John C. Byrd

The day I found Dr. Bird was nothing short of divine intervention. I had been through a series of doctors who were confusing, uninterested or lacked knowledge. Though it took me 6-7 months to get an appointment, it was truly nothing short of miraculous. He is an expert in CLL, very personable, and truly caring. He monitored me for several years and when I had a scary medical condition, he and his team worked diligently. They were incredibly professional and helped heal me through this truly difficult time. I live 4 hours away from his office but I will follow Dr. Bird all over the earth to make sure he is my "forever" doctor for CLL! (5 stars are not enough for his rating.)

Great Doctor! Smart, kind and caring! The best!

The best, most compassionate doctor I have ever seen. Dr. Byrd is one of, if not the leading expert in treating CLL. He's always right on top of any concerns you might have. His mission is to cure CLL and he's doing everything he can to make that a reality. Dr. Byrd is the reason I'm alive today.

Dr Byrd is one of the world's leading researchers and experts on Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. He is involved in cutting-edge clinical trials and carefully steers his patients' course in light of the latest research on CLL. Dr. Byrd is also a very compassionate person who deeply cares about his patients. I would highly recommend to anyone with CLL to travel to Columbus to consult with Dr. Byrd or a member of his team.

Amazing experience, a kind, caring, thoughtful human being who happens to be one of the smartest, most experienced physicians that I've ever met. He treats the body and the mind, the whole patient. He is the type of doctor that we imagined physicians shoud be. He makes you feel comfortable and confident whatever the situation. This glowing, honest review is not due to my sudden cure or remission of my CLL. Just the opposite, my CLL just returned after almost 4 years in remission. I am truly at ease with CLL because of my confidence and respect in his knowledge, experience and his abilities as a DOCTOR. A great man, doing the right job at the right time. Helping to extend lives while he cures the evil scourge of cancer. As a husband, father and grandfather, I cannot thank him enough.
