Great doctor. Always very concerned with my children. Very nice and professional. I really enjoy this pediatrician office, always availability almost every time I call.

I love Doctor T and staff ???? they always make you feel like family and most importantly they are very professional, nice, sweet and caring people.

I’ve been taking my kids to Dr. T for about three years now. I didn’t think to leave a review until I recently started a new job that relies heavily on online reviews. I was shocked to see his average reviews so low. Dr. T has taken care of my 4 kids from 18 months to 12 years old. He does not rush you. He always welcomes questions. He educates you. Whenever I need one of them to be seen quickly, they accommodate. They have initiated referrals to specialists when needed or when I’ve requested it. His staff has been very attentive, friendly and professional. Sandra and Holly are the best! Thank you all for the work you do, dealing with sick kiddos AND their parents is no easy task! Great doctor with great office staff! They go above and beyond and are very helpful. Always giving options and taking time to explain things.

I was sad when I had to find a new pediatrician because my insurance changed, but I’m glad that I found this place. Everybody there is so nice, and the doctor doesn’t rush, you could ask all the questions you have to ask and he will make sure to make you feel comfortable before you leave those doors. I’m thankful that I found him.

My family loves Dr. T and all his staff. They are always amazing and make us feel like family. I was so excited several years ago when I found out that he would be excepting our insurance because since my oldest was a newborn I’ve been wanting my children to see him. As her father and her aunties did when they were kids. Dr. T is always so kind and patient. He explains everything in detail and always makes sure to ask you if you have any other questions. I know if I forget to ask something I can call and get a answer or if his staff can’t answer it at that moment they will either call me back or he will call me back himself. I love Dr. T! He had been seeing all three of my children since birth! I love all the nurses there. They are great with my son who is rambunctious, as well as my other two daughters. Dr. T always listens to my concerns and gives me natural remedies as well as gives my children what they need if they are sick. I trust his judgement in a lot of things and give great tips! Just wanted to give a wonderful shout out to Dr. T and his Staff! My girls have been seeing Doctor T for years now and they all love him! He is so detailed, caring and we always get the best care anytime we need it. The staff is amazing, especially Sandra. Office does not allow you to take home the new patient package to fill it out BEFORE you get to the appointment. Wasted time, child missing more school than should have, and running late for work too. This all could have been minimized by allowing the client to fill out the paperwork ahead of time. 2 hours of office time when it could have been cut in half. ???? Office mailed a letter out the same day advising us to look for a different PCP as they will not accept our son but the letter gave no reason why... Take your child to a qualified doctor, not this place! Office does not allow you to take home the new patient package to fill it out BEFORE you get to the appointment. 6 years ago a mother riddled with post partum depression tried making an emergency doctors appointment with her infants primary care physician. It was 45 degrees outside and I didn’t have heat in my car. I was running late and mentally in a bad spot. When I arrived I was met with horrible attitude from this staff and complete lack of compassion and understanding. As I stated previously, tensions were high and I was in a hard place. Still to this day my children have been banned from seeing this doctor because “I was rude.” Never in my life have I met a more entitled, stuck up practice in my life. If I could leave zero stars I would. Extremely rude staff. After having a staff member rudely hang the phone up on me, I had to then go to the office To find out what was going on. I then received the same treatment. I was requesting records from my daughter and the lady was being extremely rude. I stayed quiet waiting for her to finish snapping at me until she got offended by me not getting bothered and told me to leave or she will call the cops. I just called to try and set up an appointment for my son and the receptionist was so rude. I was expressing my concerns about having to drive back and forth for a copy of an immunization record instead of the pediatrics offices retrieving the information and she hung up the phone on me telling me I was welcomed to find another doctors office “sweety.” She had a rude tone and she was very sassy. I DO NOT recommend anyone taking their child to this office. If they have poor customer service over the phone imagine how they will treat your child! And I am not your sweety lady. Amazing dr he takes his time and answers every question you may have. I never feel rushed or like my concerns don’t matter. Also the office staff are amazing as well.

We have been going to Dr T for 15 years now. Love him and ALL of the staff!! When you really get to know Dr T, he also has a great sense of humor. He has always been kind and patient with all of my children and always takes the time to see if I have any questions that need to be answered. Cannot say enough good things about Dr T and his staff!!! They’ve been incredible for my family ! Dr T is a very thorough and attentive pediatrician. My older sons have aged out and still ask to go back to him. My youngest is still a patient with him and I’m so grateful for all he has done for him! I highly recommend !!!

Dr. Terwilleger is awesome he takes his time, you don't feel rushed, he actually asks if you have any questions & goes the extra mile with his patients. My daughter came in for a school sports physical & as he did exam he told her that her hamstrings were tight & let her know she needed to stretch them so she wouldn't pull the muscle, said she'd sit out for a while if she pulled or strained the hamstrings. Honestly I’m shocked to see any negative reviews about Dr T, or any member of his staff. Perhaps it just could be personality differences. My family prefers a doctor that will tell you how it is rather than skirt around the issue. He is very personable and makes sure all of the parents questions are answered before he leaves the room. My daughter is the second generation to see Dr T, and he surely helped to diagnose my husband with asthma when he was a child. He’s extremely kind and caring, and you can tell very much that he loves what he does. My husband and I would move heaven and earth to make sure our daughter is able to continue seeing him. Horrible horrible experience avoid this one

The waiting time never gets better.

I love DR. T. Love his front staff, love his medical assistant. Haven’t had any problems with them until today. During an issue regarding my sons insurance the office manager interrupted me several times, told me she was listening while I was in the middle of a sentence then as I told her how unprofessional he was being she told me to GO TO HELL. I called back and was hung up on. Called again and asked to speak with Dr. T and she told me he won’t speak to me and that she’s the only one to speak with. I can not believe a professional man like Dr. Terwilleger will except this behavior from a grown woman!!! I CAN NOT believe a grown woman would speak to any concerned mother the way she spoke to me. WORST EVER!!!!!!!!! My wife had to go for a emergency PET scan because her doctor thought she might have cancer for the third time. I completely forgot about my appointment with this office due to the stress of my wife possibly having to deal with cancer for the third time. Not to mention I am raising two autistic boys and my wife just went threw 8 surgeries in less than 2 years. Because we missed the appointment, they will never see our children. I asked if I could pay some kind of fee for the mistake and I was told no. I was told to find a new doctor and good luck. No compassion for anything, I had proof of everything and instead of saying we know emergencies happen and you have a lot on your plate. They said zero tolerance. well I am so glad this office manager can judge everyone so harshly for mistakes that happen. I hope she is judged as harshly next time she is late to work or her life is in turmoil with things out of her control. I am glad she is such a perfect human. she must be close to Jesus Christ. I used to be a patient of Dr. Terwilleger when he was practicing with Dr. Parker in Sanford. As an adult, my two sons were also patients of Dr. Terwilleger’s and now my grandson will follow family tradition!! He’s the best Pediatrician in my book!!

Great doctor! Never feel rushed he is very professional and offers great advice. Sandra is wonderful and my kids all love seeing her :) I would highly recommend

My boys have always felt like Dr. Terwilleger and his staff are family. My husband and I started going to Sanford Pediatrics in 1991. We are grateful to have found such a wonderful doctor in the very beginning of parenthood. Dr. T never rushes an appointment and wants to know all about their lives. Our baby will be 18 in January. What a blessing to have the same pediatrician for 28 years! There were about two years when Dr. T didn't take our current insurance. We kept going to him! It's important to trust your pediatrician and we do. I miss the nurses who have retired and were there for all my new mom questions. There were a lot of questions!! Viola Office Manager is the rudest lady on this planet! Avoid at all cost! Go where you will be treated like a Human. This lady is Horrible!

Very old fashioned and monotone. My daughter was afraid of him. He was not for me breastfeeding her.

I just left this office 30 minutes ago, from my child’s supposed new visit, which according to them was to do a physical (to say the patient is in good health only I guess), and update my child’s immunizations. First thing that did not sit right with me was their statement of the doctor’s office releasing your child if you, as the parent, don’t agree to get them immunized with all “required” immunizations. Ok, whatever. So after finally getting to the back to have my child’s height, weight, etc. done, the medical assistant or nurse tells me that my child is a few shots behind, and it looked like it was only 3. I said it’s ok, bc that’s the most I would allow her to get in one appointment. She then says it could be 4, but she wasn’t sure. I then reiterated that she would only be getting 3. I could tell by her demeanor she didn’t like this. She then brought up their policy. I said it’s no problem for me to find another doctor, but I would like my child to be seen today bc she was suffering from chronic constipation, and hadn’t made a bowel movement in one week. She then tells me that my child would only be seen for the physical, and that if she needed to be seen for constipation, that I’d have to schedule another appointment. Absurd! We exchanged a few more comments, and in the end I told her to not let us waste each other’s time, and to cancel the appointment. They claim I was asked if there were any issues while scheduling my child’s appointment and that I had said everything was fine. I told them that was incorrect, and was trying to explain that if that were the case, then I would have told them about the constipation. The office manager( I’m assuming) who had been called into the room didn’t seem to concerned about what I was saying bc she was talking over me, and basically telling me I was liar. The medical assistant or nurse, was behaving passive aggressively, and I called her out on it. My child(ren) are not numbers. A doctor and his practice should always go above and beyond to make sure your health and care come first. This office majorly missed that mark. I canceled my other daughter’s appointment and walked out. In the time it took me to go grab a bite to eat after leaving, I managed to call their pediatrician (the one they’ve seen since birth) and was able to get my daughter’s constipation addressed and given instructions on some possible solutions to try. My expierience with Dr. Terwilliger was fine but his office has the absolute rudest front desk I ever encountered. The first time I visited this office I witnessed an argument between a parent and the woman at the front desk. She was rude and obnoxious to this poor parent in front of her daughter. The second time she was directly rude to me insinuating over the phone that I was not a responsible parent because I could not remember my sons appointment date. There will not be a third visit. The doctor here Mr. Terwilliger is amazing. He is so patient and listens to all of my concerns. I am so happy to have found him. The front office staff is top notch. She always has a friendly smile and is so helpful. I am giving them a one star because of the nurse that works here. I can not even sit in the waiting room any more because after every patient she comes out and says the most horrible things to the front office lady about mothers. She has said some very unprofessional things and it happens every time I go. She is very rude, unfriendly, and extremely unprofessional. No one should be talking about the moms to other staff. If someone has such a problem with people they should not work with people. She was with Lake Mary pediatrics before she came here which is where we used to go. I believe this woman is making a horrible mark on this doctors office and needs to go elsewhere. Great pediatrician

Love Dr T and his staff.

Very friendly and always answer the phone when I call. Awesome staff. My kids actually like going there (I have a 5& 10 yr old).

Always a great experience with the nurses and Dr. Terwilleger. They go the extra mile for us parents and for our boy.

Dr T and his staff are wonderful. I never feel rushed and his front desk receptionist and nurse/medical assistant are so sweet.

Great pediatrician to my granddaughter! Have always gotten in same day when something was wrong. It's true, he can sound monotone but that in no way distracts from the fact that he's a very good Dr.! Definitely recommend.

My children have been seeing Dr. Terwilleger for 11 years . He is an amazing Doctor. I have a lot of respect for him and trust him completely. I recommend him to anyone that asks. His staff is friendly, Sandra is amazing and the best at what she does.

We love Dr. T and his wonderful staff!!!

Dr T is an awesome pediatrician! We have been going to him for 12 years now! I've NEVER seen him get upset like some of these other reviews say. He has always been patient and undersatanding and always answers my questions. Once you get to know him, you get to see his great sense of humor as well. His office is and waiting room is always spotless and his office staff and nurses are incredible! I highly recommend this practice!

Dr. Terwilleger is a wonderful doctor. Both of my children go to him. He is always patient and kind. He explains everything to me fully. He is so helpful answering all my questions. I feel he really pays attention to my children's medical needs.

Dr T is a wonderful physician!!! I cannot say enough about him! He's been my family's pediatrician for over 20 years. Recently my 2 year old was hospitalized and he called me daily to check on him... he truly cares for his patients and it shows! I wouldn't trust my kids with anyone else!

Worst DR. Didn't knock on the door before entering. My daughter told him she had a bump on her ear. Its something in the inside. He said that it could be her acne, it could be an ear infection, it could be a lot of things and he was already almost done. I told him that as a mom I don't want to live with the it could be this or that. I would like answers. He then started screaming you want surgery they can cut you open took the laptop and slammed the door and shouted to the nurses the situation.

This is the worst pediatrician I have ever taken my children to. I never write reviews and but I feel that everyone should know how terrible this doctor is.I feel I have given him a fair chance and even though he is completely rude and has the personality of a stick I have still continued to go to him. But this was the last straw...He failed to diagnose a serious ear infection telling me her ear was fine. I took her to Nemours urgent care next day and was told it was a 9/10 in severity, in both.

After trying to cram my son's 4 and 6 months vaccinations in one day, I asked to have them spaced out because my son is having surgery in 30 days and is very small. He got very angry, slammed his laptop shut and told me that he'd give my son 1 shot today and that I'll have to go elsewhere from now on. He slammed the door and shouted to his nurses about my situation. The nurse gave me a letter stating that he is no longer my children's pediatrician. He refused to see me and give me an explanation
