Dr. Husain Arastu

Zero Stars!!! I put one because it made me pick but I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! I was concerned about how fast and hard my sons heart was beating when he was 3 months old and he told me my son just has a strong heart beat. When my son turned 14 months I took him for a second opinion (Dr. Catalan) because I was concerned and right away she told me he has a heart murmur and referred me to a cardiologist specialist (Dr. Parkinkova). Who then told me my son has Trans disposition of the great arteries (TGA) and would need open heart surgery to fix it. Which he was supposed to get at 4-6 months old. And that if I hadn’t come to her when I did my son wouldn’t have lived past 3 years old. And when I confronted him about it he just blatantly rude and didn’t care. He shouldn’t not be a Dr. And his staff is incredibly rude.

Do not recommend. Establishment is dirty. My 11 year old daughter has severe hearing loss. Had Dr. Arastu actually cared for his patients, we would’ve been able to diagnosed the problem sooner. Every check up she had with Dr. Arastu she was fine, supposedly… I even mentioned the speech delay my daughter had to Dr. Arastu (at the time she was 6 years old). His response was every child learns at their own pace. Well duhh, obviously! But there are certain milestones that children “should” make at a certain age. Even my second daughter at the time was talking more than her older sister. Speaking full sentences. So how is someone who was over two years old with no verbal communication fine? Now my daughter is seeing an ENT specialist, because something in my gut was telling me something is not right. We just found out two years ago that both her ear drums had ruptured. Why wasn’t I informed at her check ups that her ears needed to be checked by a specialist? Because even the ENT said had we came in when the problem first arise, we would’ve been able to salvage her hearing. Do not recommend. Establishment is dirty. Had an appointment today with Dr, Arastu. My daughter has an eye infection. Besides the office being dirty, I noticed that the Dr himself wasn’t changing his gloves between patients! He’s going from sick kid to sick kid with the same gloves on and also touching the laptop he carries from room to room. They don’t even have a change of gloves on the rooms. I said something to the receptionist as I was checking out. She said she would say something to the Dr. Shouldn’t the dr know better?? Had an appointment today with Dr, Arastu. They are all sweet and professional, quick appointments and great advice for kids and adults.

Dr. Arastu is the kindest and most caring physician you will ever meet. He will bend over backward for his patients and do everything within his power to make sure they are well taken care of. I could not recommend Dr. Arastu's practice enough!

I'm sad to give this review because I have been taking my kids to this Dr for over 18 years now. It's definitely not the same without Lenka. I called to set up Covid vaccinations and the receptionist told me the clinic hours were from 1pm-4:30pm. I said I needed 2 and would be there at 4pm. She said they would probably close early if there were only 2 kids scheduled. I said that wasn't fair to give me a time frame and take it away. She then said I was more than welcome to take my kids somewhere else. Wow, ok. So I requested a call back from the Dr. And he never called me back. My daughter is paraplegic and high-risk for Covid, taking her to some big clinic is not ideal. She's 14 and has been with this Dr. since birth, having to switch and get her huge medical file transfered and start all over with another Dr is overwhelming to think about and not fair to her. I love him! My son is 5 and is autistic nonverbal Dr.Arastu is so patient and kind my son loves him everybody there are great! Took me years to find a Dr for my son and I'm glad I finally found the right side one!

Dr. Arastu is so AWESOME! He is patient and caring. The staff is great. Always accommodating and very friendly. Highly recommended!!

Has been our pediatrician since my daughters birth almost 8 years ago. Love the staff and the Dr. he always listens and is so patient. Highly suggest this office!!

I came to Dr. Arastu for months regarding my sons delays and PICA. He basically brushed me off and said I worried to much and he was fine. His response to why does he have PICA was "his levels are fine". He infact had low iron. His PICA was resolved by his NEW pediatrician who prescribed a simple over the counter vitamin. As for his delays. My son is autistic. He has speech. Ot. And ABA thanks to his new office for listening to me and caring about my son!. I wouldn't trust dr. Arastu with a cat!

A man of a few words. However, one of the most conscientious doctors I have ever met. Will take time to address the patient's needs and will go above and beyond to take care of his patients.

Dr Arastu is so wonderful. He's been seeing both my children since birth. I have never felt rushed while at his office. He takes great care and thoroughly answers any questions I have.

My children have been seeing Dr. Arastu for 12 years! I wouldnt take them to any other Doctor. His staff is AWESOME, and very helpful, doctor always takes time to explain things and makes sure u leave with no unanswered questions.

Dr. Arastu. Is awesome. We have been taking our children here since my son was born. He is very patient and will answer questions very thoroughly. He doesn't rush us and you can tell he truly cares about the children. His staff is amazing and friendly. I couldn't ask for a better pediatrician. I recommend him to everyone I know.
