Very professional and knowledgeable

The doctor is great, very knowledgeable, and always looking to minimize intervention which I appreciate. He is not the kind to give unnecessary dosages, suggest prescriptions or procedure that won’t be effective, etc. I know most are defensive when receiving constructive criticism, but the front desk staff are a huge area of improvement for this practice. Employees at a front desk position should excel in people skills, communication, and customer service. I have been hung up on multiple times in the past when their lines were busy. Some days you cannot call Into the office although they are open according to business hours. Recently I attempted to call in 4 times over 3 days, managing to get through 2 to leave a voicemail for an acne prescription refill. I still have yet to hear back. My prescription is on that must be taken daily, this has caused symptoms to return. Although the doctor is great, poor front desk and administrative staff can negatively affect your health as well. Sometimes it’s a matter of hiring quality people, other times it’s a matter of increasing your budget for personnel so that your staff can effectively handle the demand your practice deals and they are not spread too thinly. I have seen Dr. DeMaria for several years and he has treated me for several minor skin cancers and precancerous spots on my face and arms. He may be one of the best medical practitioners I know. He communicates issues and solutions in a very professional, personable, and understandable manner. He demonstrates extreme patience and answers all your questions, even those that may be unrelated to the topic at hand. I understand that skin cancer can be very dangerous but I have total confidence in Dr. DeMaria's diagnosis and recommendations. I highly recommend working with him and his helpful staff for any of your dermatological needs. very thorough and reassuring

There are not enough superlatives to describe Dr. Jess Demaria! His " bedside manner" is textbook perfect! Dr. Demaria's demeanor is extremely warm and caring. A terrific listener, Dr. Demaria gives the most thorough exam I have ever experienced in 74 years! Mary, his very competent nurse and long time assistant, completes this dynamic duo. Every dermatology resident should be required to observe Dr. Demaria because I believe he sets the standard for exceptional patient care!

I have seen Jess Demaria for 17 years! He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. I recommend him and the office for any skin care needs.

In 2012 I had gotten SJS/Stevens Johnson Syndrome a very rare disease I had a reaction to a drug that had sulfa, which nearly killed me Dr. DeMaria knew right away what I had, even before the biopsy he had ordered came back He was so knowledgeable and knew right away what to do. It was touch & go. I was a very sick ?? person. With Dr. DeMaria along with prayer my family & friends God blessed me, and I’m here today He knows his fields cares & listens. Dr. DeMaria is a rare doctor, who cares.

I was not satisfied with my experience at Dr. DeMaria's office. While performing a routine procedure, he made a mistake which forced me to undergo a follow-up procedure. Much to my dismay, I was informed that I would be responsible for paying for all costs associated. Dr. DeMaria has been my doctor for over 18 years now. He is an awesome doctor. Very knowledgeable, thorough and takes as much time as you need. I would recommend in a second.

I have been receiving excellent care from Dr. Demaria for over 25 years. I would strongly recommend him without any reservations.

Dr. Demaria is a good doctor but their billing system is awful. They do not send complete statements with bills and do not want to explain charges and payments, especially to spouses. If your want your spouse to talk to billing, you have to sign a form and tell the billing people to contact the doctor's office.

Dr. DeMaria is an outstanding doctor. He has been a great resource and takes the time to describe any potential issues. I highly recommend Dr. DeMaria to anyone looking for a great dermatologist.

Doctor DeMaria is a wonderful doctor. I have been a patient for many years. He is very thorough in his examinations and easy to talk with. I have recommended him to several friends who have been very pleased.

I have been seeing Dr. Demaria for 20 years. I don't believe it is possible to find a better Dermatologist or get better dermatology care from anyone, anywhere. His care, thoroughness, professionalism, attention to detail, and results are all outstanding. Dan Braun
