Irvin Sahni

I first went here in late June and was very impressed with Dr. Sahni and his plan for me. However since then I have been having trouble with the office staff giving me different stories and not relaying messages or returning my calls. I now see why before I left that first appointment a young lady took me into a room and asked me to complete a survey on my visit right then and there as she stood there. Recently I had called to say that the prescribed pt was making my back worse and wanted them to ask Dr. Sahni what to do. I found out yesterday that the girl I spoke to never even asked him. I had since gone to PT four more times. I was told to stop PT yesterday. I was also given the runaround about my back brace fitting appt and Insursnce coverage. I’m just very disappointed that I went there on the recommendation of another doctor but I’ve now had continuing issues with the office staff/communication. I do however appreciate the sweet office manager taking the time to talk to me.

I have been a patient of Dr.Sahni’s since I was in my teens. I suffered an injury to my lower lumbar after being dropped by fellow cheerleaders at a game. Dr.Sahni treated me and helped me get back out there. He doesn’t jump to whatever is the easiest fix, his goal is to get to the root of the problem so that you are able to get back to normal. Years of being an athlete have caught up to me which is why I still have Dr.Sahni treat me to this day. He is able to keep me active and going strong without living my life on pain medications or other short term fixes. I trust his judgement and have always appreciated his professional opinion. You will not find another doctor like him anywhere. He has impeccable bedside manor and will explain things to you in a way that you can explain.

Dr. Sahni is amazing! After seeing 3 other doctors that acted like I just wanted pain meds and it was all in my head, I looked into Dr.Sahni. This is the best decision I have ever made. I am happy to say that I have been pain free for the last 5 years. Thank you Dr. Sahni for everything you have done for me!

I have been a patient of Dr. Irvin Sahni and the Spine Center of Texas for almost 15 years. I had horrible neck pain and couldn’t hold my head up. I saw almost every doctor in the area to no avail. They offered epidurals and pain meds. When I found Dr. Sahni my life changed for the better. I had a fusion of C5,6 and WOW! I got my life back with no pain! He has also repaired a torn meniscus in my left leg, torn rotator cuff in my right shoulder and fixed my broken elbow. They don’t rush to surgery unless absolutely necessary. Physical therapy and exercise are recommended before surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Sahni and his team at Spine Center of Texas to anyone needing orthopedic care.

I was having unbearable pain in my neck and upper spine. I received immediate relief with trigger point injections by Dr.Sahni. He did X-rays in the office and pin pointed the problem immediately. The office staff was friendly and Dr. Sahni was very professional and knowledgeable. I have been pain free for over a year now! Thank you Spine Center of Texas and Thank You Dr. Sahni!!!

I would absolutely recommend Dr.Sahni . As someone who has dealt with ankylosing spondylitis his entire adult life pain is a constant presence that can be debilitating not just physically but mentally. Dr Sahni understands that and has looks for innovative but safe solutions that address that . Recently I had a procedure to address a debilitating lower back issue that was making any active lifestyle close to impossible. Irvin took a systemic approach with a goal to relive my pain and restore a quality of life . I was a bit nervous as while I’ve had outpatient procedures I’ve never had surgery involving an overnight stay . As Dr Sahni explained he was able to relieve 2 nerves that were impacted and clean up a great amount of scar tissue. Relief was immediate and hopefully permanent. The hospital and staff were first class and Dr Sahni checked on me several times to make sure I was comfortable and happy with my results . Thanks to dr Sahni at 68 I feel optimistic about the future!

Dr. Sahni and Dr. Nelson are wonderful to work with-they always listen to my thoughts and concerns, and are very patient. Their exams are thorough and comfortable. Based on their extensive training and background, they are extremely knowledgeable and are willing to share their knowledge to help me make positive decisions about my care. They and their staff are awesome! I am a spine surgery patient of theirs, and would, and have, recommended them to anyone with spinal issues.

All staff has been very friendly and helpful. The work the doctor here has done on my back has helped tremendously. Right after my first treatment I was able to bend over and touch my toes which I couldn’t do before I came to see them. I’ve been very pleased with all they have done for me .

I could not be happier with the care that I have received from Dr. Sahni and spine center of Texas. I have a work related injury from many years ago and I’ve basically been unable to find anyone willing to help me or even try to help me. Dr. Sahni spent time with me. He explained to me exactly what I was having done. And when it came down to it he chose the most minimally invasive option to treat my very complicated problem. He has answered all of my questions and always made himself available to me when I had questions or concerns. When I read some of these reviews I have to think we’re talking about two completely different people. Quite honestly I think some of these reviews have to be fake. Considering the age of my injury and my expectations, my results have been absolutely amazing. I highly recommend Dr. Sahni.

Dr. Irvin Sahni and his staff are always incredibly professional, punctual, friendly, and empathetic. He is very knowledgeable about both surgery and other treatment options. This means that you don’t get unnecessary surgery because he can give you injections. But it also means that if you really need surgery you don’t get stuck with a pain Doctor Who wants you to receive injections forever. I also really like the fact that he took the time to create YouTube videos to educate his patients. I highly recommend this doctor.

This was the second time in 5 years I visited Dr. Sahni. Both times he took a very conservative approach to helping me. Surgery may have been required after his preliminary treatments but in both cases I was pain free with his initial treatments of injections into the pain site.

This dr. does not care about his patients! My husband fell & messed up his nerve stimulator in his back! Took 6 weeks to see Dr. Sahni, even though he knew his stimulator was messed up because they took an X-ray of his back after he fell! Needless to say, we found a dr. in SA that has excellent ratings! Patients beware!

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. He misdiagnosed me with back issues when really my hip. Performed fusion surgery and my left foot has been numb ever since with a drop foot. He affected the quality of my life forever. I had to retire before I was even ready due to my mobility issues. I had to go to another doctor to get my hip replaced to get out of pain. He is arrogant and uncaring for his patients. Always the patients fault... not his.

Went to him complaining of severe lower back pain. Useless xrays were taken in one office then saw him the following day. He gave me all kinds of explanations about arthritis in my lower back.....blah, blah, blah. Then suggested an injection and sent me a link to a site that explained it. Said let's just go out and look at your xrays again. We walked to the hall and he asked someone to pull up my xrays. THEY WERE NOT EVEN THERE!!!! He had NEVER seen them. Wouldn't recommend him!!!
