Dr. Pranav Virmani

Went I went to the emergency room nothing went well that day. The staff did not bother to see me after the blood work results came out, which I saw on my chart. The doctor did not even bother to come in during all the hours of my visit. So, I found out his name was Pranav Virmani, MD from my chart later, and the same issue had re-occurred with other patients who reviewed him online. Reviewers mentioned the same situation happened to them and that is ignorant and arrogant. The charge Nurse that day her name was Toni (that was what she told me). She should make sure patients get the care but she didn’t as well. Not Even that one of the nurses when I left my bed after calling and calling no one answer me, she told me,( we are waiting for the blood work), which was not true. The blood work and urine test were ready for a while I got earlier the message on my phone from my chart. So, I had to ask to leave because I didn’t feel safe there, I called my wife and she took me home I saw my family doctor he mention that I should have had CT scan done. The situation was dismal, unprofessional, and quite dangerous. I am currently discussing with my lawyer further action. I wish I could put zero star for them. I had been to emergency room at loudoun hospital and wasn't treated by Dr Pranav Virmani. But I get a bill for $486. I did dispute this bill but unfortunately I have to pay this amount even if I didn't get any service from Dr virmani. Their explanation was that he ordered labs for me. But what about any treatment or care? How can I get a bill for such a huge amount just for ordering labs? Plus I have insurance and it should have been covered but contract doctors send separate bills. This is absolutely pathetic and just looting the middle class people. I would advise everyone going into the emergency room to ask the doctor of they are contract physicians and if there's any in house doctors. Disappointed

Dr. seemed to be rushing all the time and doesn’t want to interact with patient. He would stay by the door. When we ask questions, he’s unsure of answers.

Extremely rude and uncaring person. I cannot call him a doctor because doctors are supposed to be there for patients in the worst time of their lives. He was rude, uncaring and extremely unprofessional.

I had the unfortunate experience of meeting Mr. Virmani during an ER visit at INOVA ASHBURN. There was a shift change while I was at an ultrasound. It was very clear he came on shift and wanted to clear beds. He didn't introduce himself or take the time to summarize my case and make his own assessment. I was in major pain. We had to go a few rounds before he would even consider giving me something for lain considering it was the weekend and I wouldn't be able to be seem by a real doctor. I felt violated and unimportant due to his lack of concern for my case. It was clear he wanted to get me out the bed. I was able to advocate for myself but I can't imagine how that would have went if I was not. Ask for another doctor this one is sure to turn someone away and leave them in pain with no remorse.

I found Dr. Virmani to be very rude. I went to the ER and he treated me like garbage. Did not explain test results, said if I didn't make an appointment with a regular DR. I would need surgery. Found him to be very uncaring.

Great bedside manner - great doctor - felt very taken care of in the ED Thank you Dr Virmani!

He is a great doctor and bascially saved my life. So thankful.

This doctor has a horrible bedside manner. Upon being told not to do a certain procedure, she intentionally did it anyway, causing the patient extreme pain. She would be better served in a research lab, not involving any type of living creature. If you go to the INOVA Loudoun - Cornwall Campus Emergency Room and she is the only doctor on duty, go to Lansdowne if possible!
