Dr Ryzenman was great, his front desk staff great. Dr who administers hearing test needs to go back through empathy uptraining. I have never encountered a person in a health care profession that was so rude and disrespectful. I would not let her treat me for fear of retaliation. Why would you treat a person in need of help and trusting you to help them with the type of approach and responses I received. Unbelievable!!! I’m a manger in a customer service based company and would never treat a customer the way I was treated.

Very concerning would be my response. Dr. R and staff have not been responsible at all to the after effects of chronic pain that my Mom has experienced as a 90 year old women having his specialty surgery. We feel helpless seeing our Mom suffer pain and he/they have offered no good solutions. I would not refer anyone to this physician.

I have been going to Dr. Ryzenman since I was six years old (I am now 21). He has performed several reconstruction surgeries on both ears and many many tubes. Surgery has always gone well, but when asked questions, he acts like he’s inconvenienced and doesn’t have the extra 2 minutes to explain it to you. I visited him recently for mild ear pain and while explaining to him what I was feeling, he proceeded to say “See you in three months” and walked out as I was mid sentence.I have never felt so belittled by a doctor, especially as a long term patient, I expected I would be heard and provided a solution. Instead I was interrupted and ignored. The office is also always behind. Expect to be taken back about 20-60 minutes after your planned appointment time. I will not be returning as a patient in the future.

Impressive and thorough. Took the time to explain the many facets of Meniere's Disease. Never once did he push hearing aids even though my testing warrants them. You will want to have him as your doctor if you have been diagnosed (and dismissed like I was by a regular ENT) with Meniere’s as he is exceptional

I could not be happier! He was the 4th doctor I saw to help me with my sudden feeling of a plugged ear and hearing loss. He performed a tympanoplasty with ossiculoplasty and I had instant results. I've dealt with this for 10 months and thought I might have to just live with the awful feeling...so I am very grateful!

I have going to him for years and I would not go to anyone else.

Was referred to this doctor for a complicated ear issue. They refused to see me because they didn’t accept my insurance. I offered to self-pay for the appointment and they told me that was insurance fraud. How is that insurance fraud?

Waiting time was too long. I neither needed nor wanted a hearing test, but the surly, unfriendly audiologist insisted on it. I never even got the results. The doctor dismissed the reasons I was there, as if I were imagining the symptoms. They were going to refer me for a further scan and also to a doctor for headaches, but I never heard back from either supposed referrals. Finally, my PCP who referred me in the first place never received any follow-up. I think they only care about selling hearin
