Dr. Mimi Chen

Would love to tell more about my visit, however the staff does not return calls to schedule appointments. Dr. Chen was highly recommended to me, but I guess I'll never know how great she is because requests to schedule appointments go unanswered with voice mails...and calls are always sent to voicemail!

The staff never returns calls for requests to make an appointment. I have tried at least five times over the past three months. You're always sent to voicemail, you leave a message with your name, phone number and reason for the appointment request and NEVER receive a call.

I have been seeing Dr. Chen since I was pregnant with my second son back in 1997. When she moved to a new location I followed every time. To this day she remembers everything I have told her over the years. She has helped me through a couple of difficult situations. I Love her to the moon and back. An amazing amazing woman. I had Mimi Chen deliver 2 of my babies. I would not recommend her due to how my sons diagnosis and delivery were handled.

Got a blood test done came out negative. Previous pregnancy my blood test came out negative when I was 8 weeks pregnant. Told the Dr about that and got a ultrasound done. U can see the baby clear as day head, body, tail everyhting and dr chen was very rude called me back said my blood results were negative so deal with it basically. By the way she was talking to me it sounded as if she never even looked at my ultrasound that she just went based off bloodwork. Went to the er today and they told me im 8 weeks pregnant. I chose Dr. Chen because of patient reviews. I made my appointment for the next available (almost 2 months out). As a pharmacist, I am sometimes kept by my patients past my shift. I was running literally 6 min late and decided to call the office to let them know I’m roughly 10 min late. The front desk was incredibly rude and insensitive so I asked her to just reschedule my appointment since ~10 min was too late for them. She asked the doctor and the doctor said no since I’m a new patient and then very rudely gave April 29th as an option. If I was a new patient sitting in the waiting area for over 10 min because another patient held the Dr. up for longer than expected, the way my patient did to me, the office would have been OK with that because well patient care matters, right?! This Doctor is a gift from God I absolutely love her. I switched from a different gyn recently (because the office staff was so rude)and I could not be happier. Dr. Chen is the sweetest woman you will ever meet! I just met her and feel like she’s a longtime friend. If you can, make her your doctor! Seriously!! omg I feel so lucky! And Dawn is amazing! Dr. Chen is the one and only female doctor i have ever been treated by. She delivered both of my boys, still 18 years later remembers their names and ask about them! I absolutely love her. She is a wonderful person physician and I can't imagine having a more caring Doctor!! Elizabeth H.

Dr. Chen has been my gynecologist over 25 years ago. She was great then and she is fantastic now. I had a complete hysterectomy and she was very helpful during the entire surgery and after. Very compassionate!

Nope...don't do it. Waited 45 minutes in the waiting room with 1 and 3 year old, with ZERO heads up she was running behind at check in. I noticed on the sign up sheet another person had my same time and after asking it was dismissed as a possible mistake by the patient. After 45 minutes I went up again, was told it would probably be an hour OR MORE left to wait! I asked if this was common, she said that they try not to run behind, but always prepare for it just in case. Prepare for it???? Who the F waits an hour to be seen??? We left. Completely ingored all my medical concerns that I told her nurse when she came in. I had to go to another doctor to get any sort of information and diagnosis of PCOS that I’m sure I had since I was 13. I do not recommend seeing her if you have any pressing medical concerns. Constantly overbooked. They really shouldn't be accepting new patients. They cancelled an appointment on me for the doctor being sick and were not able to reschedule until over a month later. Then I did show up 15 minutes late to my appointment which I understand is my fault, but due to the high volume of calls they receive I was unable to contact them to inform them I would be late. I had a flat tire due to December weather pressure changes. I called several times with no answer. I drove all the way basically to avoid a fee. I also waited in the waiting room for another 20 minutes just for them to tell me they had to cancel the appointment. When looking to reschedule this appointment they said they have absolutely nothing available for months. I just wouldn't recommend this doctor for new patients or people with busy schedules because you'll have a hard time scheduling anything in a timely manner. I have been seeing Dr Chen for over 5 years. She makes you feel so comfortable she sits down and explains things, she’s so easy to talk to about those conversations no woman likes to have. She’s so open that talking to her is like talking to one of your girlfriends. And she likes to give hugs which is awesome!!! Cause I’m a hugger :-) Her staff is very friendly always kind and the wait is never long. I usually going during work and I’m always in and out in a promptly but professional manner. Dr Chen is an incredible doctor. Not only is she very knowledge, but she is also very friendly and personable. Her and everyone that works in the office make for a great visit. I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation!

Dr. Mimi Chen is an outstanding doctor. She has been my OB/GYN for over 20 years. She even has my daughters as patients. She is a great doctor and her staff are very good too. She makes you feel like family and you are treated like family. Every visit is about you. She listens and takes your concerns seriously. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I recommend her to all my friends.

I have been going to Dr. Chen for 11 years. She was recommended to me by a friend & I am so pleased with the practice here! I usually get in & out quick, sometimes even on my lunch. The ladies in the office are warm & understanding with every issue I have. I have even received a call from Dr. Chen herself to follow up. I get a hug with every visit & she always takes the extra time to talk to me about anything going on with me personally. She loves what she does, it shows & she is awesome at it!
