Everything with Swedish and Dr. Tonder is top-notch, except for the lead time needed to make appointments. Our family is considering leaving Swedish due to the fact that 3+ month lead times for appointments is too long.

Dr. Tonder is a wonderful caring Doctor and has been my doctor for many years. I don't want to have to see anyone else but her. I wish I was able to get in to see her sooner as at times it can take quite a while to get an appointment with her. I have been fortunate to be able to get on the cancellation list when I ask which texts me with an earlier appointment if someone cancels and that worked well for me this time as I got in sooner. If that hadn't happened I think I would have had to go to the Emergency Room which is not good . I have been coming to Swedish Issaquah since 2006 (even in their old location ) and in the last year I have seen a big difference in the number of patients at the hospital and a big increase in the time it takes to be seen. That's not the doctor's fault at all, she is always very caring and professional.

Dr. Tonder always takes time to listen to my concerns and answer questions, never appearing rushed.

Dr. Tonder is always courteous, thorough and caring! She is the best provider. Medical assistant is always helpful and polite. I always recommend Swedish hospital for health care. Receptionists are always respectful. Only Waiting time in the lobby is too long because of short staff. I Understand that but Dr. Tonder and her assistant's empathy makes it to worth. Still suggestions to admins to hire staff so patient doesn't need to wait that long and availability for patients to get sooner appointments.

Dr.Tonder is excellent. She is very caring and easy to talk to. She asked great questions and answered all of my questions. She is thorough and patient. I didn't feel rushed. The MA was also very kind and did a great job.

Dr. Tonder always provides strong listening skills to my health concerns, asks clarifying questions, and always provides the best care & referrals when necessary. I give Dr. Tonder a score of 11, with 10 being the highest.

Dr. Tonder is a wonderful physician who finds the time to listen, question, advise and follow through. From what I hear from others, unfortunately, she appears to be an exception. She also seems to treat her staff with respect and they do their best to work a patient into her schedule when there is a great need.

Best doctor ever!!!! It means so much to me to be in her care

I love my care provider, Dr. Tonder. Have been seeing her for 10 years. My biggest disappointments are the difficulty getting appointments. I called in June to make my well care check up appointment for November. The wait time at the lab is extremely long and your facility is very crowded. Also, the ER experience I had several months ago was awful. I sent a letter of concern to the hospital back then, but never had a response.

I've seen doctor Tonder since she first started at Swedish, she's the best doctor I've seen. She cares deeply for her patients and I have moved a half hour away from Issaquah but still choose to only schedule my appointments with her.

My recent experiences have been reassuring about staffing and expertise.

Dr tonder has always been a great asset for me towards my health. She always listens to what I say and gives me her deductions in a clear manner. I thought I had a problem with my blood pressure medicine. We dealt with new medicines, adjustments and recalculation for over a year. We used my chart when I didn't go into the office. She meticulously kept in touch with me, referred me as she thought appropriate and we found a solution which has stabilized my blood pressure. She's one of the best doctors I've ever had.

I found Dr Tonder when I found out I was pregnant with my first son. I liked the fact that she could follow through pregnancy and then be his Dr after birth. She was wonderful and made us/me feel comfortable and confident. Even after moving to Tacoma we drove to Issaquah so she could deliver our second. She listened to every question we had and walked us through a rough time when our second wasn’t growing properly. We moved out of state and now having our third. Finding a new Dr is hard and hopefully I can find someone who is close to how wonderful she is. I would definitely recommend her.
