I have been seeing Dr. Ames for over 20 years. I worked in health care and have seen a lot of bad doctors. I have always been so thankful to have Dr. Ames as my doctor. He is very knowledgeable but knows when to say he doesn't know and knows when to refer. He has always listened to me. He has called me himself to give me medical results. He is so kind and caring but also nothing but professional. He was so supportive when my brother and dad died. Thank you Dr. Ames for being my doctor.
My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Ames for almost 20yrs. If there is a perfect Doctor he would be the one. Caring, kind, listens and was always there when needed. He was never inappropriate in his actions or speech. I want to take this time to say thank you for all you have done during our time with you. We love you and will miss you terribly.
I really liked him, but when i had to see another Dr cuz he wasnt available, he fired me because he didnt bother getting my side of the story, which hurt my feelings because he knew my mental state was fragile, i was also in a medication change for depression. His assistant Michelle Kaplan should be fired, read her reviews. Like I said he is a good Dr, just dont ever let them schedule you with her. Trust me you will regret in.

I’ve seen him for the last 20 years. It takes a long time to find the perfect doctor, I only wish I had known him when I was having kids. A wonderful caring man with a big heart focused on making sure you get the very best care he and his staff can provide.
