about my weight loss. Wonderful care from the Dr.

Dr Johnson is very knowledgeable about the different bariatric surgery procedures and offers his recommendations based upon your evaluation. Answered all my questions thoroughly. I never felt ashamed or embarrassed during my entire consultation. His office staff is very thorough in explaining the process so that you are completely aware of your obligations before hand. No stone was left unturned. I am so excited to have my procedure done very soon.

Dr Johnson, John’s Creek Surgery Center, and Atlanta Bariatrics have been excellent. The telehealth appointments are a real time saver.

Dr. Johnson is the greatest! He is knowledgeable and he gives you the opportunity to ask questions. The office staff is awesome! I'm very pleased with my results and I'm happy I chose John's Creek Bariatrics.

Dr Johnson is a very through and concerned Dr. I had every clearance getting ready for my Bariatric sleeve surgery. I highly recommend him. Good bedside manner, he answers all your questions. Nice office and staff too.

I have been working with this team for over 9 years now. Every interaction, every single one, is super positive, upbeat and leaves you smiling. I cannot imagine how much harder it would have been to lose over 200 pounds and keep it off without their support, guidance and smiles. I waited too long, but am in the best shape of my life and have added decades to it.

I love how organized my consultation was. Literally I knew everything I needed to know before I left the office, including billing.

Had gallbladder surgery with this Dr. Had urine sample taken before surgery, and it showed a UTI. He never prescribed medication for it. He was super late for the surgery which resulted in me being rushed out to go home even though me and my caregiver were very uncomfortable with my level of pain. They didn't send me home with the tool I needed to have to help with breathing after surgery. I was home in bed two days, when I spiked a 104 fever. Called Dr and he told my husband not to worry and no need for ER. We went anyway to find out I had infection in my lungs, and a kidney infection from the untreated UTI. They admitted me to the hospital. During my stay, he would visit, and call me "dramatic" and made me feel so uncomfortable. Said I didn't have pnemonia when the second x-ray confirmed it again for him. My kidney infection was so bad I had to have three IV antibiotics. I had to request to have him off my case because he was so mean and undermining to me. I stayed in the hospital 8 days!! I had three small children at home and it was absolutely the worst experience with a health care professional I have ever had. I would never recommend this Dr. To anyone!
