This doctor is horrible. I’m writing as the wife. We went to see this doctor to transfer our meds and see if he can help us with temporary pain management as our previous dr dropped us to due office closing. They only gave us a month did not do there jobs in referring us to a pain specialist so we did all the work and time ran out. So we hoped dr Matus would be empathetic enough to provide us with a week or two of our pain meds as we are both disabled and in chronic pain. He not only stated he would not help us but demanded we come back Monday to bring our pill bottles even though he had all of our history from the pharmacy, I guess pharmacies lie too, in his eyes. He didn’t listen to a word we said didn’t make eye contact but wore gloves and kept washing his hands incessantly! He said he would refer us to a pain dr that we already told him we tried but refused once again to listen. He even brought the nurse in when he examined me but not for my husband he even didn’t check my back! Like he did my husband I guess because I spoke up as my poor husbands blood pressure had risen as it is usually low but It was from the stress. The doctor is disgusting! We are both therapist and we never treated our clients that way! The nurse and staff were so nice I have to say. They even said we can see another dr when we come back. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!!! Old school doc scared to death to order even basic meds to patients, even after being ordered by real physicians in the emergency room. When they say "they are going to call you back", that is lingo for , have a nice life. Worst doctor experience in my life

This doctor is a very nasty, disingenuous, and small-minded senior citizen. He and the entire office are highly unprofessional. It is run like an inner-city clinic where you will be escorted and ordered around like an animal--not a patient, not customer,, and not a fellow human. It is not an office for humans, but a factory for livestock. You will be asked if you have guns in your home, if you have tattoos, if you ever smoked, etc. before you even meet te so-called doctor. This doctor is a very nasty, disingenuous, and small-minded senior citizen. He and the entire office are highly unprofessional. It is run like an inner-city clinic where you will be escorted and ordered around like an animal--not a patient, not customer,, and not a fellow human.
