Great Dr. , always listens and does what he can to help

Upon entering dr. Corso‘s office in Commack found it to be impeccably clean. I observed that all COVID-19 policies were being followed, all employees were wearing masks and social distancing was being respected. My appointment time was on time with Dr. Corso, his bedside manner was as usual, professional and courteous and concerned with any problems that I might have due to a serious auto accident thirty years prior. I think Dr. Salvatore Corso is an amazing orthopedist he is such a caring and understanding Dr, and Jackie his PA is amazing I love them both. I’ll never trust another Dr. He’s helped me several times throughout several surgeries all successful.

Dr Corso took the time to listen to my concerns, I never felt rushed and he gave me hope that I would be able to have my situation taken care of and I could be out of all the pain I was dealing with. I’m definitely going back.

I see Dr.Corso for gel shots or cortisone in my aching knees. It works! He’s very gentle and is very experienced in doing this. I would follow him anywhere!

Dr. Corso absolutely ruined my ankle. Promised me it’d be “good as new” and it’s been quite the opposite. I had an arthroscopy and allograft done for my talus December 2019. There’s not a day that goes by after all this time that I’m not in pain. I cannot even see him to have it repaired due to an insurance change since I had the surgery right before I turned 26. I’m only 27 years old now and I feel like I’m 65. It’s highly depressing and I can’t even enjoy my life anymore because of the constant pain which has started to now work its way up through my leg all the way up to my hip and lower back. I still have the same type of defect that I started with as well as now having sprained ligaments and osteoarthritis amongst other issues according to recent MRI results. I can’t even speak with the doctor without making an appointment or spending hundreds just for an office visit. I wear an ankle brace and take Tylenol almost everyday just to try getting by. I’ve been going to physical therapy again and it is only aggravating the issue rather than helping. Thanks for ruining my life. I really don’t want to use a cane by the time I’m 30. Great doctor, not an alarmist. Knows what he is doing. Right to the point

Unfortunately i have been operated on or had a procedure done, by way too many doctors in my life, and it is never a pleasant experience. The one exception is Dr. Corso. His skills to diagnose a problem or administer a solution are unparalleled. His bedside manor is impeccable. Dr Corso was patronizing about my injury and so brusque as to be rude. On his way out the door he said get and MRI and don’t worry if you need surgery. He nor his staff explained about MRI locations so I went to a local place. His computer systems are not compatible with that system so he was not able to read them. He should have recommended a place that he can access.
