Gurvinder S Shaheed

It's been several years since I took my dad to see Dr. Shaheed but I wanted to leave another review. He is EXCEPTIONAL!!! Very caring as was his staff, managed to get my dad's lung cancer to a minimum and my dad was no longer wheelchair bound. Dad was able to once again drive, pay his bills, live life. Unfortunately mini strokes took my dad away. My dad initially saw a Sutter doctor who did not care that my dad had ascites in both legs, that he was incoherent and basically not living. Dr. Shaheed brought my dad back to living and I appreciate Dr. Shaheed and his staff for that!!! They are WONDERFUL!!!

I am extremely pleased with the care I've received from Dr. Shaheed. He always has a solution or suggestion for the myriad of side effects I got from chemo. He keeps updated on cancer treatments. Very knowledgeable and kind. When cancer patients talk about their oncologist, Dr. Shaheed's are very, very pleased. Not so much with other oncologists. He is highly recommended!!

Dr. Shaheed is a remarkable physician! His personality is one of kindness, understanding, and truly engages with his patients as an equal. He always asks about family and how the patient is doing. He is intelligent , articulate and talks to the patient using words that all patients can understand. I am so grateful that he is my doctor!

Dr. Shaheed could/would not answer several questions as to my treatment for breast cancer. I am not following his recommendations, but, pursuing treatment elsewhere. Candy is offered at receptionist desk, cancer loves sugar.

Dr. Shaheed is one of the most caring, kind doctor's I have ever had care for me. He got me through my breast cancer and was very attentive while being completely professional. He truly cares for his patients and took time with me, answering all my questions and instilling a calmness in me I really needed to get through my ordeal. I gladly drove 948 miles each way for my final visit and I whole-heartedly recommend him.

Dr. Shaheed came into my life when I needed a calm, encouraging, and positive voice at a very scary diagnosis of breast cancer. He takes time with you and fits your treatments to you and your diagnosis. I feel very blessed to have him as my oncologist.

Dr. Shaheed is a wonderful physician. I've been a patient of his for many years. He is very thorough, he takes his time to go over things with me and he's personable and yet professional.. Dr. Shaheed's staff has always been professional and pleasant.
