I am a parkinson patient she has no knowledge about the disease and just keeps giving me medicine without follow up testing on how my disease is depending I would not recommend her to my worst enemy.

Wish I would have read this. I made an appointment with dr malls to go over my films for a second opinion on my cervical surgery. Took off work. Went for appointment. Was told I was with his nurse practitioner. What??? She opened the file and said “he said you don’t need it”. Seriously???? I walked out. I’m disgusted. Lost work today and left hanging. My husband has MS. He really has done well through the past 18 years, but then about a year ago it came on hard. The Dr. was patient & listened well to what he and I said, she was very efficient, she advised him on what to do next, told us about the new meds that help for MS and the next steps to take so that he will begin to feel better! Nice visit! Office guy was wonderful, also knowledgeable and helped getting some records we needed for the appointment. Very nice young man.

Joyce at the front desk was so helpful and accommodating and Dr. Umamaheswaran was nothing short of amazing. She was knowledgeable, patient, informative and kind. She is a wonderful doctor! Extremely please with the care we received. Office staff: Joyce was amazing and Dr. Umamaheswaran is a wonderful health care provider. She was pleasant, knowledgeable, caring and efficient.

The doctor is kinda rude and made me feel bad for even coming to her when I had my concussion. I felt like I was just wasting her time. I’m sure she knows her stuff though, just bedside manner could use some work. She didn’t tell me that I needed to pay $300 upfront when I went to my mri and they even told me she should have told me that. The receptionist is really sweet though ! Hope she’s having a good day. Since Covid, many locations have been short staffed. At this location, Kaylee is the one I speak with most. She has gone above and beyond to assure appointments and pick ups are coordinated with my schedule.

Horrible. Saw her once for Migraines. over the course of several weeks taking 5-7 days to return calls she tried 3 of the most advertised medications right now which didn't work and then had her tech call and tell me she didn't know what to do for me. So I am to continue to suffer in pain. This is why patients commit suicide. Doctors ignore them and leave them to suffer with no hope of help.

The office staff in the Hudson location are beyond rude. This place doesn't take debit cards or flexible spending accounts.

Primary doctor referred me here. Primary faxed script Malkas office today 5/29/2019. I then followed up to set up my appointment for testing ordered. All well up to this point...then the secretary offered me a short notice appointment, informing me "someone had cancelled theirs so you are lucky". I took that appointment for next day 5/30/2019 @2:40 pm. That was the end of that and all went well. I my primary to ask Well I called later about my script and someone named t"DEE" answered the phone. I requested the fax number so my primary could fax the new script to this location since this is where I was going for my appointment tomorrow. She then put me on hold for 20 minutes and started bullying, attacking me by raising her voice and not allowing me to get a word in. Dr. Malka was going to do a new patient consult tomorrow he wasn't going to do the tests. The tests are done by Dr. Gu and some other dr. I was disappointed about that but thought to myself okay no problem. Then Dee was started getting very aggravated without me even uttering a sound This Dee person was unacceptable to be in a profession like this. i am not accustomed for medical secretaries receptionist nurses doctors etc., or any professional to act this way. No one should have to listen to this kind of behaviour. . Now, if she made a mistake by giving me a cancelled appointment for tomorrow at 2:40 then then all she had to do was apologize and reschedule me, I would have understood completely But Instead she took it to an extreme level making herself to lie, yell, and and bully me. I asked her to have her superiour call me, but she just ended hanging up on me. I will print this and fax this review about their personnel today to their offices I do have to say I am a easy going person and I did reply to her saying its no problem take it easy I can see anyone of the doctors. However as I said she had to lie trying to blame it on me She said, I told them I wanted a consultation. This was a complete lie from Dee and nonsense too in the reasoning because the truth is #1.) I Informed the receptionist straight away, that my primary referred me to Dr. malkas office for specific tests to be done. #2.) My primary doctor once I give the okay will fax over the script to Dr. malkas offices. Therefore, why would I ask for just a "New patient consultation" This was the most awful telephone interactions I have ever encountered throughout my life. Very disappointed. Receptionist very rude

Dr. Uma , if I could give a negative star I would. Please if you ever have anything wrong with you don't go to see these doctors they dont care . I had a stroke in October and was told my stroke has nothing to do with why head head hurts, or why I stutter or why I am a completely different person and she was the nastiest person I have ever dealt with as far in the Field, as well as acted like she had no education as well. Absolutely worst experience ever with Dr.Uma who you shouldn’t even call a doctor. Doctors care for their patients not act like their a problem. This was my second visit with her , I went here before and saw a different doctor for over a year but he moved away. I see her for the second time and she tells me she can’t help me with my migraines, PNES and sometimes epileptic seizures. DONT GO HERE EVER , receptionists were nice but not the doctor. This is probobaly one of one of the worst doctors I have come across in along time for many reasons. She has no manners, she does not care about her patients, her misdiagnoses, the fact that she has no clue what she is talking about and she has not right being in the medical field or anywhere near anything that breathes st thins point

Worst doctor I have ever visited. She charged me for two visits that totaled in 6 minutes of her time. She billed me a visit for her just to write me a letter. My first visit was for her evaluation of a MRI which she didn't even order. She just read the summary that I received too. She is the best example of a terrible doctor just out to leech money. Stay away from her.

Would not recommend this doctor to my worst enemy She enters room with a mug on her face & looks very miserable. I spent 15 min with her & she sent me off for Spinal Tap. I went back weeks later to review results. Dr Umamaheswaran was very rude & told me results came back negative for MS & Lime disease. Paperwork was 8 pages & she only look at the frist 2. Office Receptionist rude Very bad experience !!!

my child and I waited 1 1/2 hrs for him . he wasn't even there. when he arived he went to consult 2 other patients before us. we were there first . they had only waited 30 min. we walked out without being seen. we didn't want him to do this to us again. the receptionist told me to just give him a minute while he helps the others. lmao she then said that the other 2 had appointments at the same time as each other., but yet my appointment was first. when i seen the dr walk by i said hi. he didnt even apologize for being late. This lady is horrible. She was mad and clearly agitated because I have not been to see here since March of 17, reason being I 15+ yrs ago was diagnosed with epilepsy and focal seizures was sent to have tests done was later accused of failing to do because they lost the disc yet i had a copy?? she prescribed meds i told her 2 months later it wasn't working her response increase the same med. She doesn't listen to pt concerns gets mad loud and rude if you ask questions THE WORST DR EVER

Not a very pleasant doctor at all. 1st time seeing her and will not go back. She was raising her voice to my husband when we asked a simple question. She had no desire to help. Also front desk did not say at time appointment was made cash or check only...

worst doctor and worst office experience I have ever had. She refused to listen to me when I told her repeatedly I was having pains in my neck and back that I thought were causing neuropathy. She said I had a B12 deficiency which is a lie because I got my own blood work back from Quest Diagnostics and there was nothing wrong with my B12. She refused to order an MRI or any type of scanning or Imaging of my back later i had xrays and mri from another docter and found out i was right could have

This doctor completely misdiagnosed my brother's condition as arising from essential tremor and prescribed medications for this. Within 8 months his condition had deteriorated to the where he was shaking so bad he couldn't feed or dress himself. I found a different neurologist for him and in the first 5 minutes correctly diagnosed my brother as having Parkinson's disease and changed his medication accordingly. Within 3 months my brother was back to going to the gym. Zero stars.

Hard to understand and upon reviewing test, she failed to review my complete chart.

Dr. Uma has done a fine job in diagnosing and prescribing medications for my condition, Initially communication appeared that it might be a problem. Dr. Uma speaks with a rapid cadence. When I asked her to slow down, her English was well understood. I've read earlier reviews and feel communication could have contributed to the to the problem. I think Dr. Uma does a professional, thoughtful an caring job.

PLEASE someone tell me how this women got her M.D she is by far the worst doctor i have ever been to. Did not care about how i was feeling didn't have any answers for what my problem was and then basically accused me of trying to get a prescription for intent to sell it!!! I am beyond furious and will never go back. Also the office is unorganized, dirty and disgusting. I honestly do not think she should be allowed to keep her job.

Can't answer any questions and just tells you she has to look up your question and then never answer them. I suffer from multiple sclerosis and now because I saw her my health is now in horrible condition. I have lost feeling in the right side of my body and can barely walk. when i first started seeing her I had never been like this and was doing great and no one would have even thought I was sick in anyway. I was completely normal!

I have seen this doctor twice and say with certainty there will be no third time. Dr Indira Umamaheswaran was recommended to me by my primary care doctor. I went to her expecting a professional who would spend a few minutes discussing my relatively uncomplicated medical case with me. Instead, after asking her to expand her explanation on a medication I need to take to for my seizures, she told me that she had other patients she had to see and that she, basically, had to wrap this up. I was shocked at her words and attitude--especially since I had agreed to change my appointment to an earlier time so the doctor could leave her office early and go work at the hospital! This woman was discussing seizure medication with me, not whether or not I needed more aspirin. To top it off as we left the room she was shaking her head back and forth, obviously irritated at my refusal to leave before I got the answers to my questions. Needless to say I will not be going back for a third visit, and am disappointed that this otherwise seemingly qualified woman would be so ignorant she would not take the ten minutes to share her knowledge as is her job. Anyone reading this if you do go there, definitely try the other doctors at the facility. Dr Indira Umamaheswaran is rude and unprofessional, and there is never an excuse for that.
