Dr Goldman listens and cares about his patients

I called Banner oncall and the nurse asked my symptoms and said sounds like I'll need to be seen within the next 24 hours, but to be sure, call my urology office. I did. The nurse (who was nice) said she's paging the dr. She said to call back every 30 minutes if I don't hear back from him. So I did. After 1.5 hours, he finally calls Dr Goldman: Hello. You paged. Yes sir. I'm having pain in my kidney but don't know if it's normal after a partial nephrectomy. Him: You're calling me at 1 in the morning because you have pain? Um, yes sir. This is what I was told to do. I don't know if it's urgent or can wait. I was told some pain is normal. Him: Well if you don't know, then go to the doctor. Why is that hard? Excuse me? Are you always rude to patients? I don't have a medical degree. Him: Well are you always this du..silly? If you have a pain, see a doctor. Duh. I'm sorry. What??? Him: You heard what I said. Goooodbyyyye. *Click*

Dr Goldmans staff is the absolute worst I have ever encountered! My husband has been trying to get a script for a daily antibiotic refilled for over a week now. You can’t get through to speak with anyone and IF you do get lucky enough to have someone pick up the phone, they haven’t the faintest idea what you are talking about and promptly connect you to another person who NEVER answers the phone. Very frustrating to say the least and maybe its time to find a new Dr...I like Dr Goldman personally, but his staff is NOT doing him any favors. I originally went to Dr. Goldman 14 years ago. I was better in no time. Now I am seeing again and feel completely at ease in his care.

Dr Goldman has treated my 96 year old mother for over 15 years. We found him to be very caring, kind and compassionate and very good at what he does. He always found the time to listen to any questions and concerns and did not leave until he answered them.

Doctor Goldman was amazing! Only 4 stars because of the rudeness of the the front desk receptionist. Yelling at my husband about not knowing what the cross streets for his pharmacy were. I told her we just moved here and didn't know, but I'd look up the address. She snipped back at me that she didn't live close to here and didn't know any of the streets. I'm not sure what I was supposed to do with that information. I personally have been in the medical field and customer service for 20+ years and if I talked to a patient like that I would have been out of a job. Doctor Goldman was amazing!
