I think this practice and the doctors are great, especially Dr. Thompson. I thought she was smart, nice and a very good doctor. I made her my regular OBGYN after meeting all the doctors in the practice before delivering my son.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Thompson for 18 years. She’s a great Dr. who takes the time to answer all my questions and makes me feel at ease. She delivered my baby many years ago and I always felt we were both in great hands.

I found Dr. Thompson to be personable and knowledgeable.

I was very sad after seeing these bad reviews. I have been seeing Dr. Thompson for past 8yrs. She is a very good doctor and very professional. She will listen to your porblems and has lot of patience. I got hysterectomy last year and every thing went well. I am happy I have this doctor as my OB-GYN.

She is an awful gynecologist. I had annual check up with her and i dont feel like i was seeing a doctor. She had hard time explaining things. She just wanted to finish up quickly and leave. I had to find another doctor. Just cannot trust her.

I was a patient for several years. I complained of pains and she misdiagnosed. I too experienced the condescension as well as inappropriate comments. I finally went to another doctor who immediately solved my problem and I got an accurate diagnosis. She claimed I had a low pain threshold. Based on other health difficulties, and the comments of various doctors, I have a very high pain threshold. She failed me. After my hysterectomy the lab confirmed the pervasiveness of my illness.

So sad to see this bad review, it compelled me to write an accurate one. I have been going to Dr. Thompson for quite a few years ( at least 12). I have always found her to be very professional, upbeat, and supportive. I have never for one minute seen her as anything less than totally professional. I belong to a women's group on Facebook with over 25K members, and she is often listed as one of the best obgyns in the Loudoun area when people ask for recommendations! Highly Recommended!

Horrible. This doctor knows all and treats you in a condescending manner. I am in the medical field and have never experienced anything quite like she treated me. She also insisted on doing an unnecessary annual exam just for me to get birth control. Then she argued with me about what birth control to be on! She also ran numerous labs I see by my insurance bill and I do not even know what they are. Unreal. I have since seen another ob/gyn since and it was a totally different experience.

Some of the doctors here are very nice, but overall their entire staff does not seem to communicate well with each other or with their patients. They rotate you amongst all the docs in their practice so that you know them all in case your regular doc is not on call when you deliver, which makes sense, but then they don't talk to each other, so every time you go in to see a new doc, they have no idea what's going on with you. Dr. Thompson didn't even check my chart before sitting down with me for the first time and shooting off a bunch of questions that 1) were misinformed (asking when I would be getting a test I'd already gotten done) and 2) could have been answered by simply looking in my chart. The doctors also don't seem to talk to each other at all. At my last visit, Dr. Choudhry asked me why I was getting a fetal echo, which was also already documented in my chart and something that his office had referred me to get. He didn't bother checking to see what medications I was on or what other medical conditions I have (which would've answered his question). I feel like every time I go into their office, I'm starting from scratch in terms of having to go through my whole history, remind them of what tests and procedures I've had done, ask if they've received my lab work that they themselves requested, etc. In addition, the receptionist is rude every single time I call. She acts like I'm putting her out by requesting simple information. I feel like I'm stuck with this practice now that I'm already half-way through my pregnancy, but I hope others will benefit from looking for another practice before using this one.
