Two appointments thus far for epidural injections. In and out and done properly. Some say he's rude, but my impression is he just isn't a big talker full of words and fluff. Get in, handle business, ask how I was responding to treatment and gave me instructions going forward. Let's keep it moving. His one assistant who takes vitals and such, Kayla, is very kind. Office is clean and welcoming and in a good area (Westervillle). As for epidurals, not sure how effective these will end up. First one was mediocre at best and the second one is a little better but still have a lot of pain. Such is life with back issues.

Dr. Gronbach is very skilled in his field. He is honest, caring and genuine Doctor. He always has a smile on his face. I wont allow any other doctor to work on my messed up spine. Thank you Dr. G! You're appreciated..

Dr Gronbach is very professional. My biggest complaint is scheduling. Today’s appointment was at 10:15 and it is now 10:37. Why can’t doctors be on time? Lol

Dr. Gronbach always explains the choices in treatments plans and is truly interested in helping relieve YOUR pain.

Dr Gronbach was very thorough and informative. He asked many questions, examined me, scheduled me for a follow up for additional treatment and referred me to another specialist within the practice to address issues that are outside of his scope. Everyone within the COPC practice has been great to work with and are clearly committed to their patients and passionate about determining the best treatment options.

Had a... let's call it "noteworthy" experience going to see Kort Gronbach for my partner's chronic back pain. After waiting in the front for 60 minutes after our appointment start time. (He had to make time for one of his regulars who came in without an appointment.) We were treated to a rushed appointment, most of which took place with an assistant named Chad, who, while friendly, spent most of his time telling us we might not get any medication because of the ongoing opioid issues in Ohio. Fun. Once the doctor did grace us with his presence, we were treated to a rushed, unpleasant, conversation, in which my partner was hardly allowed to speak. Every detail she tried to add, was met with, "We know, it's in your chart." Every questions she tried to ask was talked over or dismissed out of hand. Dr. Gronbach seemed much more pre-occupied with the initial MRI report my partner had submitted than with actually asking her about her pain or her experience. On top of this, he had the audacity to contradict the assessments of the hip specialist and two spine specialists we had consulted with previously, and claim my partner's spinal disc herniation was mild-negligible, and her pain was primarily from a pulled muscle. (Neither of these things are true.) Then went on to reference the opioid crisis in Ohio, (just like his assistant) and explain one by one why the medications that other physicians had prescribed to my partner were unnecessary, unhealthy, and he would not be refilling any of them besides her muscle relaxer, which we could have gotten filled by her primary care physician. In short, after paying for ubers and a co-pay, we were forced to wait for one of his regulars, lectured, dismissed, and talked over. I would highly recommend this office to everyone. Dr. Gronbach & his entire team are amazing! Not only does he actually listen to everything that you are concerned/dealing with but he is one of the only doctor's I've encountered that had actually read my file before my first visit. (& Mine is a long read due to my idiopathic organ failure) He is willing to try multiple approaches in order to best help his patients & doesn't just give up if the first thing doesn't work. He is extremely knowledge as is Mrs. Stephanie, his nurse practitioner (she is the sweetest!). Dr. Gronbach was very informative and showed me my MRI and what the problem was with my cervical spine and what needs to be done.He gave me a prescription to help with the nerve pain. I took it that evening and had the best sleep I’ve had in awhile.

What a joke! The minute he sat down he told me there’s nothing wrong with my back. I got what are you talking about? I was at a pain management doctor for eight years and was on pain medication and shots. When he asked me who the doctor was I told him and I ask him also can I sign a release for him to get all my records. His response was “no I don’t like that doctor”... I how could my old doctor show me my MRIs and show me that I have two herniated disc arthritis and degenerative bone and you’re telling me there’s nothing wrong with my back! He still refused to get my old documents. I ask him is it an MRI more in detail than an x-ray? He said a little bit. He was rude to me and quite frankly I would not recommend him to anyone!. Dr. G is always friendly, and genuinely interested in helping me with my back pain. He is very experienced and has created a sequence of treatments that has helped reduce my back problems while avoiding surgery. We’re still working on this, but I feel confident we are headed in the right direction.

I give Dr. Gronbach 5 stars! He has always listened and treated me with respect. I have seen many doctors that don’t measure up to Dr. Gronbach. His location is not the most convenient for me, but I drive across the city to get to him because he’s worth it!

Dr. Gronbach demonstrated care and concern from our initial meeting regarding my chronic spine pain. I was at a 9.5 pain level constantly on a 1 to 10 scale. Dr. Gronbach recommended the installation of a morphine infusion pump to inject morphine directly into my spinal canal. In a matter of minutes my pain level went down to 1 (one) from a hard 9.5. If you suffer from chronic, I highly recommend Dr. Gronbach and his team. Life is short enough without having to live with serious pain.
