New patient appt on Oct 15, 2019. Very satisfied with meeting. Good two-way discussion on strategies to continue to stay active, pain-free, drug-free, and happy as a 61 year old female endurance runner. Recommend for those wanting a sports med approach to functional health. Assisting nurse Ms Theresa is awesome and very aware of the little things that matter.

I saw Dr. Roberts when he worked at Duke. I came in feeling very tired and had a fever. He did chest X-ray, blood work, test for flue, strep, mono, checked urine and from my examination he determined a bad Kidney infection. He gave me a shot of antibiotics and some to take home. He was absolutely amazing. Very friendly and easy to talk to. He explained all my options and where to start.

I saw Dr. Robert's twice, once in Novarious 2016, then again in Jan 2017 for back, hip, and knee pain that wouldn't let up. He did xrays and said they showed nothing wrong. No mri. He told me that all my problems could be solved thru more exercise. In April I decided to try a different sports med dr, and she immediately did xrays and mri...turns out that I have scoliosis of my spine, arthritis, and a bulging disk. Funny how Dr. Robert's never noticed any of that from his xrays.

Was very considerate and careful, gave suggestions as alternatives to knee surgery, to buy me more time. Very Caring.

Not only does Dr. Roberts have a poor bedside manner, but he seems to have little time to spend with a new patient. He is robotic and seemingly unconcerned and disinterested in his work. When I have been to see him, the wait time once I entered the room, was well over 1 hour. I was in the procedure room for over an hour. Nurses who came in the room for supplies, asked which doctor I was seeing; they were not surprised to find it was Dr. Roberts, saying this was typical for him.
