Dr Gabriel & staff took time to listen to my concerns & input. Called office after visit with a question for Dr Gabriel & received follow up.

Dr. Gabriel, co-workers and staff are the best any patient could ask for. I highly recommend !

I trust Dr. Gabriel's skills and medical knowledge. My procedure went well and was professionally done. The staff were all great. The follow-up was thorough and informative. The only issue I had was that he prescribed PLENVU for prep which was not available. CVS never even called me back about it. PLENVU was presented as the only option acceptable. I resorted on my own to do the good old fashioned MiraLAX prep which is over the counter and inexpensive. There were no issues using that prep.

Scheduled an appointment on several occasions. Each time a "Prep-Kit" was to be sent to my pharmacy. Two days before the procedure, the "Kit" still had NOT been sent. Appointment had to be rescheduled, ONLY to find the same thing happen again! I called one week before the last appt to make sure the "Kit" was sent. It had not. I was assured it would be. It never was sent and AGAIN I had to cancel the procedure. I don't blame the doctor but I do blame the staff that didn't follow through and as a result I have not been able to have the procedure. Praying that it will not be detrimental to my health due to their inability to follow through.

I’ve seen his PA over 3 months ago, I’ve called the office and actually spoke with someone on four different occasions about a prescription and a test that she wrote for me and I have not received either. I haven’t got so much as a courtesy call to let me know why the prescription or test hasn’t been submitted or just a return to my call.

Like most procedures, the wait seemed long. However, the staff was very attentive, took good care of me, and kept me informed of what was "next" in the procedures. Doctor Gabriel was in shortly after the tests and reviewed the results with my wife and I. Not something I would want to do again, but Dr. Gabriel and his staff made the whole process bearable.

I was referred to Dr. Gabriel by my PCP for a second opinion of a recommendation made by Lake Medical Imaging that I have a PET scan. This recommendation was made based on a CT scan I had recently. Dr. Gabriel concurred with my PCP and LMI that I need the PET scan to rule out cancer.

Dr Gabriel is a classy person, personally and professionally. His office staff was friendly and helpful.

I really appreciated my visit with Dr Gabriel. I found him to be very pleasant to talk to--he was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. His assistant who took my blood pressure, weight and other answers to her questions, was extremely friendly and enjoyable. As for the front desk, when I checked in for my appointment Friday, Feb 4th, I found the person to be very unfriendly and rude. After my visit with Dr Gabriel, and again I met with the receptionist to set up my upcoming appointments for my two procedures, I found her to be rude, short and very unfriendly. I proceeded to ask her if I irritated her. Only then did she decide to try to be friendly. I really appreciated my visit with Dr Gabriel. My husband as nervous enough to go see doctor...had appointment for 1:30PM. Got to office ten min early with paperwork in hand. There were literally ten (1) patients in front of him. Receptionist completely rude. Waited almost an hour...no movement in waiting room. Walked out. If this is how they treat patients....imagine the medical care. RUN

Clean..great staff..informative and professional counsel..

I was very pleased with my first visit. Doctor Gabriel listened to all of my problems that I have been having for the past 7 weeks. He prescribed two different over the counter probiotics, and with in 48 - hours I am feeling great again. Very pleased....

From the phone to Receptionist to support staff and Dr. Gabriel himself, the care & treatment were all "FIRST CLASS"! Dr. Gabriel ensures that his staff embrace the same commitment to excellence as he does. My husband has been a patient for years and it has always been patient first with excellent care. Dr Gabriel is the BEST ever.

Dr. Gabriel has followed me and my conditions with my pancreas for the last three years. His advice and referrals to specialists may have saved my life. I would recommend doctor Gabriel to anyone.

The staff was amazing so friendly and helpful. I had already researched Dr Gabriel and everyone I talked to had nothing but good to say about him. I am very picky and guarded when it comes to Dr’s but I felt at ease with him right away I am very happy with this group

I would give him a negative 10 stars if I could. I wouldn't let him trim my dogs toenails! Dr. Gabriel’s practice in my opinion seems to be ONLY money motivated. He lines patients up like an assembly line. His office does not answer the phones and if you are lucky they may return your call the next day. They are rude and snooty. I was hospitalized after my procedure with a bacterial infection. When I went in for my follow-up he seemed not to know that I had been hospitalized, when in fact his office had been informed as well as I had seen his partner in the hospital. He was dismissive and could have cared less. To top it off, I was charged an office call to review my lab results from my procedure. I would give him a negative 10 stars if I could. Dr Gabriel is the best health care professional I have encountered in the past three years of living in The Villages, Florida. He is relaxed, attentive to my symptoms and then suggests treatment options. He answers all questions. I was the last patient of the day and his manner suggested I was his first patient. He's professional, informative and genuinely concerned about his patients and their welfare. His staff is very efficient and orderly. I just had another great visit with Dr Gabriel whom I've known for the past 10 years. Dr Gabriel genuinely cares, is pleasant and always responsive to my needs even on weekends. His knowledge and skills are top notch. No wonder he was voted top Gastroenterologist 11 years in a row. We feel so lucky to have him around.

It’s worth the wait to see Dr. Gabriel. He offers a very direct approach in identifying one’s test results and explaining them. Very cordial and answers questions you may have. His concern for your health is apparent.

AWFUL!!! HE DOESN'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT HIS PATIENTS! GO ELSEWHERE!!! IT HAS TAKEN A WEEK AND THREE PHONE CALLS TO GET HIM TO CALL IN A PRESCRIPTION HE TOLD ME WAS IMPORTANT TO START RIGHT AWAY. WORST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER DEALTH WITH.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gabriel for several years, and I highly recommend him. In March, it was determined that I was losing blood somewhere. I did a fecal occult test and blood was found. I had never noticed it. A colonoscopy was scheduled. The day before my scheduled test, the surgery center was closed by the governor because of COVID. By this time, I was afraid and started to notice the bleeding. Dr. Gabriel went to bat for me and fought with LRMC until they agreed to let him do the procedure at the hospital. They were severely limiting all procedures at that time. Thanks to him, my colon cancer was found. That very day he helped me to make a connection with a surgeon, who was wonderful! Exactly one week later, I had surgery to remove the cancer. I just had my 6 month follow-up colonoscopy by Dr. Gabriel. I am doing well. I feel like if I would have had to wait, the cancer would have spread. It was a stage 2A. He was not afraid to fight for me, and I am forever grateful.

I never got in to see the doctor. The receptionist wasn’t wearing a mask- she told me she didn’t have to because COVID IS NOT S REAL THING. Other patient were not wearing masks either. After waiting over 40 minutes- and asking about the masks, they asked me to leave for being difficult. I can’t trust any doctor’s practice if they do not respect science and do not care about taking their ( largely elderly) patients safe.

I never actually go in to see the doctor. Patients are required to wear masks and to sign a waiver protecting them from liability if you get COVID from their office. Unfortunately, the receptionist doesn’t wear a mask and they do not enforce mask wearing by patients in the waiting room. They do not wash the pen they give you for paper work, between patients when I asked the receptionist why, she said it’s because “ it’s [COVID] is not really a thing. “ If a doctor doesn’t respect science or the health of his patients, and teach his staff to do so also, he cannot be trusted ( side note; I am 61 and was the youngest patient there by ten years- someone is going to get sick) Avoid this office.

WARNING - DO NOT TRUST!!! Beyond horrible. Staff is extra ordinarily rude and unorganized. I HIGHLY recommend you get a different doctor. I had a colonoscopy scheduled; they called back and said I had to switch to inpatient - an increase in my cost by over $3,000. I since found that the hospital has NEVER had a colonoscopy inpatient. When I tried to explain this to the nurse - she HUNG UP!!!!!

Dr Gabriel was recommended to us by virtually all our neighbours and when I asked my primary care doctor about him he told "you've got the best". I looked up his Bio and it was impressive. Our experience with him and his office staff was excellent. On a personal level Dr Gabriel is very pleasant, attentive and caring . We are lucky to have him in The Villages.

Dr. Gabriel was wonderful. He took time with me before and after my endoscopy . The Thoracic Surgeon called me immediately because he had high regards for Dr. Gabriel. We are fortunate to have found such talented doctors locally

Finally found a Gastro Doc that is professional and has knowledge of nutrition. Additional test required but needed to be certain of diagnosis.
