I am not a patient. However, Dr John Ludlow seems presented a highly viewed video 1.4 million views currently on YouTube titled 'myths of testosterone'. That alone results in him being highly influential in regards to TRT. Other doctors certainly bjsvr creed it and Lily imo he implemented some of his protocols. He's notes that he would prefer topical testosterone creams for low T patients...as it better mimics the natural pulsatile secretion of testosterone on a daily basis ON PAPER (in practice it's a different story). However, the escalating cost of topical creams has forced him to other options. that secondary option was one shot every two weeks (likely testosterone cypionate due to its long Esther. However, given this video was 5 years ago, I hope the doctor has changed his injection frequency protocol. Regardless of whether you're using a long Esther like testosterone cypionate. Bolus doses of testosterone given once every 2 weeks will cause gigantic peaks and trouths leading to suboptimal symptom relief. And more importantly increased potential of side effects from the aromatization of large infrequent injections. I would Opt for a near daily small dose using a simple .5 inch needle for shallow IM administration. I am not a patient. While I have not personally seen Dr. Ludlow, I just viewed some videos he presented. As a widow of an Urologist( Frank Crespo, M.D., F.A.C.S , ), I am very pleased with his caring and knowledgeable effort in finding appropriate care for each individual patient and his drive to find forthcoming and exciting solutions for every patient! Excellent experience from first visit through enlarged prostrate surgery ending with post surgery visit. Dr. Ludlow was very concerned over my well being. Answered all my questions. Let me know what to expect during post-surgery healing process. Bob W Grand Haven, Michigan

I had a prostatectomy in 2011 (performed by a different physician, not Dr Ludlow). I was left with severe incontinence. Dr Ludlow performed artificial urinary sphincter. I drive 2 hrs to receive care from him and I would not have it any other way. He is one of the most caring and compassionate physicians I have seen and is an expert in placing the AUS. He gave me my life back.

Equal or better urologic cancer physician with triple A training. Personable, honest, and considerate. I owe my survival and quality of life to Dr Ludlow. He's a wonderful match for 99% of the population.

I have had three penile implant replacements performed by Dr. Ludlow. I've had five total implants since 1996. The implants seem to last about four to five years before failure which I find acceptable. My third implant, the first performed by Dr. Ludlow was very successful and my full penis length (5) was restored. However, the forth replacement was disappointing and now I have the fifth which has reduced my penis length to about 2 1/2. He seems not know how to restore the original 5.
