Dr. Tamai and his staff have been a true blessing to our family and more specifically our 2 year old Adrielle. We drive all the way from western Indiana to get the proper care we deserve and Cincinnati Children’s provides. We started our club foot journey at a hospital here in Indiana and it didn’t quite pan out, so making the drive is worth it. Thank you Dr. Tamai and crew! Dr. Tamai is extremely personable and relatable. He takes time to explain imaging as well as offers solid recommendations for follow up plan of action. Oh, if all physicians had his bedside manner.

Dr. Tamai gave me and my son a sense of peace after he explained the details of procedure. He took his time and answered all of your questions. After the surgery was over he again reassured me that everything went well and that my son was doing fine. He even made use of the whiteboard and actual drew a diagram of how he placed the screw in my son's hip. That gave me a sense of peace. His team of leaders were awesome as well. Had a consult for surgery on our 6 month old today. He spoke directly to our child and played with her while examing. He had my wife hold her in her lap instead of throwing her on the table.
