Great 1st visit. Excellent staff and Dr Diaz is the best I've seen in this area. Takes his time explains everything to you. I was treated with respect by staff and the office made you feel very comfortable during all the assigned tests.

I was able to get an appointment quickly. His office staff was easy and pleasant to work with. Dr Diaz was very thorough and spent more time with me than most physicians in this area. I highly recommend Dr Diaz

Dr Diaz is the best ! He is unbelievably kind and has a wonderful friendly and essy-to-talk-to bedside manner. He is very understanding you snd truly listens. His office staff is great as well and I have not had to wait any time at all in the office.

Waited over 1 hour for nurse to get vitals.

My husband has seen Dr Diaz and Rose the NP. Very impressed with the entire staff there, everyone has been very nice and helpful. My husband had a lung problem that was not resolved until seeing Dr. Diaz. He had 2 ambulance trips (breathing problem) and hospital stays and we couldn’t get a diagnosis to help his situation. Dr Diaz gave him a breathing test and changed his medication. One visit with him and one with Rose, all questions were answered and all concerns were addressed. Very happy that my husband is feeling so much better and his medical care is excellent.

I am highly dissatisfied with my experience with this practice largely in part to the fact that as healthcare provides they blatantly ignore CDC guidelines and refuse to treat patience's on the basis of inaccurate and misguided office policies. I scheduled an exam with Dr. Diaz for breathing concerns that have been ongoing for several months. When I arrived for my appointment, I was asked to complete a Covid-19 check in. On the form I was asked if I have ever tested positive for coronavirus, which I had several month prior. I was asked for proof of a negative test before being seen my the doctor. Per CDC guidelines which state; "If you test positive, you do not need to repeat a test for at least 3 months. You do not need a follow-up negative test to return to work or school, as long as you did not require hospitalization, AND It has been at least at least 10 days after symptom onset and resolution of fever for at least 24 hours, without the use of fever-reducing medications, and with improvement of other symptoms." I never received a second test. I was told that the offices policy was that should an individual have ever test positive, they would need to show proof of a negative test prior to their appointment. I fully understand and respect business and office policies, however I was highly disappointed to find that this office, which specializes in Pulmonology treatment, does not understand nor adhere to the guidelines outlined by the CDC. While I understand the risk of coronavirus to doctors and nurses despite their field of medicine, I suppose my standard for Pulmonary Specialists to understand and adhere to CDC guidelines is higher than a general practice physician. In addition, as an individual seeking treatment for pulmonary concerns, I find it alarming and disheartening that Dr. Diaz not only chooses to ignore CDC guidelines, but also refuses to treat individuals who may be experiencing breathing problems as a long term side affect of coronavirus. Lastly, had I known and understood the policy of their office prior to my appointment, I would not have scheduled an appointment with Dr. Diaz. I feel they wasted my time and resources by not making their policy clear prior to my visit. Amazing care! I was nervous going to a doctor because of covid but after seeing how careful and safe everything is at Dr.Diaz’s office is, my nervousness is gone! Thank you to everyone there who took great care of me!

While this was my first visit, I am very impressed. The nurses and staff are friendly and helpful. The office was clean and organized and safety protocols and measures were in place and adhered to. I had a breathing test done which I expected due to my complaints and I was pleasantly surprised to see that this was done within my visit instead of having me come back for another visit. The doctor was friendly and professional. He made me feel at ease and was completely thorough in explaining my condition and answered all my questions without the feeling of being rushed or unheard. I was extremely pleased with the wait times in the office which was minimal and the ease and quickness in obtaining an appointment. Plenty of parking and location was easy to get to. Thorough explaining patients illnesses. Provides other options for your own decisions to make. Caring and returns phone calls. So thankful for his help.

I was in the Villages hospital and Dr. Diaz told me he scheduled me for surgery, then he never showed up. Two days later he did the exact same thing. I was just left at the hospital, waiting, and he didn't even bother to contact me to let me know he wasn't coming...…….or explain why. I was in the hospital 5 days, and was in bad shape when I got out. He is a terrible doctor and his word means nothing. I would give him a zero rating if I could.

I have been a patient of Dr Diaz for about 7 years. I have to say that he is my favorite Dr! Not only does he listen to you but he truly cares! He has always been there for me. His office staff is top notch as well. Everybody is always so kind and do everything they can to help you.. If you need a Pulmonary doctor, Dr Diaz and his team are the best!

Dr. Diaz has an excellent bedside manner and is very thorough. He checked my husband's medications and found that the hospitalist had added another blood thinner, which was not good. He also diagnosed the lymphedema and cellulitis in my husband's lower leg. He treated the pneumonia adding more antibiotic because of sepsis. Thanks to Dr. Diaz, my husband came home from the hospital and is healthy and still doing well. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Jose Diaz.

I have no clue why Dr, Diaz gets such 4 star rating.........he is current on therapies and the best. Office staff is courteous. Yes, one does have to wait some but don't we all with many doctors. He is a busy man

Dr. Jose Diaz and his Staff are a Blessing!! I am a Caregiver to my mom who lives with my husband and I. Dr Jose Diaz and his Staff Rate Off the Charts!! The Compassion, The Follow-Up, So Kind and Professional, and so much more!! Dr. Diaz taught my Mom and I that part of his job as a Doctor is being a Teacher-taking the time to explain and guide us. My Mom had TB @ age 13 and had her left lung removed. Mom had been in great health till recently, but now the effects of her TB has caught up and now more than ever we need the Best of the Best and that is Dr. Jose Diaz and his Staff!! Dr. Diaz was able to diagnose and treat my lung issue correctly after two other doctors told me I had COPD, asthma and emphysema. I came to him for a second opinion because of an ongoing cough. Glad I chose him.

Great Dr. Has treated me for a rare lung disease called B O O P for over 4 years and my lungs have improved yearly !! Further more has a great STAFF !!!
