Dr. Stanescu is an attentive doctor and a great listener. I trust her with all my joint needs. She has invested so much of her time to help improve my symptoms. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Stanescu is a lifesaver! For the past five years, she has helped me manage my joint pain with compassion and patience. I feel fortunate to have her as my doctor!

Not a doctor I would recommend. If she is by some chance a skilled medical doctor whose only problem is a lack of interpersonal abilities, it doesn’t show. In addition to not providing justification for the diagnosis she came up with, she did not discuss any of the evidence based treatments—or for that matte any treatments. Her diagnosis was delivered as she walked out the door. She seems to take all questions as if they are personal affronts. I’m generally easy going and easy to get along with. It’s not my way to write critical reviews. But iI want to make the point that going to see dr. Stanescu is a waste of time medically, and her attitude and general lack of empathy is guaranteed to ruin your day.

She actually read my chart. Put a plan of tests in place. Had x-rays done on the spot. Key for me was “ I believe you” when I told her my symptoms! Gave me a DX on the spot with more tests to be done for further investigation! 5+ stars for me!

If you like sitting in a waiting room for well over an hour at each visit with no explanation or apology, then this is the doctor for you.

Not going to help. Will take you off all medication. Doesn't have a clue.

Diagnosis was incorrect and consequences were detrimental. Argues when questions are asked and heavy accent is tough to understand. Bedside manner and consideration for pain is non-existent.

First visit I was the first patient of the day. 20 mins late and no appology or explaination. Also asked me questions about my medical issues. I asked if she read my chart. She said if she did that before every appointment she would have no time. ( If I dont prepare at work I loose money, she could have cared). Second visit she was 40 mins late only to tell me she couldn't find the blood work she sent me to get after coming into the room. The day before office staff could have checked the next day appts to see if everything was in order, clearly that was not done. I got up and walked out after getting my copay refunded. Totally unprofessional office. My time is just as valuable as Dr. Stanescu

Writing this review on behalf of my wife. I dont have enough words to adequately express how grateful we are to have found Dr. Stenescu. She is above and beyond all doctors we've come across. Apart from her medical expertise, she's a human down to earth. Over the course of a couple of years we started seeing her for my wife's medical condition, we've found a medical expert, a friend, health coach and a mentor. She is a great listener. In my experience listening to patients with empathy, which, when used with medical expertise, becomes an instrumental tool for patient care. Dr. Stenescu is on the top of it. Once she blends patient's story with her medical expertise, she then formulates a solid care plan. She is condescending and very unhelpful to people who have just been given a tough diagnosis and need help from a professional. Has no bedside manor. Steer clear of this doctor with no compassion. My daughter has been struggling with her for weeks now. Hopefully, moved on to someone who can actually help, since time is very important when diagnosed with arthritis. Thank you. Hopefully, this can help someone else.

A very knowledgeable and caring physician; takes the time necessary to explain test results, medicines, and symptoms.

Dr. Stanescu is so important in my life. Multiple diagnoses and multiple physicians... She is attentive and we talk as long as I need.... great

I feel very fortunate to have previously been the patient of Dr Stocker who retired and currently the patient of Dr Stanescu. In my opinion they both are outstanding physicians who have treated (treat) my arthritis and immunity disorders. Treating conditions where chronic pain is often a prevalent symptom of the disease isn't an easy task. I feel my concerns are genuinely listened to and that I am included in the development and ongoing evaluation of my treatment plan. I've found that the entire staff of this practice from reception, x-ray, and medical assistant go out of their way to create an inviting, professional, and courtous environment. I was switched to Dr Stanescu when I called for an appointment with Dr. Scola. She can barely speak English and got her medical degree from Romania. She was unable to communicate with me. She didn't ask any questions. I told her I had pain when lifting my arms and she just shrugged her shoulders.

She is so condesending and just plain cruel. She doesn't listen to anything. She walked in the room on my follow up visit and said my labs were negative, i said where do we go from here, she literally scoffed and said what's your problem? I got about 3 minutes with her after waiting over an hour to see her and upon checkout i asked the nurse what her dx was and she went to check. While i was in the waiting room checking out i saw her come towards me so thinking she was coming for me i went to ask my question, she seriously put her hand on me and pushed me aside to call in the next patient! Not only was it disrespectful it was humiliating and unprofessional. I will NEVER GO BACK. I'll stay in pain that to give her another dime of my money

Rude and condescending

My first appointment with Dr. Stanescu was a follow up from Dr. Stocker who retired. Her first words to me were "why are you here today". This was her first time meeting me and she had not reviewed my chart, reviewed my X-Rays, or knew what medications I am on. Medication I had been taking for many years was removed due to concerns for heart and stroke related injuries, but no other workable solution was offered other than starting to basically throw out suggestions for pain relief. Compounding the issue is my asthma which the infusions she was starting to recommend while my asthma was not under control would cause further problems for me. While I was giving her my medical history, one point I made was a prior back injury, she started to snicker, because she too has asked if I had a prior injury to my back. No patient wants to feel disrespected. And when you are in pain you often do not remember things initially when brought up. On my second appointment with Dr. Stanescu, she spent all of five minutes with me. While a Dr.'s bedside manner is subjective to the patients opinion, in my opinion, she is very rude, condescending and cold. I have since changed Doctors to Yale and am very happy with how I was treated with dignity and respect. A full medical exam was preformed and I am now going for physical therapy instead of being left in excruciating pain without answers. Went in to check results, they were abnormal. Instead of monitoring them they tossed it up to pregnancy and sent me on my way.

She aggressively pursued several lines of investigation, insisted that her referrals were acted upon expeditiously, and successfully traced some peculiar test results back to their real cause. I'm very grateful for the attention I received while under her care.

Dr. Stanescu is a very understanding and compassionate Dr that listens to her patients and addresses all their concerns! She strives to give her patients the Best care possible and will continue to explore other options when meds aren't working as well as expected. Thank you so much for treating my Mom with such great care!!

I think she is the most thorough and attentive doctor I have ever had. Her office is a bit disorganized, but she personally follows through with her patients, explains tests, She does not use medical assistants and PA s, rather she gives you her full attention. I wish all doctors operated the way she does. You are in excellent hands with her. I no longer see her because my medical problems turned out to be not rheumatological, and I regret that she cannot be my full-time doctor.
