Dr Spanyer is a thorough and knowledgeable doctor well prepared for treatment procedures I believe. He answered all of my questions and did a thorough exam and told me what the course of action should be. He put my mind at ease and I have confidence in him.

The doctor is very friendly, patient and explaining every question you have I would highly recommend this doctor.

Look at his reviews. They're all true. I know 5 people personally that have had fabulous results, knee and hip replacements. Nothing but praise for him. You won't do better. Also he interacts well with people. He's an excellent doctor and a fine man. Can't praise him enough.

Dr Spanyer was very thorough in explaining my condition and the different options for treatment. He takes his time and doesn't make you feel rushed. He's very pleasant and caring. I have been going to Dr Spanyer for about 5 years now and he is the same every time. He's the best!

Thoroughly pursued my condition in every aspect. Dr. Sprayer, his staff and therapy technicians performed exceptionally.

I had pain in my inner groin related to the hip area. This was my first visit and I appreciated the entire staff. Friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Spanyer explained what he felt could be the reason for my pain. I decided to have an injection of cortisone with a numbing agent. I will wait to see how it feels before moving to have an MRI. It could be a possible tear of the labrum. Time and an MRI will tell. I was very happy with the amount of time he spent with me and it seemed to me he knew why I was having the problem

Dr Spanyer is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. He replaced my right knee 6 months and I have recovered from the surgery completely. Going to have my left one replaced in December and I wouldn't think of going to anyone else.

I had walked with a cane previously because of a knee replacement that was infected and now I do not use a cane and I can enjoy my life again and especially my granddaughters! I am very happy with Dr. Spanyer as my Doctor. He takes the time to listen about all that I am going through with my hip. He and his staff are wonderful.

Dr Spanyerr is the most amazing doctor I have ever had in my entire life. One doctor had really messed my knee up very very bad! Well he jumped in and fixed it all I never thought I would ever be able to bend my leg again and I do now. He is the friendliest best side manner intelligent kind very much respected by me doctor in human being I've ever dealt with. I could never say enough things great about this doctor. I hope you are blessed enough to have him for your doctor. I don't trust many doctors at all but I trust him completely! Had trouble with infections and Dr Spanyer stuck with me all the way until we eliminated the problem finished with a successful replacement. Very through as he and his staff make you feel positive show determination to make sure process is in good hands.

Had my final check up and Dr. Spanyer was super kind, thoughtful and I am so glad he was my surgeon. Always makes you feel that he is here for you. Even though I don't need to go see him for a year from now. He told me if I have questions, concerns or need anything that all I need do is call his office. He is awesome!

Dr Spanyer explained in detail my options after viewing my X-rays and physically examining my knee. He was very open to all questions proposed in his consultation. Extremely professional and caring!

When it comes to knee replacement Dr Spanner is a fantastic surgeon. After my knee was replaced, I had no pain, a little discomfort, but nothing else. My recovery was very short, if fact I played 18 holes of golf 6 weeks after surgery. Even the physical therapists I saw said that people they have help recover, recover faster when operated on by Dr Spanyer. Wow I have been living in knee pain for over a year and finally got the courage to set up an appointment. Before I left the office some pain was relieved and today (24 hours) I feel like myself and smiling ear to ear. My diagnosis is arthritis on my knee and was given a shot of cortisone. The best orthopedic for older patients . I took my 79 year old mom to dr. Spanyer. He is so good with older patients… very compassionate, kind and takes time to go over options.

Dr Spanyer is a wonderful surgeon. He explained the procedure to my daughter and me and made us feel comfortable with both the surgery and after surgery care. He is a very personable young man... a wonderful doctor.

Dr. Spanyer took time to discuss my hip and knee. I was impressed that he did not see rushed and provided options. I waited until after the first procedure to write this review. Now after 36 hours my hip feels 70 - 80% and my knee 30 - 40 % better.

Dr Spanyer is a great surgeon with a great bedside manner. He is pleasant to talk to, easy going, considerate, passionate, and a man of tremendous integrity. I recommend him to everyone I know.

I had a partial knee replacement. Two months after surgery the knee feels good and I can't tell I have a replacement part. I am very happy with the result. Dr Spanyer was pleasant to work with and did a great job!

Dr Spanyer did a great job with my legs. I have a complex issue in both legs and he made me feel quite confident in his ability l to care for me after being turned away by several doctors.

Am fairly athletic 58 year old male. Been to 4 previous orthos because of knee pain which left me hobbling for 5 years. They did not find any structural damage in kners yhat would warrant the pain. Did 3 rounds of physical therapy. That didn't help. Was referred to Dr. Spanyer. As he examined the knees, I explained several ways the knee pain was limiting mobility. Dr. Spanyer listened and inferred that my hips may be the cause. He ordered x-rays. Withn 10 minutes, Dr. Spanyer was reviewing the x-rays and explaing in common terms what was occurring. The hip joints were grinding bone on bone. Both hips were replaced by Dr. Spanyer within 3 months. Am grateful that he has given mobility back to me. Another aspect that was important was how the support staff treated me. From scheduling, to the P.A.s to the receptionist... Felt welcomed. I reccomend Dr. Spanyer and staff.

I was seeking a second opinion to explain why I still have knee pain following meniscus surgery in August 2020. Dr. Spanyer identified a spot on my X-ray as avascular necrosis. He clearly explained the condition and options for treatment. Now I have to make a decision about which path I will take. I am confident that Dr. Spanyer will provide the best treatment possible.

Follow up visit post total knee. Dr is compassionate and caring. He’s an excellent listener who takes time to hear and then carefully answer each question. Highly recommend this skilled professional.
