Jessica Laine Ellis

Jessica Ellis, M.D. gave painless, effective corticosteroid injections in my ostarthritic knee which allowed me to continue playing sports! I miss her being here.

Dr. Ellis was my miracle today! I've been in a sling for dislocated shoulder for 24 days since going to Urgent Care after a fall. I saw one surgeon at Slocum who only stopped in the room long enough to do a quick exam and send me for and MRI and then has not contacted me for results (still 4 days since MRI). Dr. Ellis got me out of the sling and into a better device for keeping me safe. She sat with me and reviewed x-rays and MRI results and spoke in terms I could understand. She spent loads of time with me, was caring, but focused on the task at hand. She is not a surgeon but told me I likely need surgery and suggested I keep waiting for the surgeon to call me, although she will help if he doesn't. GO TO HER if you need help. I am more independent and have greater motion and understanding of my situation. Information is power!

I went to Dr. Ellis for a sports-related injury. She has deep knowledge of sports medicine, understands all the sports, and was able to very quickly find my problem. Dr. Ellis was professional, straightforward, and didn't waste my time. I very much appreciated her honesty and directness as that made helping my recovery that much more clear. I recommend her to all athletes I know.
