Meeting Dr. Irina after being diagnosed with stage 3b lung cancer was a great blessing. She came with a positive attitude about cancer and included me in decisions about treatment (although she always won). She was always available, attentive, and affirming. After four and a half months of chemotherapy and three more years of visits, I felt we were somehow related. When she left the practice for a teaching position, I cried.
