My doctor listened, explained & came up with a plan. Plus she was familiar with my complex medical issues. I couldn’t be happier.

Dr. Alfano dropped all his younger patients to focus on older ones. Myself and husband were switched to Dr. Jacobs. When we both went in for our yearly wellness exams she didn't even see us. She was in the office but had a fill in doctor attend to us. I can't believe at our first scheduled visits with her she wouldn't make sure to see us so we can meet her. Absolutely unprofessional. Felt like we were just at a walk in clinic instead of getting familiar with our new doctor. We have officially decided to find a new doctor and office. Do not recommend at all. No good experience with her a continuous disappointment each visit .....rushed appointments and poor listener, we both agreed it wasn't a good fit

She is rushed and doesn't listen to patient, not your typical Osteopathic physician, and I don't believe she is into nutritional or preventative medicine... I do not all recommend her care ... Mutual decision to change , I was not at all happy and I'm a retired nurse

Wonderful place very clean and great Doctors. Dr Karen Jacob is so nice hear you out and always try to come up for best treatments. Best place to come for all medical needs,

I made an appt to get established and the day of my appt they called and said the doctor had to cancel but I can see the nurse practitioner. I asked if by seeing her I can get all of my rxs filled and they said yes. Came to my appt and confirmed the same thing with the nurse and was told yes. Paid my copay and left. Was called a week later and told I needed to see the doctor for my rxs. Not thrilled, but made the appt. Morning of my appt they again called and said the doctor canceled. I asked to see a different Dr and was told no. It’s been almost 2 months and nothing has been addressed or accomplished with my health issues because the dr is unreliable and cancels all my appts. My husband and I just moved to the area and finding the right doctor was important. Dr. Jacobs was exactly what we were looking for. She asked a lot of questions, she listens and gave us good information on staying fit and healthy. We like someone who’s first reaction is not to write a prescription. My husband was having minor issues with a medication and reached out to her via email and the response was within a few hours. Highly recommend. If you want a truly invested doctor who seeks actual solutions to medical problems, look elsewhere. If you have colds, allergies, the flu, just normal type things she would probably be okay. Just don't expect any meaningful, thoughtful care for anything more complex. And expect your knowledge and understanding of your past medical history and your own body to be minimized or discarded as valueless. So very disappointed in this doctor.

It was my first visit and I waited almost 2 hrs. Then a resident dr came in I asked if I was going to see Dr. Jacobs and she said maybe at the end of the visit if necessary. I wasn’t expecting a resident especially since it was my first visit. She asked some health questions then left the room to talk to the dr and I waited about 20 mins and no one returned so now I’m there 2 hrs and haven’t accomplished anything. As I sat there the entire time I could hear the staff talking and laughing, doesn’t sound too busy to me. I decided to leave and let the front receptionist know I won’t be returning.

Dr. Jacobs takes the time to listen to our questions and takes quick action to run tests and find a solution to keep me and by wife healthy. We highly recommend this doctor that has a passion to help others.

Dr. Jacobs has been very attentive to my medical needs. She is more about a team decision rather than her telling you what your body needs. She listens to you and treats accordingly.

This doctor coerced me into a vaccine and a medicine that should have never been given to me. Terrible patient manners, and very belittling. Heard her discussing me with the staff, and laughing. Asked for my notes to take to a new, competent doctor, and was given incomplete notes. No mention of several interactions, and no mention of the vaccine. I have never been well since being her patient. These physicians need to stop gaslighting and take their oath seriously.

As a new patient I felt my office visit went very well. She spent time dealing with my health issues. I would recommend her to someone looking for a doctor.

She has been the most caring and attetnive Dr. I have ever been to. She is quick to respond to your medical needs. I just love here and i would highly recommend her to anyone.

I have been a patient of Dr. Jacobs for many years. She is excellent. Dr. Jacobs take the time to listen and understand. If you have a problem and she cannot figure it out she will research it and help you

Good doctor, office staff is one of the worse i have worked with. I even had to call and work with the office manager, that only lasted until the next time i had to go back. I would not recommend this office.

Dr. Jacobs has taken such good care of my Father In Law and my Mother In Law. I have nothing but good things to say about her. She is so compassionate and caring with him and makes herself available to us 24-7. No other doctor has ever done that for us. I would recommend her to anyone who wants good personal attention.

I would highly recommend this doctor to my family and friends. Dr. Jacobs is the most caring and understanding Dr. that I have ever had the privilege of meeting. She has taken it upon herself to come to make house calls yes house calls to my aged father and mother. In my experience with her I feel that she treats the whole family and not just her patient. Many times we have had to have family discussions over the phone so that all are kept informed. My husband and I both have her as our doctors also we just love her. Can’t say enough good about her. If anything holds her back it’s her staff not her.

I am a patient of Dr. Jacobs, I cant express how grateful she became my primary. she listens and really cares;She doesnt judge and absorbs everything im going through. I highly recommend this physician, she is a warm person and a great example of what all physicians need to follow.

Dr. Jacobs is fantastic!! She listened to all of my concerns, addressed each one without judgement, and made sure I felt comfortable with our conversation. I can’t believe I’m excited for my future appointments! I highly recommend her!

My Husband and I see Dr.Jacobs and have been very impressed. She is compassionate and knowledgeable. I have a serious condition that was identified by her and I was able to get to a specialist for treatment. What I have is identified with PCP's in less than 10% of the cases, due to it being so commonly overlooked. I'm very happy with Dr.Jacobs and have recommended her to all of my family and friends.

Saw these reviews when I googled to find Dr. Jacobs's new # and was shocked. My daughter and I found Dr. J to be the MOST thorough, compassionate, intelligent family care provider in all of Hillsborough. My daughter had been misdiagnosed with a horrible condition at a specialist's ofc. I took her to Dr. J upon the rec of several physicians in town. Dr. J quickly assessed my daughter with the utmost compassion and made the correct dx (monoand trtmt plan. (I work in the legal/medical field.)

Dr Jacobs was negligent in her care and treatment of my condition. Critical lab values indicated a life threatening situation yet she stated on one occasion, she missed seeing the labs because of a death in her family. On another occasion she failed to notice critical lab results altogether. My physical condition worsened and my health continued to decline, yet she failed to refer or hospitalize me. To this day, I still have no definitive diagnosis.

One of the most incompetent Dr's I have ever used. Bad habit of blaming others for her mistakes. Very different once she walks out of the exams room.

She was excellent at first. Soon discovered she always has to consult another Dr. Barely listens to what you have to say. Half listens and rushes you through. Can only handle one issue and if complex she will be oblivious.
